Neal’s Cynical Side Rears Its Ugly Head Again

According to Rasmussen, which keeps a daily approval ratings poll for the president, a meager 23% of the voters in this country strongly approve of the way Barack Obama is performing as president, while 42% strongly disapprove. The GOP is already licking its chops, hoping for a huge victory in 2012. The GOP, along with the independent voters, many of whom are gearing up for another Ron Paul run for office, all seem to have one goal in mind, get Barack Obama out of office before he can do any more damage to our country.

Maybe I’ve been at this too long, maybe I have just grown cynical, but so what!  So what if we oust Barack Obama in 2012, big deal! I do not want to burst anyone’s bubble, or rain on their parade, but Ron Paul is not going to become our next president. When I say that it has nothing to do with how I personally feel about Ron Paul, I like the guy and I think he has his heart in the right place, but those behind the scenes who run things in D.C. are not going to allow him to get in a position where he could derail their plans for this country.

It’s still a long way off till November 2012 and knows, something may happen to boost Obama’s approval ratings and we find ourselves stuck with him for another 4 years. On the other hand he may end up, as did George H.W. Bush, thrown out after one term. I still have to say, so what! What we will then end up with is another GOP candidate who has carefully been vetted and found to conform to the party platform, liberty and the Constitution be damned!

Currently everyone is focusing their attention upon the budget talks in our nation’s capital, and the president’s request to up the debt ceiling as to prevent our nation from defaulting upon its obligations. House Speaker John Boehner has, supposedly, walked out of talks with the president over a disagreement about raising taxes upon the people of America. Again, I have to say so what! It is all part of a well scripted plan to make us think that the GOP really cares about us, the working people of this country. You watch, my prediction is that they WILL come to an agreement, and the president WILL get his increase in the debt limit.

I know a lot of people don’t believe in the concept of a shadow government, some group of evil men who sit behind the scenes and tell our elected representatives what to do. They see the Democrats and the Republicans as two parties divided upon strict idealistic principles…but are they really? Honestly, when it comes to really critical issues, is there any difference between the two parties?

To kind of go off topic for a moment, suppose you put two voters, one a registered Republican, and the other a registered Democrat, into a room with a television. You turn the TV on to a network station and a show, with decidedly liberal overtones comes on. The Republican may be outraged, and scream at the show for its liberal views. Then, when that show is over another one comes on with a decidedly conservative theme. Of course the tables would turn and the registered Democrat would be up in arms.

Picture these voters as a condensed version of the American people, equally divided along party affiliations. The two shows they watched are representative of the two political parties we have to choose from in elections. If you think about it for a minute, who is to blame for the views, or themes, presented in my two hypothetical TV shows? Is it the actors who were the stars of the shows? What about the screenwriters who wrote the shows, are they to blame for the themes presented? Finally, what about the networks who aired those shows, could they possibly be responsible?

Our entire political process is one huge stage drama, acted out by candidates whose job it is to play a role. Sure, they may disagree on some issues, but on the ones that are important, on the ones that are at fault for our nation’s decline, they are in complete agreement. It is a lot like the phony wrestling you see on TV, the WWF. On TV they hate each other’s guts, but behind the scenes they are all good buddies. To top it all off, we have the network news agencies, who are much like the ring announcers at these wrestling spectacles in that their broadcasts are designed to provide support for one candidate, while taking it away from another. If they were truly fair and balanced, as FAUX News claims to be, each candidate would get equal air time, and EQUAL RESPECT from the anchors.

If you believe in the political process, believe that you have a say in how our country is run, just because you can still go to the polls and fill out a piece of paper, or punch some buttons, selecting the candidate of your choice, you have still got a lot to learn.

George Carlin was right when he said, “Forget the politicians. They are irrelevant. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don’t. You have no choice! You have OWNERS! They OWN YOU. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought, and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, the city halls, they got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies, so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear.

Before he left office in 1917, U.S. Congressman (D), Oscar Callaway, stated “In March, 1915, the J.P. Morgan interests, the steel, shipbuilding, and powder interest, and their subsidiary organizations, got together 12 men high up in the newspaper world and employed them to select the most influential newspapers in the United States and sufficient number of them to control generally the policy of the daily press. … They found it was only necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the greatest papers. An agreement was reached; the policy of the papers was bought, to be paid for by the month; an editor was furnished for each paper to properly supervise and edit information regarding the questions of preparedness, militarism, financial policies, and other things of national and international nature considered vital to the interests of the purchasers.

In 1991, at a meeting of the Trilateral Commission, David Rockefeller said, “We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the work is now much more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.

These people are the ones both Carlin, and I speak of, your OWNERS. Even former president Franklin D. Roosevelt admitted that our government was OWNED by these people. In a 1933 letter, Roosevelt stated, “The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the larger centers has owned the Government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson.

Groups like the CFR, (Council on Foreign Relations), have people in high places in the government, the media, and in our educational institutions, who dictate what we are told, what we are taught, and more importantly, decide what policies and actions our government will take that will benefit THEM, and THEM only.

In 1838, founder of the Rothschild banking dynasty Amsel Rothschild stated, “Let me issue and control a Nation’s money and I care not who makes its laws.” They control our government by its purse strings, and by the debt we, as individuals, have accumulated. They don’t care if abortion is legal, or if it isn’t. They only care that our nation continues to borrow money, to stay in perpetual debt…TO THEM!

These are the people who pick and choose which candidates get the approval to win party nominations. They are the ones who tell the media who to support and who to denounce. They are the ones who choose who is going to be our next president, NOT US.

Even those of you who are still steadfast supporters of Barack Obama, have you ever stopped to ask yourself how an absolute nobody, who had no record of achieving anything of significance, suddenly rose from being a rookie Senator to the office of President of the United States. What about a certain Governor from Georgia named Jimmy Carter, ever wonder how he came from out of nowhere to become president? It was because these people were hand selected, and they were willing to go along with the plans of those behind the scenes who really run things in this country.

So, I’m not getting my hopes up for the 2012 election. Those behind the scenes will make sure that they retain enough control over Congress so as not to steer their plans off course. They will ensure that the candidate THEY want gets into the White House. Sure, we may pick up a few Tea Party seats here and there, just enough to, as Carlin said, give us the illusion that we have a choice. But in truth, we don’t have a choice at all. The whole thing is scripted, and the majority of the candidates we are presented with are mere actors, whose loyalty is not to us. Some of them are leading actors, while others play mere supporting roles, but they are all actors, and they all do what the scriptwriters tell them to. They don’t care about their oath to uphold the Constitution, they probably have never taken the time to read it.

I know some people don’t want to hear this kind of stuff, but it is how I see things. People need something to cling to, some kind of hope that there is a chance to bring our country back from the edge of the abyss, so to speak. Me, I don’t see any rays of light in the future. I’m putting my hope upon a higher goal, that of eternal salvation through Jesus Christ. Because the way I see it, this country is damned.

Well AMEN to your final paragraph! It IS too late for this country. And quite frankly, after clearing God out of every aspect of public life, out of schools and out of government, we deserve to fall. The only reason we prospered in the first place was because we were a Christian nation. Let the Godless reap what they’ve sown.

You hit the nail squarely on the head.

I was told that I am not cynical, just pragmatic. I think it’s equal parts both.

Well written Neal. You are right. That is why I quit voting years ago. The lesser of two evils is still evil. We never get good choices in the major elections because the candidates are “hand picked” by the “men in the shadows”. I can still hear the music Jeff used to play on WWCR in my head.
The only future is Jesus and this country is hopeless.
