Seditious Conspiracy

Seditious Conspiracy, U.S.Code, Title 18, Part I, Chapter 115, Section 2384

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to over throw, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

The United States is being ruled by thieves who have exploited our national resources, and are extorting American citizens in a surreptitious scheme to transfer wealth from the ambitious, to this presidents base of near do wells, and useless eaters.

Thank goodness, American’s have been spared another nauseous weekend of media hysterics, as Congressional leaders worked out a two month deal to extend unemployment benefits with a trillion dollar budget bill to fund government folly, or threaten a government shut down.

Is this the best these feckless seditionists can do?

Everything Is NOT Hunky Dory In the Land Of the Free and the Home Of the Brave

AUTHORS NOTE: Everything I discuss in this article is not intended to support nor condone that acts which I discuss. I am merely trying to get people to THINK about their views and perspectives on the subjects discussed.

For years now the internet has been filled with Patriot Movement websites, and now with the rising popularity of Congressman Ron Paul, the ranks of Patriot Movements such as the Tea Party, these numbers have increased exponentially. Is this evidence of the people of this country finally waking up and learning about the principle of liberty and individual rights, or is it a phase brought about by the pitiful economic state in which our nation finds itself? Only time will tell I suppose. However, if you will permit, I would like to take a few moments to discuss the difference between what I see going on right now, and the Patriot movement that brought about our nation in 1776.

In his farewell address, George Washington warned that we should “…guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism…” Adlai Stevenson, Jr. once said, “Patriotism is not a short and frenzied outburst of emotion but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.

Meekins: Leftist Factions Co-opt Rather Than Abolish Holidays

For about the past two decades, those to the left side of the sociopolitical spectrum have made such a fuss over their hostility towards traditional American holidays and celebrations that the arising disputations have themselves become an anticipated aspect of the close of each year. It was claimed such festivities promote values so vile that these sentiments must be expunged from the civic calendar and the very names seldom mentioned for fear of irrevocably harming those not participating for whatever the reason.

Though not always cognizant of the epic spiritual and philosophical struggle taking place all around them, Americans can be a remarkably stubborn and independent lot. As such, a number sympathetic to the process of communalization have realized that they might be more successful in accomplishing their goals through a subdued gradualism rather than through sudden revolutionary upheaval.

The first of the remembrances of the waning year subverted by manipulative social engineers is Thanksgiving. This holiday is despised for a number of common liberal reasons.

AVERY: A NEW STRATEGY TO FEED THE WORLD

Can we successfully grow more plants per acre as a future strategy for increasing our crop yields and food production? Sixty thousand corn plants per acre—twice Iowa’s current average—could be one route to higher productivity. The world will need twice as much food in 2050, and we’ll need to triple the crop yields on the best land. Doubling would be a very good start.

Otherwise, we’ll see one of two bad things: Either lots of people will starve, or we’ll plow down all the wildlife for low-yield crops. The stakes are high. But the basic ways to raise yields over the past half-century—cross-breeding plants, irrigation, pesticides, and lots of nitrogen fertilizer—are already widely used. Another three-fold yield increase will be tough.

Christianity’s Triumph

“By far the most important event in the entire rise of Christianity was the meeting in Jerusalem in around the year 50, when Paul was granted the authority to convert Gentiles without them also becoming observant Jews.”

So wrote Rodney Stark, the Distinguished Professor of the Social Sciences and co-director of the Institute for Studies of Religion at Baylor University. His most recent book is “The Triumph of Christianity: How the Jesus Movement Became the World’s Largest Religion” ($27.99, HarperCollins).

For Christians in particular, I recommend it if only because so many have a tenuous grasp of Christianity’s real history, as opposed the versions that too often are casually accepted as truth.
