Foreign Interference in my town again.By Guest Columnist: Dan Somebody Editor's Note: On August 30, 2006, Pastor 'Slim' Coleman was a guest on the Hannity & Colmes show on Fox TV. Coleman denied that the issue nor he were political. What a lying sack of shit! His history proves that he has always been political. The following comments were NOT written by Rick Biesada - but they could have been. The salsa intifada is getting ugly here in Chicago and once again we're being embarrassed because every nativist right winger and their 2 brothers are butting in. So Elvira Arellano, a 31 year old illegal immigrant, got busted in a raid at her place of employment, Chicago Ohare Airport. Instead of leaving as ordered, she instead took refuge at Adalberto United Methodist Church. The church is located in the ghetto Humboldt Park, a rather rough north side neighborhood. First things first: This is a completely manufactured incident. Sources (of which, I have two or three) are saying that this whole thing is orchestrated by Sin Fronteras and the March 10 Movement. The pastor at the church is long time Chicago political thespian, Harold Washington era throwback, and community activist Walter "Slim" Coleman. Slim has no love for the Chicago political apparatus. When (‘cross-dressing’) Harry Washington was doing his successful run for mayor back in 82, Coleman was charged with motivating another ghetto community, Uptown (just blocks away from the famed Friendly Confies) into getting out and voting for Washington. It probably made the difference between Washington winning, so you would expect that he'd be given his sweetheart job and a couple of ribbons. 35th and Michigan was a bit to slick to lend their name to a seriously left wing whack job, so Coleman flipped out and ran a few protests about [RANDOM EARTH SHATTERING ISSUE] which were subsequently ignored and forgotten, much like Slim is now. Welcome to Chicago, mother-fuckers. Political theatre is a mainstay. Keep your mouths shut, get some popcorn, and enjoy. That would be too much to ask, of course. Well kids, in the words of the honorable King Richard: "You manage your own city. We manage here". Contrary to the masturbatory desires of the nativist right, the SWAT team isn't gearing up to go in to Adalberto United Methodist Church.....because Chicago doesn't have a SWAT team. Ha! No, but seriously NIMBY (Not in my back yard). The fed's wouldn't have the balls to go into a Chicago church to turn it into another fiasco to embarrass my town. Anybody dumb enough to do a raid on a Chicago christian church deserves exactly what they'll end up getting, which is to say a very pissed off populace from Lawrence south to 79th street. You do that in your shit-hole-po-dunk-fuck-tard towns. Not in mine. You want people storming a church in your town? By all means. But not here. This is Chicago. It's a different place. Look folks, I've got no love for the law breakers. If it's time for her to go, it's time for her to go. But you're not making a fool of my city. We've got the Cubs to do that.
