Bennett: The Hiatus is Over (Photos)

Dateline: March 1, 2015

This past eight months have gone by, and I owe our readers an apology.

On June 23rd, 2014 I moved into my son’s home in Phoenix, Arizona, with the intent of a two month clean-up, paint and minor repair renovation. The purpose: To resell the home at a fair and comfortable profit for the kids. It sure beat selling it for less that what they had paid but two years earlier.

The intent of well laid plans wasn’t meant to be. In a few more days I will be witnessing my ninth full moon in this place, which I now recognize as Heaven on Earth. For those who regularly listen to my daily broadcast, this project has turned into one of total restoration of a home that was built sometime before 1955 and 1962. The jury seems to be out on that one as of yet – but we’ll get it figured out.

What took so long? Well – to make a long story short, When you are renovating a home that is between fifty-three and sixty years old, that has had at least three additions done to it, in addition to several original walls having been removed – you find that most people who do “remodeling” jobs – should be required to work seven days a week, so that they can NEVER be allowed to do weekend projects – thus requiring me to correct years of neglect and abuse.

The project is basically complete and the place is now up for sale (offered at $139,900.00) – which sucks – because I really would like to spend the rest of my life here. This home – and that is what it has become – a HOME – is now what it should have always been – and once was… SOLID and well maintained.

So now you have merely a taste of the Rainbow Home, but… the time has come to get back to work, which includes the maintenance and upkeep of our various websites – including this one, which has had no updates or work for quite some time. Within days, we’ll have this home listed on-line – with it’s own web-site – so if you are tired of freezing your rear-ends off in Buffalo or any other point east of Phoenix – then you might want to give me a call on my office phone – 602-799-8214. Leave a message and I will phone you back, but until then…

It is also time to get to the finalization of the brand new updated version of Dr. Kelley’s seminal work on Cancer. We believe that Kelley would have been proud of the final offering of his amazing body of work. Many of you have waited for over a year – well – now you know what has consumed me for these past eight months. Sometimes family must come first.

Without Apology I am,
