THE REALITY:
It took over 150 years for the colonials to be done with England and it took a revolutionary war to undo the “system” England put in place. Almost every day we keep asking, how do we unravel the complex, complicated and convoluted American “system” that has evolved over the last 80 to 100 years, that affects every aspect of our daily lives? Think of all the social and environmental laws that have been passed in the last 80 years. Think of the Supreme Court decisions, federal and state, that fly in the face of literal constitutional interpretations. Think of the millions of bureaucratic rules, at every level of government, that have been promulgated and have the force of law.

One of the hardest truths to accept is that for most sources of pain hitting humans there seems to be nothing effective for government to do. Nowadays, those of us who do not gobble various distractions but work to stay connected to reality see two dreadful conditions. Nature seems mad as hell. People are dying or suffering from earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, tornadoes, wildfires, hurricanes, extreme heat, huge snow storms and more. While some idiots keep trying to deny the reality of global climate change, those of us who have lived a long time see firsthand that killer weather events are more prevalent than ever.

CHURCHVILLE, VA—This week’s headlines: Another huge, awful outbreak of food-borne bacteria. This time the worst, so far, in modern history; perhaps 2000 sickened, and about 20 dead. At least 500 cases of hemolytic uremic syndrome.. That means liver damage—and potential death from kidney failure. More than 1000 cases of severe diarrhea. Usually it is the very young and the elderly who are most at risk of serious consequences, but this outbreak targeted young adults, mostly women.

All the known cases involved people who recently ate food in northern Germany—but scientists can’t find the source of the infections. They seldom can. The deadly bacteria appear without warning, and usually disappear before they can be traced.

UNLIKE what happens to other great battles, the passing of the years and the retelling of the story have softened the horror of Omaha Beach on D Day.

This fluke of history is doubly ironic since no other decisive battle has ever been so thoroughly reported for the official record. While the troops were still fighting in Normandy, what had happened to each unit in the landing had become known through the eyewitness testimony of all survivors. It was this research by the field historians which first determined where each company had hit the beach and by what route it had moved inland. Owing to the fact that every unit save one had been mislanded, it took this work to show the troops where they had fought.

My epiphany happened today, actually this afternoon during a meeting with an adversary. I have the tire tracks from the bus to prove it. I had hoped that this person would be an ally but it was not to be. Try as they might, my supporters could not save me or pull me from the path of that bus. In their defense there was nothing they could do except to sacrifice themselves on my behalf. I could not ask and did not expect it.

You gotta respect Donald Trump or at least thank him for doing what no one else has and bring this to a head. Finally, someone in the mainstream is saying the things that need to be said about Obama’s fake nativity story. To clear up a lot of confusion, [within] is an image of EXACTLY the document that Obama needs to produce.

[Within this article] is the birth certificate of Susan Nordyke, one of a set of twins who were born at the Kapiolani Hospital in Honolulu on August 5, 1961. Obama CLAIMS to have been born on August 6th. Therefore, this certificate form is EXACTLY THE SAME as what would have been generated for Obama. 

I find it amusing that, as outspoken as I am, people have actually said that to me. I realize that in most cases people are being sarcastic, but they would be surprised to know that there actually are some things that I have felt it prudent to just keep to myself. But, seeing as how many people already think I am off my rocker, I may as well say what’s really on my mind.
