Debt Slavery – Why It Destroyed Rome, Why It Will Destroy Us Unless It’s Stopped

Hammurabi Knew Better
Book V of Aristotle’s Politics describes the eternal transition of oligarchies making themselves into hereditary aristocracies – which end up being overthrown by tyrants or develop internal rivalries as some families decide to “take the multitude into their camp” and usher in democracy, within which an oligarchy emerges once again, followed by aristocracy, democracy, and so on throughout history.

Debt has been the main dynamic driving these shifts – always with new twists and turns. It polarizes wealth to create a creditor class, whose oligarchic rule is ended as new leaders (“tyrants” to Aristotle) win popular support by cancelling the debts and redistributing property or taking its usufruct for the state.

Ross: I Learn Something New Every Day (But at least I’m learning)

I know that sometimes when I write I come across as sounding arrogant, obnoxious, and downright insulting, however, all I am trying to do is what Jefferson admonished Madison to do in a letter written in 1787, “Educate and inform the whole mass of the people… They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty.” To me, right beneath my eternal salvation, the preservation of my liberty is at the very top of my list of things of great importance.

That is why I spend so much time researching and writing about the subject, because I see my rights being stripped away from me by a tyrannical government, with the vast majority of the people in this country not even understanding what their rights are.

Kindergarten’s Socialist Origins

Most schools today, both public and private have kindergartens. They have become an accepted part of educational life in this country and others as well.

This was not always so. When I first attended public school, way back in the mid-1940s, there was no kindergarten where I went. Although some schools undoubtedly had them, all schools did not. They had not become totally entrenched, although their promoters had been working on that project with much zeal. Their efforts seem to have paid off. Kindergarten is now as much a part of school life as the seventh grade.

No Stinking Amnesty: 12.05.11

Rep. Gutierrez Recommends Illegal Aliens Carry Library Cards
The arguable Numero Uno Traitor of Congress, Rep Luis Gutierrez, has a new scheme to help his pals the illegal aliens. Since the implementation of Obama’s administrative amnesty for all but axe-murdering foreigners, Luis’ latest brain burp is for illegals to carry “papers” which show they didn’t just blow in last week. California DREAM Act Will Cost Millions More Than First Estimated
The California DREAM Act was pitched as being relatively inexpensive and wouldn’t harm citizen students. Now a report from the Legislative Analyst Office says that both of those assertions are wrong: it will cost $25 million more than the original estimate of $40 million; the giveaway will cost $65 million annually and increase from there. Obama Regime Will Accept And Support The California Amnesty—Be Afraid
Be Very Afraid. The Obama Regime Administrative Amnesty has hit the States and California is stepping up to the plate. While some think that California is just trying to get the amnesty in before Obama is removed, it is more likely that this State amnesty is part of the Obama Regime Amnesty. (Read Full Story)

Cain Train and Affirmative Action Derailed

It looks like the Cain Train ran out of gas.

I hate to pat myself on the back, but months ago, before any allegations were lodged against Presidential Candidate, and Independent Businessman, Herman Cain, about sexual harassment, I had an on air discussion with my side kick, Kevin Mathews, “The Fluffy Bunny,” about Mr. Cain.

Fluffy was enamored about Herman Cain’s campaign, his conservatism, and his ability to recoup a dying food chain, Godfathers Pizza.

I pointed out that it was commendable to get that business out of the red ink, but it was a business that Cain had inherited through Pillsbury’s affirmative Action program.

There was no risk involved on Cain’s part, such as the risk of reaching into ones own pocket and taking a chance of starting a successful business.

Having some skin in the game tempers a persons behavior and cultivates a persons determination, unlike being handed a business on a silver platter. If it failed you could walk away unscathed, then return to another ludicrous, government sanctioned employment venture with no personal risk involved.

I guess the point I was trying to make was that in this faux climate things don’t always seem what they appear to be.

When The Going Gets Tough, You What!?

“Nothing could be worse than the fear that one had given up too soon and left one unexpended effort that might have saved the world.” – Jane Addams

Sure, we know ….. Americans are really up against it these days, with a plethora of difficult problems. The world elite (ruling class) are controlling the global money supply and the world economy and trying to drive us all into a new world order against our will. Our Federal Reserve is neither Federal nor a reserve and is owned and operated by private individuals who could be and probably are foreign nationals and may not have and probably don’t have America’s best interests at heart.

THE LOGICAL PROGRESSION OF THE OCCUPY MOVEMENT

Well, boys & girls, I believe I can tell you how the Occupy Movement will, “progress”, and we have relatively recent history to guide us. I would like to remind you that the SDS, the Students for a Democratic Society, eventually developed a splinter group calling themselves, “The Weathermen”, who sabotaged, bombed and murdered indiscriminately because the base SDS movement just wasn’t getting the results the splinter group of Weathermen thought should have been made.

Spending More has Never Worked!

Ask any financial advisor what to do when you are drowning in debt and they will tell you to spend less and pay down your debt. This is just common sense. However, if you ask politicians what to do, they will advise that the nation spend more and borrow more.

Despite a huge national debt and deficit, the federal government just concluded its biggest spending year with its second biggest annual budget deficit. For fiscal 2011 which ended September 30, the government spent $3.6 trillion, an increase over the $3.52 trillion posted in 2009.

Victory or Death

The campaign season of 2011-2012 is shaping up to be one of “search and destroy” – anyone who would take on the Socialist at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Each of the Republican canned-idates has vocalized some good ideas, but ideas ain’t going to get it done. Paul is a one issue runner (“End the Fed”). Bachmann has raised “5 biological children and 23 (state-funded) foster children”, but wants to deport all illegals. Cain had “9-9-9″ but that equals 27, which exceeds his 15 minutes by twelve, so his time is up. Huntsman is still looking for any kind of recognition, as is Santorum. Perry still looks like a chiseled “Ken” doll (who can’t get his message out – because he can’t seem to speak), and Mitt is just a pretty-boy weak sister.

This leaves only Newt, who, although is probably the most fluent and has the best chance of whipping O’Bumma’s azz in future debates – and possibly the election – also brings a lot of baggage to the table, but I am no fan…

Yet, having said this, the following video says a lot. Listen to the message…
