As I read the topics on the invasion of the ILLEGALS and the election we are about to have – there is a few places in scripture that teach about how you can empty a house (body) of evil spirits but unless you immediately fill that house (body) with GOOD spirits, the evil spirits will wander around and then return – not alone though as they will bring more with them, worse than the one that was evicted to begin with.

Matthew 12:43-45 (KJV)
43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith , I will return into my house from whence I came out ; and when he is come , he findeth it empty , swept , and garnished . 45 Then goeth he , and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

We see this in the immigration topic when we look back at the number Ike deported and due to the failure of those in government to fulfill their sworn duty to protect and defend America against foreign invaders – leaving our borders wide open – we now have many times MORE foreign INVADERS here and our borders are still not SECURE. It did no good to remove those before as they not only returned but they brought more than 7 times more with them.

We see this also in the thousands of homes that have been foreclosed on and left empty only to be occupied by squatters who have NO RIGHTS to be in those houses but they are due to the failure of those who forced the foreclosure to ensure legal occupants be in the house so as to not have the house damaged and in need of great repairs before it can be sold or rented to a legal occupant.

Another place we see this is in the political theatre. Each election we hear this same old refrain – THROW THE BUMS OUT!!! Some of the *BUMS* do get tossed out – only to be replaced by another just like the one tossed out. It does not good to kick one politician out when you replace him/her with another just like him/her. The Democrats and Republicans have proven to the voters time after time that there is NO DIFFERENCE between them other than their *labels*. I could go back many decades but I will stick to one that most readers have memory of and that is the so called Republican Revolution of 1994. That is so similar to what the case is today with a Democrat occupying the Oval office with strong possibilities of Congress being taken over by the GOP. When Newty GetRich took over the 104the Congress we were told things were going to improve and all that Clinton agenda was going to be stopped. What happened instead was Gingrich pushed far more devastating legislation which was grinningly signed by BJ Clinton than could ever have been passed had the Democrats held control of Congress. It took the combined players of Clinton and Gingrich to pass some of the most horrendous FREEDOM DESTROYING legislation this nation could have ever dreamt of having pass. Can you say NAFTA for starters???

The 104th Congress should be studied by everyone to see how kicking out an evil spirit and NOT replacing it with a GOOD spirit brings in worse things than existed before. By playing into the Brer Rabbit con game – many folks will find that they did exactly what Brer Fox wanted…….

“Brer Rabbit’s ears shivered. “That’s all right, Brer Fox. It’ll hurt something awful, but go ahead and skin me. Scratch out my eyeballs! Tear out my ears by the roots! Cut off my legs! Do what’nsoever you want to do with me, Brer Fox, but please, please, please! Don’t throw me in that briar patch!”

Brer Fox was convinced now that the worst thing he could do to Brer Rabbit was the very thing Brer Rabbit didn’t want him to do. He snatched him off the Tar Baby and wound up his arm like he was trying to throw a fastball past Hank Aaron and chunked that rabbit across the road and smack dab in the middle of the briar patch.

Brer Fox waited. Didn’t hear a thing. He waited a little longer. Still no sound. And just about the time he decided he was rid of Brer Rabbit, just about the time a big grin started to spread across his face, he heard a little giggle.

“Tee-hee! Tee-hee!” And the giggle broke into the loudest laughing you’ve ever heard.

Brer Fox looked up to see Brer Rabbit sitting on top of the hill on the other side of the briar patch.

Brer Rabbit waved. “I was born and raised in the briar patch, Brer Fox! Born and raised in the briar patch!” And he hopped on over the hill and out of sight.”

Newty GetRich was the Brer Fox of the 104th Congress – alongwith BJ Clinton.

I hold little hope for any REAL change, much less improvement, to take place with this election. I’ve been thru so many of them and each one has taken America further down the road of destruction. I believe there is a way to turn things around but that means folks are going to have to do something few have any intention of doing and that is to REPENT and return God to His place of honor in America. The churches are filled with false teachers and leaders who are leading the flock astray so not much hope where it should be. Far too many of today’s preachers have NO clue what the Word of God has to say about what they are doing – they have allowed themselves to become workers of evil, those collection plates (thirty pieces of silver) mean more to them than salvation.

When you cast your vote this election day – will you be casting your vote for The Good Shepherd or for Barabbas?
