Cantor: Get It Right Or Else!
According to Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, failure to raise our debt limit (yet again) would lead to financial disaster.
This is really the guy I want advice from on matters financial (someone who can’t even be straight up about his own personal taxes).
Cheat on your taxes and you too may rise to a Cabinet position in the government.
If you people who are newly elected to congress pass this debt limit increase, there had better be substantial cuts in spending to go along with it or your days will be numbered, as you folks only have two years to show us that you mean to clean up this mess, our you will get a pink slip too.
The new Speaker of the House John Boehner issued a statement saying, “The American people will not stand for such an increase unless it is accompanied by meaningful action by the president and Congress to cut spending and end the job-killing spending binge in Washington.”
Let us see if he, as well as the administration really means it.
We as a nation cannot default on our debts, but we cannot continue to recklessly borrow more money, sooner or later the loan shark will want his money (PLUS THE VIGORISH) and just as with any loan shark, if you don’t pay up there will be some pretty severe consequences.
NEWS FLASH, the party is over, high living and out of control spending can no longer be the order of business, significant pay cuts across the board for all government workers (with the exception of the military they really earn theirs) should be a starting place.
The idea that you clowns in congress and the senate earn $180K per year and only work approximately 93 days a year just frosts my toches.
The only thing we get as the song goes is “Another year older and deeper in debt and we owe our soul to the company store,” and through no fault of our own I might add, well that is not altogether true, some people were dumb enough to swallow that line of CACA de TORO and voted for the current administration.
Some clown from the Treasury Department, speaking on condition of anonymity said “there is a long history of these things kicking up a fair amount of dust and noise, but in the end cooler heads prevail and RESPONSIBILITY wins out and the debt limit is always increased.”
I think RESONSIBILITY is a damn poor choice of words whoever the idiot was who made that statement.
Let’s get back to that word VIGORISH (in Yiddish it means excessive interest), at the current rate our monthly vigorish is right at $21 Billion PER MONTH!!!
MESSAGE TO TEA PARTY FOLKS AS WELL AS ALL STRIPES OF CONSERVATIVES AND ANY AND ALL AMERICANS WHO ARE TIRED OF THE S.O.S.D.D. (SAME OLD S@@T DIFFERENT DAY),
KEEP THE PRESSURE ON THESE PEOPLE IN WASHINGTON OR THEY WILL GO BACK TO BUSINESS AS USUAL.
WAKE UP AMERICA!!!
