As the reality of ObamaCare comes to fruition, we hear of more Physicians leaving the profession. What follows is the story of one such disgruntled doctor… (Ed.)
A gynecologist had become fed up with malpractice insurance and HMO paperwork, and was burned out. Hoping to try another career where skillful hands would be beneficial, he decided to become a mechanic. He went to the local technical college, signed up for evening classes, attended diligently, and learned all he could.

Almost from its beginning, Islam has been a religion divided by warring camps. The tragedy of Islam is that Muslims are far more likely to die at the hands of their co-religionists than by those outside their faith. All religions have their sects and divisions, but Islam’s history is particularly defined by the violence that began shortly after the death of its founder, Mohammed.
A few days ago I wrote a column entitled “Oil Prices Will go Sky High,” and I daresay I wasn’t far off the mark.
Mubarak’s refusal to vacate his office and get out of town and the uncertainty about what will be, is already causing global rumblings in as much as oil and food prices are already beginning to rise, and there is no way to tell just how long it will last.
The Patriot Act must be repealed. It allows the total invasion of privacy into every aspect of a person’s personal life. It allows a person to be arrested without specific charge, taken to any location, and held incommunicado indefinitely without the benefit of legal counsel. To make matters worse, the most odious aspects of the act that were supposed to sunset are now being made permanent.
There should be no doubt in our nations leaders minds about the precepts of our nations formation of a government of the people, by the people, for the people, but our leaders abrogate their responsibility, and remain ideologically confused.
We have a dichotomy in idealism by an over burdening, and corrupt body of public servants who fail to live up to their responsibilities to the people, and new ideas by the reform movement of new members of Congress, who want to save the country before our economy collapses.

Here is one learned opinion of a wise man of the inner circles.
I have found that his numerous explications, assessments, debates, arguments, show he is not tied down with narrow assumptions, based on speculation, nor is he befuddled with personal or national prejudices. He bases his thoughts on reality….on well grounded experience and a balanced good judgment, a rather rare quality in many elites. Hopefully Washington will pay attention to his sage words. The writer makes sense. But sense is not what Washington is famous for. As I am glued to cable stations showing the street battles in Egypt all I keep thinking about is how Egyptians have mustered the courage to fight their government’s tyranny while Americans remain unready to revolt against the peculiar American brand of tyranny.
Of course, the dictatorship in Egypt is far different than what the vast majority of Americans face. Despite liberty and freedom, our tyranny exists within an electoral, constitutional republic. But with a two-party plutocracy thoroughly corrupted by corporate and wealthy interests most Americans are victims of a dysfunctional, inefficient and unfair democracy.

For one NOT to believe that Iran is behind the fall of the Mubarak government in Egypt requires a “head in the sand” detachment that I fail to grasp.
