All week long President Obama has been in semi seclusion as media pundits had been asking, where’s Waldo?

Where is Mr. No Where’s Man?

Is our most capricious president doing what he likes to do best … bug out?

So, once again the United States, like an obedient puppy dog, is using its military to enforce a United Nations resolution upon another sovereign nation. When it comes to sending our troops off to war, is this country capable of electing a president who is willing to abide by the Constitution by not sending a single U.S. serviceman off to war without a clear cut declaration of war by Congress? Or, have we become, as many have been saying, part of a New World Order, with our military to be used at the discretion of the United Nations to restore and maintain peace across the planet?

The global boycott movement (BDS) and other related campaigns were aimed at exposing Israeli transgressions against the Palestinian people and galvanizing international solidarity. What is so uplifting to see now is how their achievements have far surpassed these initial aims. The campaigns have animated, accentuated and actually legitimized Palestinian civil society – a notion that long stood outside the official paradigm acceptable to Israel, and which had very little space within the restrictive realm of the Palestinian Authority (PA).

In March, 2010, SPLC issued a report entitled “Rage on the Right: The Year in Hate and Extremism,” in which groups opposed to issues like the Obama health care plan and illegal immigration were lumped with white supremacist groups like the National Socialist Movement and Skin Heads.

Isn’t it about time that the mainstream media and all others begin to examine the record and conclude that a Communist holds the reins of power in the White House?

Since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, it is often believed that Communism died with it. Not so, Communism is alive and well in China, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela.

The air over northeastern Japan is slightly radioactive—not at dangerous levels for people, but an indicator that higher levels might come. The newspapers in Japan and here are talking earnestly about failures in pressure vessels and falsified safety reporting, as they should.

But now, a slightly hysterical Surgeon General of the United States is recommending that millions of U.S. residents buy iodide crystals to ward off potential thyroid cancer—from a nuclear event thousands miles away. Four thousand people were on the site of the nuclear accident at Chernobyl in 1986; nine have died from thyroid cancer exposure. 

Americans don’t use their heads any longer. As a bunch they have a herd mentality, don’t think for themselves, they have tossed out any rationality they may have had. Case in point is the recent / ongoing panic run on KI (potassium iodide).

Let’s step back and put a little rationality into this mad dash, black Friday mentality which has swept the nation.

Awhile back I wrote a short commentary entitled It Seems I Have Issues. Someone at work read it, then made copies of it and left them on all the tables in the lunchroom/cafeteria. They also went so far as posting a copy on the bulletin board as well. Apparently, something I said in that commentary offended someone, because that person complained to human resources and the article was taken down from the bulletin board because it was too “incendiary.”

The mark of a true leader is one who makes rapid decisions when events are unfolding for which there was no plan. It is more than evident that Obama is out of his element and is incapable of making the necessary decisions to protect American interests, much less foster an agenda that is in keeping with American sovereignty and values of individual freedom and liberty. While Rome burns, Obama is giving speeches, predicting basketball scores and golfing. The words that come to mind are “apathetic”, “detached” and “pathetic”. If anyone was truly looking, his poll numbers should be falling like a rock if it wasn’t for a news media that no longer prints the truth.
