Pig Oil

Rick Biesada

How many incidents have we heard of where the hooded, jacked booted thugs of our omnipotent, imperialistic government, raided the wrong house, or negligently seized the assets of law abiding citizens?

Too many, as far as I'm concerned, and in each case the wronged party had to prove their innocence at great cost. In some cases, many people lost everything by default because they didn't have the assets to recover their loss through the superfluous court proceedings, which could have been cleared up with a simple telephone call long before the visit from the over zealous SWAT Team.

This abuse of power could be perceived to be an object lesson for an act of collective submission. Obedience to an out of control, all encompassing federal government operating outside of it's constitutional parameters, against the law.

The reason why I bring this topic up is because our government keeps on going after the wrong people. They seem preoccupied with targeting the little guy while the big fish run amok, ripping off society with impunity.

The average citizen is too frightened to speak up in fear of reprisal from a hi-jacked, subversive government, who has usurped our rights through fiat legislative abuses such as hate crimes.

No wonder why there is no hue and cry from the public over these over inflated fuel prices. We are paying a kings ransom for a gallon of gasoline, a necessity, while the oil companies are recording record profits.

While Exxon netted 10 Billion dollars from soaring oil and gas prices, the average independent trucking companies are going out of business.

Exxon reported a 125% profit increase while British Petroleum reported a 165 % increase. Conoco Philips reported a 44% increase while Chevron Texaco rocked the charts at a 294% record profit increase at a time when Ma and Pa Kettle have to pawn items to put gas in the family car.

According to Sirotablog; Dan Gross tells us in his up coming book; Hostile Takeover, that the oil industry refineries are responsible for the current spate in price gouging afflicting America. The oil industry has purposely cut back on refining capacity in order to create artificial bottlenecks that drive up prices.

Even old and feeble Nevada Senator, Harry Reid can't hide the shame of these outrages price increases. Harry states that the price increases have not been driven by the rising cost of crude oil, but by corporate greed and profit. The big oil companies control supply and they know that families really little choice in the matter. They literally have consumers over the barrel.

While the consumers are being strangled paying record prices, the oil companies are reaping record profits.

Reid claims that he asked the Federal Trade Commission to stop this price gouging, but they won't act. The FTC continues to "study" the problem while gas prices sky rocket.

Reid cries about finding innovative new solutions, (like we can all wait another 10 years.) but claims that this administrations energy policy is stuck in the past and it is slanted toward big oil and other special interests.

It's funny how government can get motivated when it really wants to. When it has a need, like the time the BATF needed a scape-goat to insure their funding for the following fiscal year. They snooped down to Waco, Texas, where they gassed and burned to death more than 80 Branch Dividian, American citizens who were exercising their right to freely assemble.

Than there was that incident down at Ruby Ridge where our pious government abused it's power and tried to entrap Randy Weaver and his family. FBI sniper marksman, Lon Horiuchi fired a high powered bullet through the brain of Mrs. Weaver as she did nothing more than cradle her infant child.

Government abuse and corporate greed is really taxing on American Citizens. Add to this another crime. The United Nations, Oil for Food Program debacle, which we have learned that 100 Billion dollars was fraudulently funneled through bogus front companies and terrorist organizations under the watchful eyes of Secretary General, Kofi Annan, and his corrupt United Nations.

100 Billion dollars down the tubes and nobody is being held accountable.

Record profits for oil companies, yet consumers are getting ripped off at the pump and nobody is being held accountable.

I've got an idea! - Being that our over zealous jack-booted fascists don't have anything to do lately... maybe we can make them earn their pay and go after some real crooks for a change. We know who these crooks are and where they can be found.

We can unleash them on the big oil extortionists and force them to expand their refining capacity to bring down the prices.

Being that Vice President Cheney and LaRaza member, Attorney General, Alberto Gonzalez, want to return to the days of corporal punishment and administer torture, perhaps they can reactivate FBI sniper, Lon Houriuchi, and send him on a mission to either find the missing 100 Billion dollars ripped off in front of Kofi Annan's eyes, or put a bullet through his brain... Oops, how silly of me, I almost forgot. Our government issued bullets are only meant to be used on American targets.
