It took awhile, but today someone finally asked me what I thought about the Reverend Terry Jones’ plan to burn copies of the Koran this coming Saturday. I guess it really doesn’t make that much of a difference now, as I read on CNN that he stated that he has tentatively cancelled his plans to do so. Whether or not he goes ahead with it is irrelevant, because the question got me started thinking again. And you know what happens when I start thinking, I end up writing something that invariably pisses someone off.

Little did I know at the time my commentary about Chicago-style politics and its influence on the Obama administration would be so prophetic. He shouted about his accomplishments of regulating the banks, wall street and the fat cats, doing as he always does, pitting one class of people against another.

Sometimes when I write I have a clear cut idea as to what I am going to write about. Other times I just begin with a thought and go from there. This time, as I sit here, I have no idea what I am about to say, nor how to say it. I feel as though I am being bombarded by a wide range of emotions. I feel fear, sadness, a hint of depression. But most of all, I feel this overwhelming sense of anger.
When I am at work, the job I do does not really require a great deal of thought. My mind, therefore, is often free to ponder upon all manner of things. Often I spend much of my time coming up with new ideas for articles. Today was no different, until suddenly I had an epiphany, ( a sudden intuitive leap of understanding) . It was as if a thousand watt light bulb suddenly went on in my head, and I realized that I have been wrong about almost everything.
