Open letter to United Way

The author sent a donation directly to the Chicago Boy Scouts and copies of the following letter to the Illinois United Way as well as the national headquarters. It may not do much good, but he is disgusted with the treatment BSA is getting from the United Way and the homosexual lobby

Dear Director,

I have received your letter soliciting funds for United Way. Although I have done so in the past, I will no longer contribute to any United Way chapter. I will continue this practice until each local body, such as the Chicago Area United Way, is prohibited from blatant discrimination against the Boy Scouts of America.

In a time when every homosexual organization shares in United Way funds, it is disgraceful that any chapter is permitted to discriminate against an organization dedicated to preserving a moral, upright, ethical, and principled program for young boys.

My son has just completed his Eagle Scout program. This program is dedicated to reinforcing morality, wholesome living, patriotism, family values, and religion principles.

I have seriously considered withdrawing my daughter from the Girl Scouts in view of the sexual lifestyle of some leaders and the national support of lesbianism. In the future, I will make my donations directly to organizations, including the Boy Scouts of America, that I believe contribute to the strengthening of the America I have loved.

Americans are not permitted to suggest that the homosexual lifestyle is decadent; that it is murdering a whole generation of young Americans through the spread of AIDS primarily through indiscriminate and unprotected homosexual sex. Zealots for homosexuality are corrupting churches such as the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Episcopal Church, which recently installed a practicing homosexual Bishop.

It is no longer acceptable to celebrate Christmas by mentioning the name of the One for which the season is dedicated - Jesus Christ. Christian religious symbols are prohibited while other religions are free to display anywhere.

America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and Western European law, but our schools are being inundated with "diversity" and "multicultural" teaching that insists that America is no better than any other country. Our children are being indoctrinated with the belief that the primitive religion and tribal law of some remote people is just a valid for America as a system of Western law and protection of individual rights that has served us well for more than two centuries.

America is being swamped (a not inappropriate use of the term) with a decadent culture that will ultimately destroy us as a moral, ethical nation.

I realize that the United Way is not responsible for every insane, politically correct dictate of the left-socialist-atheist-homosexual crowd that is seizing control of my country. But, in this one small protest, I register my refusal to passively sit and watch my America go the way of a Roman Empire, drowning in decadency and politically correct insanity.
