Bush & Co. Get Speared!

By Jeffrey Bennett, Publisher

It’s 9:50 p.m. in the Mountains of Arizona as I watch the election ‘returns.’ Returns, because although many of the names in CONgress are going to change in January, after a couple of weeks – it will return to business as usual.

As of this writing, Sanatorium (spelling intentional) is out and the control of the House of Misrepresentaives has reverted to the Demogogues. In Arizona, Mitchell appears to have ousted Hayworth and it looks like J.D. is going home. He supported the failed principles (the 'War on Terrorism') of the Administration too long – and it cost him the election. Pelosi will soon be ruling the roost in the House - two steps from the Presidency - watch out Hillary.

In the Senate, Lott and Byrd retain their respective seats, while Kennedy has been returned to his over-stuffed chair by voters, who still believe they are voting for Camelot. In Arizona, McCain’s boy Kyl – retains his seat in the Senate. Lieberman (the consummate DINO) is elected as an Independent after the Dems dumped him – and Bush supported him. Politics really does make strange bedfellows – right Foley?

How many similar stories are playing out across the country at this moment. As my Granny says, the LOSER is: The American People.

Dumping one Snake for Another

I’ll not ad to this nausea any longer. America has chosen to divorce herself from the policies of the Bush administration – on the very day that Britney Spears announced her (surprise, surprise) divorce from her dim-witted husband. She certainly chose the wrong day for publicity. Thank goodness that Bush can’t do it again!

But the night isn't over yet - and all this could change by the time I awaken.

And a final unrelated note: The 'Readers Comment' section of The Federal Observer has been suspended indefinately, due to abuse and misuse - chiefly spam-blaster type 'ads' which were eating up band-width and detracting from the feature's pupose.
