Cantor: Get It Right Or Else!

According to Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, failure to raise our debt limit (yet again) would lead to financial disaster.

This is really the guy I want advice from on matters financial (someone who can’t even be straight up about his own personal taxes).

Dictatorial new Delaware vehicle rules impose California rules, for no environmental gain

Attention Delaware drivers. Effective with model year 2014, all new vehicles sold in Delaware shall comply with California emissions standards. Delaware standards are no longer sufficient. New “green” standards make First State emission rules more stringent than even Federal regulations.

Thus spoke Delaware Secretary of Natural Resource and Environmental Control Colin O’Mara, in issuing his December 11, 2010 Order No. 2010-A-0039, amending Title 7 of the Delaware Administrative Code.

Caruba: Apocalypse Not!

There is no religion, past or present, that has not generated an End Times prediction. As the year 2011 begins, you can be sure that the media will begin to fill up with articles about the Mayan calendar prediction that the world will end on December 12, 2012.

There are two very good reasons to ignore this prediction. The first is that the Earth is 4.5 billion years old! The second is that the Maya civilization no longer exists, having achieved its peak around 900 A.D. and was in decline thereafter until the arrival of Spanish conquistadores in the late-1500s finished it off.

Ross: Are We Free Or A Bunch Of Limp-Dicked Pussies?

“You have rights antecedent to all earthly governments: rights that cannot be repealed or restrained by human laws; rights derived from the Great Legislator of the universe.”

The above quote was the opinion of John Adams, as well as a good majority of the men who wrote the documents which outline our system of government. The Declaration of Independence states that our rights are unalienable, and that governments are instituted to secure those rights. According to the dictionary, secure is defines as, “well guarded and fortified; safe, especially against attack or theft.”

Dickens: Nineteen Eighty-Four… Again…

California’s Supreme Court just allowed the search of cell phones as personal property and without a warrant. This happened recently in a case involving a drug purchase from a police plant which caused the arresting officers to search the text message file of the detainee’s cell phone. This was taken to the Supreme Court in the People’s Republic of California (PRoC) who allowed the search as legal. It turns out that the person arrested was involved in another drug related deal so this was added to his list of crimes. The PRoC sees this as absolutely legal. This sets an unbelievable precedent for the rest of us.

“They? Who the hell is ‘They’?”

The Wild Bunch, Warner Bros., 1969

Pike Bishop: “They set it up.”

Lyle Gorch: “They”? Who in the hell is “they?”

Sykes: [laughs hysterically] “They”? Why, ‘they’ is the plain and fancy ‘they’, that’s who “they” is! Caught you, didn’t they? Tied a tin can to your tail. Led you in and waltzed you out again. Oh my, what a bunch! Big tough ones, huh? Here you are with a handful of holes, a thumb up your ass, and a big grin to pass the time of day with. They? Who the hell is “they?”

….in other words, make sure you get their names while its happening to you, so when the time comes, you don’t have to keep hunting for them the rest of your life…

There should be more than birds dropping in Arkansas

Chancellor’s crocodile tears for illegals, what about ill-served citizen students??

All citizens should let their state & local administrations, faculties, etc. hear from them regarding preferential treatment for illegal aliens and the deliberate dumb-down of citizen students.

Sorchych: My View

The Arizona Republic loses no opportunity to praise illegal aliens, which they incorrectly call “migrants.” To that end, on Dec. 12, they published a special report called, “Global Immigration.”

The 16-page report was co-authored by the chief illegal alien propagandist and illegal alien apologist, Daniel Gonzalez. Perhaps to lend credibility, old hand Dan Nowicki was the co-author.

The more things change…

For decades things have been deteriorating in our once great Republic.

The people have called their elected representatives to express their discontent, and the people have been ignored.

The people have written countless letters to express their discontent, and their letters have been ignored.

The people have voted for one party and then the other party in hope for positive change, but regardless of the party in power, nothing changed.

The people have had demonstration after demonstration to demonstrate their discontent, but those in power ignored us.

The people developed an alternative media, written and audio to express their discontent, still nothing has changed.

One definition of insanity is to keep doing the same old thing over and over always expecting a different result.
