Pretendisdent, B. Hussein O., Sillary Clinton, Bawney Fwank, Nanny Pelosi and a number of other demlicans would have us believe that the OWS (Occupy Wall Street) demonstrations are similar to the Tea Party demonstrations. Anyone that believes that has been sleeping longer than Rip Van Winkle. While the Tea Party demonstrations were attended by a bunch of patriotic Americans that assembled peacefully and cleaned up after themselves, the OWS crowd is not patriotic and does not clean up after themselves.
This (OWS) is what I call a real fasunistic gathering. You have Nazis, (fascists), socialists, communists and America haters of all stripes. What do they want? Well, it depends on which one of the idiots you ask. I call the idiots because most of them are not smart enough to get out of their own way. Actually it is probably a slap in the face to idiots everywhere to be compared to these scumbags. They steal for each other and the stores in the neighborhoods where they have taken over the parks. They rape their own, even the disabled. They have sex in public, and other forms of public nudity. They crap on police cars and otherwise deface police cars. They urinate and defecate in public, they use and sell drugs at most of the locations and these are just the tip of the iceberg.
The number of times a group of illegal aliens came to our house asking for help was a number I cannot remember. It would be, without a doubt, in the hundreds. Most of them were polite. Occasionally, one or a group would be aggressive, even demanding, and a few downright arrogant and disrespectful. Most of them were lost, many times asking where Phoenix was located and when told that Phoenix was over those mountains 250 miles away they were astonished. Many of them had been told by their guides, known as coyotes, that Phoenix was within walking distance three or four hours away.
The volume of humanity that came by was simply overwhelming; you just couldn’t handle that many people. If you helped all of them by feeding everyone who asked for it, the word would get out on the amazing underground communication system, which was and still is in effect, and you would be flooded by even more. We would always give them water, but gave them food sparingly, simply because we did not want to be known as an easy meal. We always called the Border Patrol and many times they would be picked up before leaving the premises.
One day about midday three illegals approached the house, a young man and two women. The young man was in his mid-twenties, the older of the women, about the same age. The other female was probably in her late teens. I called the Border Patrol and went out to talk to them. (Read the full story)
The Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) new mission, according to Secretary Janet Napolitano, is to have 50,000 veterans employed at the agency by the end of 2012.
Secretary Napolitano announced that “DHS spent more than $1.4 billion with veteran owned small businesses, and surpassed the Small Business Administration’s target of spending 3 percent of all contracting dollars with service disabled veteran owned businesses.”
The agency says they recognize the numerous sacrifices veterans make for America, and have developed three strategic objectives to connect with veterans in fulfilling DHS missions: Increasing veteran employment opportunities; expanding contracting opportunities for veteran-owned businesses, and enhancing veteran engagement within the Department of Homeland Security.
I was sent the following video link by a reader. It is well reasoned and factual. It says what I have been preaching for many years. America as a free, well disciplined , and wealthy country is on the down side. When any civilization has become too soft, too lazy and too complacent, they have failed.
We not only demand the niceties of life, we also are willing to give them to anyone who wants them. In our comfort, safety and complacency, we believe that we can solve the problems of poverty and hunger by giving our wealth and our food free and ask for nothing in return. The youth of today, camped out in their tents on lawns and parks in cities across the nation are suffering a little with the cold, the inconvenience and the pressure of city governments to make them disperse. They feel righteous and in their own small way are trying to make a statement. They cry about the problems and do not realize that they are the problem. (VIDEO)
I remember well those days of the boxing matches that were fun to watch. Before Ali was Ali – when he was still Cassius Clay – and he was the big news and they would post his measurements all the time – my husband matched them almost exactly. I used to call my husband the White Cassius Clay at the time because there was a resemblance in measurements and facial features as well. We watched every fight Clay/Ali – was in. The fight with Frazier was a hard one to accept but it was to be. – Granny

I have been away from this keyboard for a while because, quite honestly, I was getting burnt out. I had been told over and over again that I may not see the effect my writings may have, but I was making a difference. For me, it is hard to sustain the level of dedication it took to spit out article after article without seeing that my efforts were having any effect on the way people think. I wasn’t seeing that so I basically said, screw it, I am going to take a hiatus until I rejuvenate myself. Don’t get me wrong, I have not given up, but I also am not going to spit out articles at the same pace I used to, especially when I see that the majority of the people in this country have their heads are so far up their asses it would take a fleet of D-11 CAT bulldozers to pull them out.

“The night watchmen in the crows nest peered through the night fog with his binoculars, straining to see if anything was in the ships path. But alas, all he could see was a ghostly white shroud everywhere he looked, an impenetrable fog that was softly illuminated by the ship’s lights. Suddenly, without warning, the fog cleared for a moment and a giant, mountain-sized chunk of ice appeared in his binoculars, just a few hundred yards in front of the ship. He pressed the button that set off a loud buzzer in the wheelhouse and yelled through the ship’s intercom .’….. ICEBERG! … ICEBERG!, dead ahead starboard side.’”
When Americans who are the most victimized by our cruel economy still believe in something that is demonstrably no longer true, they are deeply delusional. They desperately want to believe in something once great about American society. The reality is that upward economic mobility has been destroyed, replaced by widely observable downward mobility. Some of the mostly younger jobless that have embraced the Occupy Wall Street and related Occupy efforts know the truth.
Consider the results of a new survey of unemployed adults this month:
