Cantor: The Worthless Justice Department
A few days ago, I wrote a column concerning the Justice Department and the ACLU both bringing suits against state generated immigration laws, and now lo and behold the Justice Department is at it again in Alabama.
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama — The U.S. Justice Department today filed a lawsuit challenging Alabama’s new immigration law, which is slated to go into effect next month.
In its lawsuit, the Justice Department says Alabama’s law unconstitutionally interferes with the federal government’s authority over immigration.
Justice Department lawyers write in the lawsuit that the department is filing the action “to declare invalid and preliminarily and permanently enjoin the enforcement of various provisions” of the state law, according to the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Birmingham this afternoon. Provisions within the state’s immigration law “are preempted by federal law and therefore violate the Supremacy Clause of the United States Constitution.”
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano stated that “Homeland Security continues to enforce federal immigration laws in Alabama and around the country in smart, effective ways that focus our resources on criminal aliens and employers who knowingly hire illegal labor, as well as continue to secure our border.”
“Legislation like this diverts critical law enforcement resources from the most serious threats to public safety and undermines the vital trust between local jurisdictions and the communities they serve,” Napolitano said. “We continue to support comprehensive reform of our immigration system at the federal level because this challenge cannot be solved by a patchwork of inconsistent state laws.”
There is that word COMPREHENSIVE again she doesn’t know what it means she just thinks it sounds good coming out of her mouth.
To which I reply CACA de TORO!!!!!!
YOU IDIOTS ARE AS USELESS AS BOOBS ON A BULL!
The very reason that several states are enacting anti-immigration laws is because you useless pieces of human feces are not doing the job you are sworn by oath to do.
You clowns bring a law suit, and right behind you comes the ACLU rearing their ugly head screaming discrimination at the top of their voice.
The illegals in this country cost us upwards of $350 Billion dollars a year just in services, bi-lingual education, medical care and incarceration not to mention the crime rate they bring with them, and you idiots are worried about discrimination instead of worrying about what they are doing to our country? Pull your head out of your butt.
Some Mexican high school kids ran a Mexican flag up the pole, some anglo kids took it down, guess who got suspended and sent home, it sure as hell wasn’t the Mexicans.
This is the United States of America, not the United States of Mexico. Legal Immigration is fine, illegal immigration isn’t.
Learn the language, get in line and do it legally, otherwise, carry your sorry butt back to where you came from.
I will be more than happy to show you where there is a plane, a train, or a bus leaving for the border and I will be more than happy to assist you getting on board with a 10DD GI boot in your ass.
WAKE UP AMERICA!!!

I wholeheartedly concur.
But what is the solution?
I love “Federal Observer” and all the contributors that bring forth so much knowledge and information. And I share your angst.
However, I have learned in my career, that if I complain only to my co-workers about a problem, the problem can not/ will not be resolved. Together, we must all speak our concerns to management, who is more inclined to pay attention and take corrective action because we are banded together with solution in hand.
My country is in dire straights, currently, and every day since Obama was elected, there have been thousands of op-eds, articles, blogs, and commentaries on each of the myriad of issues causing our angst. Legitimate? Absolutely!! And the knowledge I have gained is immeasurable.
But how many ways, and how many times need we say that the sun will rise in the morning…or that the moon waxes and wanes every 28 days…or that we are on the highway to hell before we collectively go to management with our solution????
