This will effectively be, my last article for 2012. The ONLY reason I am writing it is because in January, the Wicked Witch of the West, Senator Diane Feinstein, plans on introducing a bill which would ban on the manufacture and sale of, so-called, assault rifles, but would also require the registration and fingerprinting of ANYONE who had legally purchased one after the 2004 expiration of a ban on them expired. My intent is, hopefully, to introduce some facts, and common sense, (something that is far too scarce these days), into the argument before the Senator is successful in ramming this bill through Congress to the desk of, a more than willing, President for his signature.
First of all, some history. In 1994 the Congress passed the Federal Assault Weapons Ban, or Public Safety and Recreation Firearms Use Protection Act, which provided a ten year ban upon, so-called, assault rifles. It was signed by President Clinton, and then expired in 2004. Now this new bill, which will be introduced in January, will ban the same type rifles, close loopholes in the 1994 law, while at the same time ban other semi-automatic pistols. It will also require that the owners of those weapons purchased during the time they were legal to be fingerprinted and registered with the government. This, being pushed by the same Senator Feinstein, who on 60 Minutes, stated, “If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them — Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them all in — I would have done it.”
Chicago, one of America’s most Nazified, anti-gun cities, has just recorded its 500th homicide. This is another banner year for Rahm Emanuel’s tightly controlled non-gun “paradise.” Breitbart recently reported that Chicago’s own stats show that 440 school age children were shot in 2012 in Chicago’s paradise. Breitbart’s Awr Hawkins writes:
These numbers are well above those for the 2011-2012 school year, in which 319 Chicago students were wounded and another 24 were killed.

House Democrats will waste no time pushing gun control legislation and plan to introduce a bill to ban the production of high-capacity magazines on the first day of the next congressional session, according to the office of Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.), who is co-sponsoring the bill.
The so-called “Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device Act” will seek to limit magazines, belts, drums, feed strips and “similar device[s]” to 10 rounds of ammunition. While people who own high-capacity magazines and devices would be able to keep them, they would be prohibited from buying others or transferring existing ones.
“The bill would also exempt retired and current law enforcement officials who use those devices for ‘purposes of law enforcement (whether on or off duty)’ as well as contractors who have been licensed to carry the devices for security purposes required by federal law,” The Huffington Post reports.
If you look at this years shootings a glaring problem has gradually been growing, and that is the drastic cut in mental health service. They have been closing at an alarming rate, the mental health facilities i.e.; hospitals and throwing the mentally ill patients into the general public.
This is not a recent or sudden change in policy, but a gradual and systematic failure of our legislators who felt it was not an important issue to warrant maintaining funding. The greatest failure in American History is the class of people who through no fault of their own, have been discarded and in a sense thrown away to facilitate more money to be thrown away by our government. These legislators are just as guilty as the gunmen who cut short lives, than in order to save their collective behinds come in after to either divert or say they do not know what the reason behind these crimes was.
In a legal argument formally presented in federal court in the case of Hobby Lobby v. Kathleen Sebelius, the Obama administration is claiming that the First Amendment, which expressly denies the government the authority to prohibit the “free exercise” of religion, nonetheless allows it to force Christians to directly violate their religious beliefs even on a matter that involves the life and death of innocent human beings.
Because federal judges including Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor have refused to grant an injunction protecting the owners of Hobby Lobby from being forced to act against their Christian faith, those owners will be subject to federal fines of up to $1.3 million per day starting Tuesday for refusing to include abortion-inducing drugs in their employee health plan.
Pundits and experts of every description love to predict and pontificate. That they are often famously wrong doesn’t get the attention it deserves.
The Great Depression began on October 29, 1929 with the stock market crash. On October 17th, Irving Fisher, a professor of economics at Yale University, said, “Stocks have reached what looks like a permanently high plateau.” A month later Fisher said, “The end of the decline of the stock market will probably not be long, only a few more days at best.” The Great Depression stretched for ten years, in good part due to the “progressive” policies of Franklin Delano Roosevelt who was elected and reelected to four terms!
Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome every time is the definition of insanity.
By that definition, the American electorate is stark, raving, mad!
We are streaking toward that fiscal cliff at supersonic speed with little, if any, chance that we will be halted before the final plunge.
… And WE did it! You and I — the voters did it.
Too often we look around for some one to blame when the defecation hits the rotary oscillator. But this time, dear reader, we need look only in the nearest mirror for the culprit.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Following a Friday meeting with congressional leaders, an impatient and annoyed President Barack Obama said it was “mind boggling” that Congress has been unable to fix a “fiscal cliff” mess that everyone has known about for more than a year.
My first question to you Mr. phony usurping NON President is;
If everyone including you has known about this fiscal cliff for more than a year, what have you done to fix it, play more golf and take more vacation time?
Your stupidity and ineptness says only one thing about you, if you went to college and law school as you claim (but have never proved), what were you doing during that seven year period when you were supposed to be acquiring your supposed brilliance, standing outside the back door smoking weed and sniffing coke?
