Massive economic inequality is killing America and we the people. It has already killed American democracy. The rich have captured the political system so they could manipulate the economy and benefit unfairly. Economic freedom and opportunity are gone. Greed among the top one percent has succeeded so well that a true uprising and revolt by Americans, like that seen in Egypt, may be needed to restore America.

For more than half a century, Helen Thomas owned the most valuable piece of real estate in the White House briefing room. Her front-row seat at presidential press conferences and its attendant benefits—she was often called on first and usually ended the gatherings with a signature “Thank you, Mr. President”—made her the unofficial dean of the White House press corps. Her bold, irksome questions were like hot pokers to 10 U.S. presidents, and her fearless approach rattled press secretaries and set a tone for generations of straight-shooting, badgering reporters.

Look at what Europe doing now, to address its energy, economic and employment woes

President Obama and environmentalists often say America should follow Europe’s lead on energy, climate and economic matters.

Recent events suggest that we should listen more attentively to the Europeans.

Palestinian citizens of Israel must have been proud of the fact that their collective tenacity always proved stronger than any Israeli attempt at dislocating them from their rightful historical narrative. Now, they are being told to cease and desist from commemorating al-Nakba, the Catastrophe of 1948, which saw the brutal seizure and depopulation of most of Palestine in order to construct the Israeli ‘miracle’.

Episode 14 of 2 1/2 Men includes a skit where Charlie has spent so much money gambling, boozing and whoring that he ran out. Charlie’s income is primarily derived from royalties on jingles he sells commercially, but he is told that the next royalty check he is due won’t be arriving for two months.

Charlie and Allen then go to Charlie’s accountant who tells Charlie he is temporarily broke. Charlie doesn’t get it. He keeps asking, “But where is my money“?

Well, it happened once again. Today at lunch Human Resources informed me that something I had written had offended someone. You know what I have to say about that? Tough shit! Honestly, tough shit, I don’t really care. You know why? I don’t care because I have neither insulted nor denigrated anyone in the things I write.

It should come as no surprise to anyone with even a modicum of intelligence, that liberals have the upper hand and we gave it to them of our own volition. You see they bought off almost every segment of the American society with handouts from your money and they have been doing it for over eight decades.

The US government lies. Sure looks like most Americans gobble up false and misleading information that is nothing less than political propaganda. Take the highly hyped unemployment number for March, 2011 of 8.8 percent that moved like a tornado through the media and was praised by Democrat politicians and the White House. As if that number is accurate, as if it fairly describes unemployment. It does not. What is called by experts, such as Leo Hindery, as the real unemployment number was actually 17.7 percent, which is remarkably higher. To appreciate that much higher number is to throw a large bucket of cold water on all the political spin on the economic recovery.

The Usurper in Chief has spent the better part of two years blaming everyone from George W. Bush to the Man in the Bloody Moon for everything that has gone haywire in his administration.

This evening I heard him say that the country expects Him, Harry Reid and John Boehner to act like grownups and get the budget deal solved to avoid a shutdown of the government.
