Can you imagine what the left would have done if: George W. Bush would have sent Pastor John Hagee of San Antonio, Texas on a government paid vacation to Israel? Bush could have told Hagee, “Go to the Holy Land and make the Jewish People feel good about themselves. Remind them of all the positive influence they have had on our Nation and the world.” What would the media have said about the Dept. of Agriculture using money out of their budget to fund a scientific study on the mental health of Pentecostal Christians in the State of Oklahoma?

Does that sound too bizarre or outrageous to even consider? Think again, because things more outrageous than that are happening under the Obama Administration. Our federal government, by an executive order of Barack Obama, has done far more than that. Feisal Abdul Rauf, the famous Imam of the Ground Zero mosque, has gone on a U.S. government subsidized trip to the Middle Eastern countries, such as Saudi Arabia, with the mission of easing the tension between our two civilizations. Our government has no control of what Feisal Abdul Rauf will say or do behind closed doors with the leaders of these Moslem countries, nor do they seem to care. This is the same individual who refuses to recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization, and has been quoted as saying the U.S. is itself to blame for the terrorist attacks on 9 11. Mr. Rauf is also closely associated with Faiz Khan, who preaches that the terrorist attacks on 9 11 were an inside job (backed by the U.S. govt.) and AL Quaida wasn’t involved at all.

NASA Chief, Charles Bolden, has recently revealed that Barack Obama told him when he took office that it should be NASA’s foremost mission to reach out to the Muslim world. Make them (the Muslims) feel good about their historic contributions to science, math and engineering. Mr. Bolden has instructions to use a good deal of NASA’s budget, which has already been cut, to accomplish these goals.

All this is happening while the U.S. deficit has risen over 30% in the less than 20 months that Obama has been in office. Unemployment is stabilized at or near 10%, being much higher than that in some parts of our nation. And we have the cash to fund this kind of nonsense? Considering Obama’s well documented inclination toward Islam, one shouldn’t be surprised.

I recently read a most interesting article published in a Spanish newspaper dated January 15, 2008, written by Sebastian Vilar Rodriqez. The article was titled All European Life Died in Auschwitz. Mr. Rodriqez states that in his opinion a civilization died when 6 million Jews were murdered in concentration camps in Europe during WWII, and then replaced with 20 million Muslims. He writes how Germany destroyed “the Chosen People” who themselves put great value in human life while contributing so much to science, art, and international trade. He goes on to say, “and under the pretense of tolerance, and because we wanted to prove to ourselves that we were cured of the disease of racism, we opened our gates to 20 million Muslims, who brought us stupidity and ignorance, religious extremism and lack of tolerance, crime and poverty, due to an unwillingness to work and support their families with pride.”

A gentleman named Geert Wilders, a member of the Dutch Parliament, gave a much quoted speech in New York in September 2008 describing the effect radical Islam has made in Europe, specifically in his country. Some quotes from his speech are: “All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire neighborhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen. And if they are, they might regret it. This goes for the police as well. It’s a world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents. Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead. You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity. These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics.”

He goes on, “In Amsterdam, gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear, ‘Whore, Whore’ and more.” Mr. Wilders goes on at great length describing how Muslims demand tolerance be shown to them and their narrow views, but give zero tolerance in return. Again quoting Wilders, “Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion. Sure it has a god and a hereafter and 72 virgins. But in its essence Islam is a political ideology. It is a system that lays down detailed rules for society and wants to dictate to every aspect of life.” He quotes Winston Churchill as saying, “Islam is the most retrograde force in the world and the Quran can be compared to Mein Kampf.”

There are a great many myths about Islam perpetrated of late by people like Barack Obama and Feisal Abdul Rauf; the most erroneous of these is that Islam is a religion of tolerance. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Ground Zero Imam and others love to remind us that the vast majority of Muslins are peace loving, law abiding people. Mr. Obama is famous for promoting this same train of thought. The problem is that this silent majority, if it even exists, is exactly that, silent. These good, peace loving Muslims might just as well not exist because they have absolutely no effect on the direction that Islam takes in every society it invades. Islam is a religion of conquest, intolerance and hatred toward all who refuse to join up.

Much has been made of a recent poll in which 20% of Americans think Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim. At the other end of the spectrum people defend him, promising that, indeed, he is a Christian. After all, he was baptized in Jeremiah Wright’s church. I find very little Christian comfort in a man who screams, “God damn America, God damn America,” and other outrageous rhetoric, as does Jeremiah Wright. In my humble opinion is Barack Obama a Christian? The truth is – I don’t know what he is. I’m not real sure he’s an American. He seems to be whatever Barack thinks best suits the situation.

One thing I do think – if, heaven forbid, Mr. Obama is elected a second time, the book he takes the oath on will be the Quran and not the Bible. Outrageous? Maybe you better study up on some of the other things this master of disguise has already implemented.

It’s funny how small things stick in a person’s mind; I distinctly remember how not long after 9 11 federal investigators were tracking down information about the Muslim highjackers and details of their lives leading up to the moment they boarded the airplanes that changed America forever. One of the stories that sticks in my mind was how some of the terrorists were living in an apartment complex in a city where they were attending flight school. Several of their neighbors testified how they remembered the terrorists loved to sit on a balcony over looking the swimming pool, lusting over American girls in their bikinis. Their own religion condemns any public attraction to the opposite sex and yet they would stare and drool over the very flesh that they would soon destroy.

Obama has changed that scenario from stimulating to stimulus; there is that and more to come and it will be financed by American tax dollars. Make no mistake, if Obama and the liberal left succeed in replacing Judeo Christian values with life according to what Obama lovingly calls the holy Quran, you will receive in exchange something far different than even the left ever imagined.

That, in my opinion, will be “Change you can believe in!”
