Cheese Us - I’m sick of this already!Just like a bottle of vintage whine....By Jeffrey Bennett, Publisher | | Jeffrey Bennett, Publisher |
Another week in the can – another begins – and The Sun Also Rises! The selection process of ought-four is finished – oh, no – that’s not right – the tallies won’t be completed for several weeks more – and the whiners are still at it - Oy vey! What? Does that mean that I was for Bush? Absolutely not! Kerry? No way Jose! I was for Freedom and Liberty and a return to a Constitutional Republic, but it seems that those weren’t the choices offered this year. Instead, our Skulls were crushed by a couple of Bones(men) – but alas – one didn’t necessarily win – but the other one lost – go figure. Since last Wednesday morning (when Mutha Tereza’s husband conceded), over 60% of the columns, which have been submitted to The Federal Observer for publication, have moaned and groaned about the outcome of the election erection of ’04. Some of the columns, which have been submitted to us include titles such as:
How the Election Was Hijacked Validation: I Was Right by Geoff Metcalf The Faith of GW Bush Do Not Concede Your Vote to Bush Understand, I am not picking on these columnists – I am just sharing several examples of the range of columns, which are constantly sent to us. Pro-Bush, anti-Kerry, anti-Bush, pro-Kerry. ”Gee, my guy won/lost and the rest of you are all losers.” The worst among them, shows just how screwed up this entire nation is: Bush didn't really win, written by an illiterate idiot, who thinks that those who voted for Bush were illiterate. Oh God – Book IV, where is George Burns when we need him (yeah, yeah – so what if he was Jewish – get over it!). What do you azz-wholes want, Franklyn D. Effing Rosenfeldt? He’s dead you dumb bas-TURDS! DEAD! How about Reagan – same story – DEAD! If you don’t like the outcome – then get off of your dead azzez and find a REAL Statesman – not these namby-pamby, watered down whisps of MEN! If Bush and Kerry are the best this nation has to offer – we are in deep shit! HEY! Gimme the toilet paper, will ya? Putting Votescam, DieBold and the like aside – Junior won by three and one-half million votes – give or take three and one-half million – and he pulled the Electoral votes as well – all the while our chains were being pulled. This ain’t 2000 all over again with a paltry ½ million dumb people in Flori-DUH – it’s two thousand and by God four – and whoever controls the voting machines wins. Oh–Hi–Oh - wait until Hillary gets into office in ought-eight – who do you think will control the votes then? It will be time for a change – and I’ll be ready for it (yeah – right!). Rick Biesada for Sex-retary of State! The Godawful Old Party and the Dumb-o-Craps I’ll not waste any column space reviewing all of the “pros” and CONs of the two distinctively similar organizations – suffice it to say that, no matter which would have declared ”victory” we ultimately are the losers. Huh? But – Bennett – don’t you think that we are better off with a ”Christian” as our leader? Well of course I do – if that is what we had. I don’t disbelieve Mr. Bush’s conviction (hint, hint) that he believes that he is what he says he is – it’s just that I guess that I don’t go to the same church that he does – any more than I attend the one Mr. Kerry does (he attended six Black churches within the last week of his campaign). Get Over it Already OK – now I‘ve had my say so – so let’s get on with it! Do any of you honestly believe that the outcome would have provided a difference – other than on the surface? The war would go on, the United Nations would not cease to exist, our economy (due to long-term mismanagement of the dollar and the out-sourcing of the GDP) would continue it’s downward spiral, our borders would remain wide-open (thereby inviting global terrorists to partake of the benefits, which the ”Great Satan” has to offer). Oil prices would not go down – but continue their move towards $80.00 per barrel. I mean shit – it’s a global economy – and our “friends” Putin, Lil’ Kim Il Jong, Fox and Ding Hau (or whoever is leading China today) could really care less what happens to the united States of America. Well, they all should – it’s off of the American taxpayers azzez, that each of them has been living for an awfully long time. Eff the American worker! | | NOT A DIMES WORTH OF DIFFERENCE! |
