I am tired to the bone of those that use God as a lever to rationalize and justify their actions. Not even Cecil B Demille killed as many people as we have in God’s name. Some religions like Islam continue to subjugate the believers with Shariah Law which places men well above the status of women and condone all manner of atrocities in the name of this cult. Women are subjected to beatings and murder regularly. In Pakistan 80% of the women are beaten and one is murdered daily. All that is required to convict a woman of heresy are two men to accuse her. One woman is in prison awaiting hanging for arguing with two such men. They accused her of heresy. She awaits her fate.

Fast forward to today and the anti gun forces are at work once again as they try another tack (among many).

The media are mistakenly characterizing the Occupy Wall Street movement as unemployed Millennials with a legitimate gripe against Wall Street consistent with the Tea Party, or as a rag-tag group of unemployed stoners with no coherent message, not to be taken too seriously. After spending hours interviewing protesters in Oakland, California, both characterizations are way off base. If either scenario were apt, these folks would be marching on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and storming Congress. Instead, they’re taking on Wall Street and storming the homes of the wealthy and the buildings of large corporations.

I know that the tone of my recent articles has been negative and that some get the impression that I am giving up the fight. That couldn’t be further from the truth, I will continue to fight until my last dying breath. It is just that from my perspective I see things as having gone too far for any hope of returning to a government of limited power as outlined by the Constitution.

Recently, and I hope the person who said this doesn’t mind my quoting him, someone told me “Freedom and liberty is a never-ending war, a constant struggle, it will never be ‘won’ but it can certainly be controlled.” This person is not alone in having said something similar to me, and it appears that many believe that I am not aware of this fact…au contraire, I am very much aware of it…possibly more so than they give me credit for.

The thirteen colonies had devised a medium of exchange which they called script. The only outcome of this was to force the colonials between a rock and a hard place, leading them to revolt against the King. In response to the revolt of the British subjects in the New World, the King sent in the guns and a revolution was born. The King controlled the money and the guns, leading to revolution.
