IT’S OFFICIAL: THE ARMS TRADE TREATY IS DEAD
The threat of the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) is over, for now. On July 27, the U.S. joined Russia, Indonesia, and India in saying they needed more time to think about the pact before going forward, thus negotiations ended. And although this won’t keep the treaty from coming back up should Obama be re-elected, it does means that gun owners can breath a sigh of relief for the next six months.
Following the suspension of negotiations, gun control groups which had been silently waiting in the shadows for the ATT to be ratified lashed out at Obama for lacking “political courage” on this particular issue. And it says something about the real intent of the treaty that some of its strongest supporters were groups like the the Arms Control Association.
Credit for ending negotiations goes to conservative Senators, who had already made it clear they would not ratify the treaty, to the National Rifle Association, Gun Owners of America, and Tea Partiers throughout the country.
The Arms Trade Treaty is dead for now, and we are free.

BAD NEWS: the treaty can be brought up to the entire UN and there is talk that it will be later this year (after the elections)it can get voted on, if passed: Hillery will sign, AKA will sign and then 2/3 of the US Senate MUST ratifity?
I believe it was Thomas Jefferson who said “the beauty of the 2nd amendment is, it won’t be needed until they try to take it away.” Food for thought, fellow patriots.

The second amendment still stands on “paper”, but it is just as dead as a doornail. Being the only teeth in the Constitution, the rest of it is only so many words if it were removed all right, but its dead, and that’s just as bad… And what do I mean by dead? OK…I’ve seen it written right here on these same pages by other commentators, that the “founding fathers would already have been reloading”….
What good are guns unfired?
Out of 100 people who do the macho talk maybe 10 will fire and they will be people who do not have families and have nothing to lose all others will give em up pronto.

as a free American to ensure they have the finest entertainments
money can buy. They will surely thank you for the stand you took cos they will need some serious distraction from the fucking they will be enduring.
The movie is over the credits are rolling and we are still staring at the screen waiting on the cartoons. How sad.