Before the Fall Prior to the election, I sent an email out to all of the regular contributing columnists of The Federal Observer, explaining that I was going to be quite selective, regarding, which of their columns that I would be posting – and would no longer post columns or op-ed pieces about Kerry or Bush – pro or CON. Several writers took offense to my e-mail, one even going so far as to suggest that, after the election they would be trimming some of the web-sites, which they submitted their work to. So be it – ”frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn!” As far as I am concerned, those with that attitude are gone with the wind. You can’t have your cake and Edith too… I think that I grew weary early on during this past campaign season, when I finally came to realize the complete and total polarization of this nation – you were going to be damned if you did – and if you didn’t. It’s kind of like a Ruddy dog (that’s News to the Max) – full of commercial B.S. and pro-Bush – well frankly – bushit! I also witnessed a similarity with WorldSnotDaily. When I first went on the internet some five years ago, among the best and brightest web-zines (at that time) were the two aforementioned (alluded to) web-sites. Farah began his first and Ruddy soon followed. At that time, each of them offered the best writers and the most (true) conservative writers of the day. WorldNetDaily has retained some of their better writers, such as Craige McMillan, Joel Miller and others. Farah at least can write for himself. Other columnists carried by WND are carried by other web pages, including Kevin McCullough, who was one of the original independent columnists to submit his work to The Federal Observer. Oh yes, Ruddy carried McCullough for awhile, but I suspect that Kevin was ostracized once he began to be carried by Farah as well. Seems to be the Ruddy way of it. Today, WND – I am told – is the most popular web-zine of its kind on the internet. I am glad, because even if I feel that it is not as hard-hitting as it once was – it’s still miles ahead of what has happened over at ”the other place.’ Steve Farrell is a writer, with whom I became familiar very early on with my endeavors with this publication and as with Diane Alden, each of them, at one time or another seems to have had their work edited or deleted by the ”staff” over at the ruddy-dog site. These are two brilliant writers, who apparently just didn’t fit into the mold of where New-Smax wanted to go. ”Don’t question mein fuerher or ve vill conveniently lose your latest column.” In addition, I can no longer visit New-Smax for all of the “Flash”-type banner ads, which continue to roll. I realize that each site needs to provide an income in order to stay afloat – but this site is obnoxious, due to all of the ”motion” distractions, which I am constantly being bombarded with. On the other hand – I am no longer sure who is at the helm over there, Ruddy or Dick Morris. Morris seems to be the ”go-to_guy” over there anymore, continuing to play his role as the “palm Reader” at the State Fair. Lot’s of predictions – lots of bullshit! How about a little substance once in awhile? It just isn’t there any longer. Fluff and Stuff – with a twist. Too much commercialization, with too little substantive editorial columns. Oh well, I guess that they are trying to compete with the six o’clock news. What a bunch of Blabber (Dan)! They don’t call him ”Dick” for nothing! Just like a couple of rudding Ruddy dogs – they ‘re sticking it to an unsuspecting, rather large group of sheople each and every day. Baaaaaa-baaaaaaa-baaaaaa? By the way Chris - just who is editing your kindergarten columns now? Those in the know REALLY want to know! Since the inception of The Federal Observer, I admit, that we are primarily a ”right-leaning” publication, but rarely is news the basis of our publication. We are approaching 9,000 columns posted since July 24, 2001. Not bad for an old, angry Gee Eye, who survived Viet Nam - and my sometime partner in time, graphicologist extraordinnaire, Louis Turner. We ain’t done yet – but we’re not going to make anyone happy – our goal is to make you think for your damned self for a change. Have we accomplished anything in this column? Hell no – I am pissed off and just wanted to rant. Oh yeah, be on the lookout for Diane Alden as she’ll be joining The Federal Observer soon. Views expressed by the author do not necessarily reflect those of The Federal Observer. Wanna bet? These are my views and if you don’t like ‘em – well, you know what you can do to yourself!
Without Apology I am,
