As the Arab Spring continues to challenge dictators, demolish old structures and ponder roadmaps for a better future, the US remains committed to its failed policies, misconceptions and selfish interests.
Arabs may disagree on many things, but few disagree on the fact that there is now no turning back. The age of the dictator, the Mubaraks and Ben Alis is fading.
The 11th Circuit in Atlanta, an Appeals Level Court, said last Friday Obamacare is unconstitutional. Well DUH. One needs only the ability to read, not a law degree, to know it is unconstitutional ON ITS FACE. Sixth grade comprehension skills, sorely missing in the Obama Administration, marks this outcome as obvious. Only a corrupt judiciary helping to implement the NWO could find otherwise and has not, so far, thank goodness.

“Common experience shows how much rarer is moral courage than physical bravery. A thousand men will march to the mouth of the cannon where one man will dare espouse an unpopular cause “ – Clarence Darrow
William Ockham died in 1349. He was an English logician who gave the world the maxim“Entities should not be multiplied unnecessarily.” He further amplified this in his writings. He said “It is futile to do with more things that which can be done with fewer.” The term “Ockham’s Razor” has been used for centuries by scholars as the logical solution for complex problems. The dictionary defines “Ockham’s Razor” as: A rule of science and philosophy stating that entities should not be multiplied needlessly, which is interpreted to mean that the simplest of two competing theories is preferable and that an explanation for unknown phenomena should first be attempted by what is already known. In the vernacular of the layman, it is preferable always to use the KISS method. This means simply “keep it simple stupid.”
A new natural food additive, discovered in a laboratory accident, is now ready to slash by half the number of hospitalizations and deaths from food-borne bacterial poisoning across the Western World.
In July, salmonella traced to ground turkey hospitalized 78 people in 26 states and was blamed for one death. Nationwide, such deadly food-borne bacteria as E. coli O157:H7, salmonella, campylobacter and listeria claim an estimated 48 million victims per year, with 128,000 hospitalizations and 3,000 deaths. The bacteria attack even more viciously in countries with cruder defenses.
The so-called Super Committee is a FARCE. It is doomed to failure.
Can anyone reasonably believe there is even the smallest chance that a 12-member committee made up of party loyalist from each side can, somehow, be miraculously overcome by celestial waves of bipartanship? Come on now. Really? Seriously? Naah. Ain’t gonna happen.
“The idea for which this nation stands will not survive if the highest goal free man can set themselves is an amiable mediocrity. Excellence implies striving for the highest standards in every phase of life.” – John W. Gardner
When I leave my home in the morning to go to work I am both physically and mentally prepared to do the job that awaits me. Some days are harder than others, which means that some days I have to work a great deal harder than I do on others. I accept that and am willing to put forth whatever effort is required to get the job done. I take a certain amount of pride in trying to do the best job I possibly can. Yet there are people with whom I work who seem to take great pride in doing the least amount of work possible to make it through the day.
Just to be clear, I am not saying she is dumb.
But why is it Michele Bachmann can’t ever seem to get the most basic facts straight.
Here’s her most recent flub.
On Tuesday in South Carolina, Bachmann took the stage and encouraged the crowd to say happy birthday to Elvis Presley. Happy Birthday!
Of course it was actually the 34th anniversary of Elvis’s death.
Oops. Again.
I guess the big news this morning is that the White House intends to present a specific plan before the first meeting of the supercommittee that reduces the deficit “by much more that its mandate of $1.5 trillion” and includes “new measures to stimulate the lagging economy.”
But I’m not particularly interested in plans. We’ve had plenty of those. I’m interested in process. The Democrats made a puzzling mistake when they didn’t insist that the supercommittee’s mandate included a requirement to put forward proposals to create, say, two million new jobs. Perhaps the Republicans would have said no and allowed the country to default because they opposed even a vague effort to look into job creation measures. But somehow, I doubt it. It was just one more lost opportunity for Democrats to use leverage, rather than speeches, to act on unemployment. They got so wrapped up trying to look more serious about deficit reduction than the Republicans that they forgot they were supposed to be doing something about jobs.
