Publisher’s NOTE: In July of 2008, a column was submitted to the Federal Observer for publication, The day my faith in America and Americans… Was Brutally Beaten and Left for Dead by its author, Ed Lewis. Nearly two and one-half years have gone by, and there is something so troublesome in the united States of America, that once again, Mr. Lewis has taken upi the pen. Ed is the type of American, who will not give up fighting until his last breath, and with these owrds, I hope that even long after he is gone – his words will reach out to someone – somewhere in America – to remind them of what it was that we fought so hard to hold on to.
Read Ed Lewis’ original column (link above), then continue on, or read it later – but READ it.
Thanks Ed. I’ll see you at Sundown.

As long as the head of the TSA, Long Dong Silver, refuses to get rid of the intrusive, possibly dangerous airport searches, how about requiring members of Congress to go through the same security screening in order to enter hallowed congressional office buildings?
Not just Barney Frank – I mean all members of Congress. “We’ve patted you down twice, Congressman Frank. Why don’t you just go to your office now?”
I am certain that there are those who are tired of my relentless preaching about rights and liberty. I am sure, especially on a day like Thanksgiving, that they are asking themselves if I will ever cease, ever tire.
Today, of all days, is the day when I celebrate the fact that I am STILL allowed to voice my opinion to whomever is willing to listen. No matter if my words are read by only a few, or disregarded altogether, I still have the right to speak my mind, and of that I am thankful.
History has shown that the greatest danger to most nations, movements and organizations has always been from within, rarely from without. Oh, there are often cases when the finishing touches are given by some outsiders, such as the sacking of Rome but the decay has always been at work for decades, even centuries.
The Middle East policies of US President Barack Obama may well prove the most detrimental in history so far, surpassing even the rightwing policies of President George W. Bush. Even those who warned against the overt optimism which accompanied Obama’s arrival to the White House must now be stunned to see how low the US president will go to appease Israel – all under the dangerous logic of needing to keep the peace process moving forward.
As I’ve reported many times, Sustainable Development affects every aspect of our lives. Yet Americans continue to think of it as simply harmless, helpful environmental conservation. In reality Sustainable Development is a radical political agenda designed to control and change our society to fit into a top-down global governance structure.
Here are two quick examples of Sustainable policy and propaganda that have dire effects on us all.
