I say timeless because Cicero lived approximately 2,000 years ago. The following quote describes the very tap root of our collective problem of an ‘totally out of control’ federal government. It is as true today as it was true then.

What Cicero is basically saying here is that a ‘person‘, a word of legal art, only get their Rights one of two ways. You either get them from God and Nature’s God or you get them from man. I prefer to frame is slightly differently. Freedom is God’s plan and slavery is Satan’s plan. Period!

As we approach the end of the 3rd year of President Obama’s term….I think it important to give credit, where credit is due and to congratulate him on that, which he has to date…

THE PROBLEMS:
Come on people, admit it, you’ve been beaten. Give it up! The international moneychangers, power brokers and politicians have colluded to enslave the masses through manipulating fiat money, the implementation of social justice and environmental protection on a global scale and have so entangled commerce, trade, money and debt between nations, that individual nation sovereignty has all but been dissolved. (Keep your pants on! We’re going somewhere with this.)

This past weekend I had an encounter at my local mall with a particularly naïve young salesgirl over my decision to buy my wife a firearm for Christmas. Just today at work I had another conversation, again with a woman, who found it disturbing that I purchased a rifle yesterday. In fact, this person said that she would NEVER let her husband buy a gun…of any kind.

My wife knows how I feel about guns and if she ever told me that I could not buy a gun she had better never ever step foot into J.C. Penney, Kohls, or even think about watching QVC again! It is a paradox that I do, but I don’t understand why people, especially many females, have this almost paralyzing fear of guns.

Women expect their husbands to provide for, and protect them, but then some of them deny their husband the ability to do so by saying they won’t allow them to buy a gun to defend them, or their home, from intruders. Yet at the same time they are perfectly willing to spend all kinds of money on fancy clothes and jewelry so they can LOOK nice. I find no logic at all in that.

Essam Al-Batsh and his nephew, Sobhi Al-Batsh, are the latest in a long line of reported Palestinian ‘militants’ killed by Israel. They were both targeted while driving in a car in downtown Gaza on December 8. According to an Israeli army statement, “(They) were affiliated with a terrorist squad that intended to attack Israeli civilians and soldiers via the western border” (Reuters, December 8).

Another ‘militant’ had been killed two days earlier. Israeli military aircraft “had targeted two militant squads that were preparing to fire rockets into southern Israel,” according to the Associated Press. AP quoted Israeli official saying the army would “continue to take action against those (who) use terror against the state of Israel.”

It really doesn’t take much to kill a ‘militant’ in Gaza. Israeli military intelligence officers simply select a weapon and zoom in on their chosen person on any given day. This is not a difficult task really since the entire population of the Strip are besieged in Gaza’s open air prison. The same statement issued regarding the assassinated ‘militant’ can then be easily rewritten, using the same predictable justifications.

EVERY MEMBER OF CONGRESS WHO VOTED FOR THE TYRANNICAL NATIONAL DEFENSE APPROPRIATIONS BILL IS GUILTY OF T R E A S O N TO THE CONSTITUTION

Article 1, Section 9 of the US Constitution clearly gives ONLY CONGRESS the ability to suspend Habeas Corpus during a period of war on American soil. Our Founding Fathers had a very good reason for giving this dangerous power to Congress, rather than any other branch of government. For they knew that the power to suspend Habeas Corpus would not pass easily among a large body of Representatives and therefore the power would not be taken lightly, nor such a fundamental right removed easily.

Yet Congress has effectively handed its duty over to the Executive branch, abrogating their sworn oath – ONE MAN – (that would be the Usurper in Chief, Obama) now gets to decide who deserves a right to fair trial and who doesn’t. This is a DIRECT violation of the Constitution and absolutely qualifies as a THREAT TO THE REPUBLIC.

I was at the mall today and while my wife shopped I went for my usual cup of coffee. As I passed a booth a young blonde woman stopped me. The following is the conversation that took place.

Me: Yes?

Salesgirl: Are you shopping for your wife?

Me: No, I’m going to get some coffee.

Salesgirl: Can I interest you in something for your wife?
