Admiral Mullen responded to the administration’s call for reducing the DoD budget by $400 billion by FY2023, saying that it will force the DoD to find ways to cut the cost of pay and benefits for servicemembers – active, reserve, and retirees. Mullen told reporters, “we have to put initiatives in place in the mid-term that would start to generate cash in the out years. Two of the big places the money is, is in pay and benefits.”

On 17 August, 2009 I wrote a column exposing Obama’s idea for wanting the troops to carry their own insurance to cover their combat injuries and the fact that retired four star general Eric Shinseki who was Secretary of Veterans Affairs didn’t seem to have any objections but blew it off by saying: “it was just a consideration as a way to increase revenue as part of next year’s budget, but no decision has been made yet.”

Obama complained at the time saying: “Look it is an all volunteer force and nobody made these guys go to war, they had to have known and accepted the risk. Now they are whining about bearing the cost of their choice? It doesn’t compute.”

“I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country, I wasn’t asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I’d have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the Nations deficit. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans.”

Now his administration with the help of a four star Navy Jerk who, at present is serving as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates (another jerk who doesn’t care about the troops) is trying to sock it to us again by wanting to cut the pay rates of service members and retirees as well as increase the premiums on Tri-Care medical insurance for retirees up to $520.00 per year.

The military are not the only ones being screwed by you bums, what about the COLA that we didn’t get in our Social Security Checks for 2 years soon to be three years?

I will bet money you bums got your COLA.

Before you worthless, brazen snakes tell us how much you are going to cut our pay and benefits, you put it in writing for the whole country to see, how much of a cut in pay and benefits you are going to give yourself.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander and if you political elites want a 10DD GI boot in your collective butts, you just try to pull this off.

As I said in a previous column a few days ago, you would have a better chance of sandpapering a wildcat’s butt in a telephone booth without getting scratched.

It boggles the mind to think you people are stupid enough to believe you can do this to the American people without suffering major repercussions.

If you are trying to start another American Revolution, you are coming pretty damned close.

Question: Why should we defend this country with our lives and our blood, and then let you political elites use and abuse us in such a fashion and then think for one moment that we will just stand still for it and do nothing?

A man who is armed, is a citizen, a man who is unarmed is a subject.

A revolution was fought so that we could be CITIZENS not subjects.

Are you really that stupid? I guess you must be!

Before you cut military pay and benefits, cut your own pay and benefits, and I mean significantly not just some pittance but real meaningful cuts.
