Immigrants arrested at ‘coming out’ rally
All the arrested individuals were taken to the Mecklenburg County Jail for processing. The sheriff’s office said individuals identified as being in the country illegally will be turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. This will be one of the first chances to see how a new Obama administration policy on illegal immigrants is implemented. The administration announced last month that those without criminal records – who are found to be a low priority because they are students, were brought here as children or have long family ties to the country – would be released and granted work permits. California looks to change law regarding driver’s license and car impoundments
Rolling closer to passage is California AB 353 a bill seeking to allow those driving without a valid driver’s license (either suspended or unable to obtain one due to legal status) to prevent impoundment of their vehicles. Currently state law mandates drivers caught, usually at safety checkpoints, are written up and their cars impounded for up to 30 days. Authors of AB 353 contend that illegal immigrants and the Latino population in general are more susceptible to losing their impounded vehicles altogether. As soon as the Usurper in Chief took office, every other phrase out of his mouth was: “We must get this done very quickly; there is no time to lose,” and we have been hearing it ever since.

My husband has stage 4, metastatic cancer and this is our story of the search for his care. Although twenty-four months ago his physicians and three-second opinioned doctors gave him six-months to live if he opted out of treatment and twenty-two months if he opted in. My husband, Philip, decided he wanted quality of life and chose not to undergo the assault on his body that the treatments were certain to do.
Sorry to borrow from the Grateful Dead for my title, but nothing more aptly describes the course my life has taken up to this point in time. If you could go back in time and see me thirty years ago, you would never have guessed that I would be where I am at today, doing what I am doing, and having the political views that I currently do. Nonetheless, be it due to destiny, or a series of life altering events, here I am. 
I’m speechless. Twenty million Americans out of work and this president plans on making a speech. Another boring, meaningless speech? As far as I’m concerned, he can speak to the hand.
Talk about paranoia, the left is coming unhinged. Ninety nine (99%) percent of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) (Allen West being the sole holdout and threatening to quit the CBC) is so petrified by the Tea Party movement in this country, that they are resorting to reverse racism and inflaming rhetoric. One member of the CBC even shouted that the Tea Party wanted to see blacks as 2nd class citizens and hanging from trees. Representative Maxine Waters of the CBC, told the Tea Party to go to Hell! How desperate can the CBC get? We know there are many fine black people in America. Hopefully, the CBC does not speak for them.
