So yesterday Obama gave a one-on-one talk on CBS news about his economic plan.

And here is the core of it: payroll savings will be reduced 2% and since there are 100 million in the workforce, this will allow a 2% increase in hiring, immediately, and will put 2 million people to work. (His economic advisors, in order to make it seem like they had made separate calculations and had come to almost the same conclusion, guess 1.9 million.)

So…. here is how it is supposed to work. A firm reduces its payroll taxes payment by 2%. Then, the hiring starts…

What’s behind Dowd’s thinking?

Unquestionably, most Democrats have a gift for effective political speech. Only liberal Democrats are capable of making their ruinous policies sound like genius ideas created by majestic celestial beings. The Democrats’ one-of-a-kind ability to attractively present their poisonous policies is outrageously underrated by Republicans, who have done very little to improve their own ability to package and present their clearly superior political product.

As a consequence of gross Republican inarticulateness, the Democrats have triumphed in the battle of making membership in their party an integral part of black identity, so much so that blackness in America no longer has much to do with skin color, culture, or even the unique African-American experience of historical discrimination. Being black in America today has turned into a political status that can be blithely bestowed on a person like Bill Clinton, despite his whiteness and racist ties, and can be nonchalantly revoked from someone like Allen West, who is black in the truest American context. Manifestly, in order to maintain black validity in American society today, being a card-carrying member of the Democratic Party is a fixed obligation.

Anyone watching Sunday’s women’s final at the U.S. Open tennis tournament was treated to an appalling display of temper on the part of Serena Williams. At the beginning of the second set, Williams was judged to have hindered her opponent by shouting “come on” in the course of play. The point, and, as it turned out, the game, was awarded to Williams’s opponent, Samantha Stosur, who went on to win the match quite convincingly.

Not willing to leave well enough alone, Williams badgered the chair umpire, Eva Asderaki, during changeovers for what seemed like the rest of the match with remarks like, “Aren’t you the one who screwed me over last time?” (apparently referring to her 2009 match versus Kim Clijsters at Doha, but at which Asderaki did not umpire). “I promise you that’s not cool,” she pouted. “That’s totally not cool. I totally despise you.” When Asderaki turned toward her during the exchange, Williams yelled, “Don’t look at me. Don’t even look at me.” “You’re a hater and you’re just unattractive inside,” she added, perhaps suggesting broader feelings of victimhood.

With all due respect to the victims and their family members who have suffered the assault on America ten years ago on September 11th, I offer my condolences.

To the hypocritic chancroids who have used this evil tragedy to hijack our government to advance their Socialist agenda, I offer my disdain, and disgust with the leaders of this nation who have surrendered our heritage to the global slave masters.

American’s need to wake up and decide which side of history they want to ride on.

Regarding the situation in which we find ourselves, no one should be surprised. Obama never shared the experience and values of ordinary Americans.

Obama, his mentors and acolytes seek not a strong, prosperous and free America, but a weak, fragmented, subservient and pitiful remnant as his testament to and trophy of the last gasp of Western democracy.

And the entire American political establishment is helping him do it.

From an Israeli point of view, Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen is the ideal American politician. Although many in the US government aspire to her level of commitment to Israel, few can measure up to a dedication that extends beyond the very interests of her own country.

“Lawless extremists infest Congress like crabgrass besets lawns. House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairwoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R. FL) is one of the worst,” wrote US columnist Stephen Lendman on September 1.

Ros-Lehtinen’s resume is a distressing read. The congresswoman “endorses US imperial wars, police state laws, corporate empowerment, tax cuts for the rich, laying waste to Libya, perhaps a second Bay of Pigs, and Israeli lawlessness, while, at the same, opposing Palestinian statehood,” according to Lendman.
