Democrat and Republican strategists all vie.
for the “honor of crafting the best camouflaged lie”.
Then point their fingers at America’s youth,
For their “me first values” and contempt for the truth!

“Hurray for ME, to Hell with YOU,
Is not only virulent, it’s “contagious” too!
When truth becomes a “dispensable trait”,
In “example setters” -, influential and “great”,
“trickle down values” and contempt for truth,
Soon “infect values of society’s youth”.

The tongues of lawyers and politicians are forked,
Salivated by lawsuits and political pork.
Legislating and litigating con artists of law,
Leave America’s youth one conclusion to draw.
“The lust for power, greed and hypocrisy,
Are the crucial components of PAC money Democracy”.

“Contempt for the law” grew from the seed,
Of legislated and litigated, larcenous greed!
Winning a case “by hook or crook”,
Or “PAC money crafting the Statute Books,
Sets rotten examples for America’s young,
And “transplants in them” a forked tongue.

Integrity be damned, so all that counts,
Is money, pleasure and power in lavish amounts.
So youth being youth are great imitators,
And thus youth imitate these unethical traitors,
Morals, restraints and ethics are trashed,
In all out quests for power, pleasure and cash.
This juvenile “copy cat” crime wave won’t stop,
Till “Societal Standards improve at the top”!
