General President James P. Hoffa
International Brotherhood of Teamsters
25 Louisiana Avenue, N.W.
Washington, D.C. 20001

Mr. Hoffa,
Within the past week I became aware of some comments that you made that, quite honestly, upset me. Although your comments disturbed me, I had intended to let them slide, that is until I read something Glenn Beck had said. Although I am not a fan of Glenn Beck, he stated, “If not you…WHO? If not now…WHEN?” Mr. Beck’s comments motivated me to write to you regarding your comments.

In regards to the Tea Party, you are on record as saying, “President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march… Everybody here’s got a vote…Let’s take these sons of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong…” It was always my belief that the Teamsters were a labor union, not a band of mercenaries to be used to help further the socialist agenda of a sitting president.

I do not know exactly what it is about the Tea Party that caused you to make such inflammatory comments, but I sir, do not appreciate it one bit!

I am not an active member of the Tea Party as I believe that they have been infiltrated and hijacked by neoconservative Republicans. However, at the heart of the Tea Party movement is the belief that our government has grown too big, too fiscally irresponsible, and poses a threat to the rights of the people, and to the future of this once great nation. So, although I am not an active member of any Tea Party group, these are beliefs that I share with them.

Therefore, if the Tea Party, and their belief of limited government, bothers you, then allow me to quote Rep. Maxine Waters by saying that you “can go straight to hell.”

You said we are in a war; well the Tea Party did not declare war upon you, or the Teamsters. Instead it was you yourself who fired the opening salvo with your inflammatory comment. However, if it is a war you want, BRING IT ON!

I do not think you understand the nature of the people you wish to ‘take out’. We are not afraid of veiled threats from organizations who feel threatened by our existence. I don’t believe you have any idea of who we are, what we believe in, and how far we will go to defend our beliefs.

Before opening your yap again you may wish to weigh your words a bit more carefully. You see, I am a Teamster, and I know quite a few of my fellow brother Teamsters who share my opinion. If it is a war you want, you may find out that you have quite a few Benedict Arnold’s amongst your so called army.

Food for thought…

Neal…I don’t believe you have any idea how right on the mark YOU are!!! Union leaders/mouthpieces (and other lefties) think the uprising of grassroots America is made up of mealy-mouthed, weak-kneed, lily-livered folks who will break down under union threats, thuggery and violence.

They are wrong. They are completely unaware of the increasing number of people who have been researching and studying the Constitution, paying closer attention to the antics, double-speak and oath-breaking of the politicians, coming to an honest and heart-rending awakening to the “wrongness” of our government, the absolute necessity of taking the bull by the horns to turn things around…now, and letting NOTHING stop us.

They will be not-so-pleasantly surprised to learn that there is a Tea PartyConservative/Patriot “subgroup” of increasing and unknown numbers, of all ages, both genders, a variety of occupations, and many races and religions…..silently preparing…..for anything.
