Dwyer: The Koran Burning Dispute

When I was reading the news about world-wide protests of Muslims against a threat by a Florida church pastor to burn koran on the anniversary of 9-11 attacks, illustrated with pictures of angry Middle-Easterners desecrating and burning our flags, their fists waving in the air, I thought I was Alice in Wonderland. The absurdity of the situation, when these narrow-minded people were already retaliating against us for “atrocities” that we had not committed yet (and, according to their cheerleaders, we had no right to commit although they did this kind of things to us on a regular basis), was mind boggling to the point that it was infuriating. Here come the devoted followers of the “religion of peace”, who not even for a second considered building their new mosque somewhere away from the ground zero, and demand that we give up our God-given Constitutional freedom of expression in order to respect their “sensitivity” while they have our sensitivity in our own country for nothing.

Unmitigated, expansive tribalism in its purest form: give me what’s yours but I will give you nothing in turn. Tough negotiators on behalf of their ethny, religion, and culture that are invading the Western civilization. It may give you an idea of what the world will be like under the Muslim rule.

Relatively rare exceptions not withstanding, the Middle-Easterners haven’t changed much over past 15 hundred years. They must have a stubborn dominant gene that doesn’t allow them to change when they infiltrate the Western civilization. It makes them, as a group, incompatible with the core principles of the American society such as freedom of expression, tolerance, and self-restrain. They are in the middle of what they consider a conquest of the world, spreading Islam by annoying persuasion, by intimidation, and by force. They are not willing to back out of their demands, even when they expect others to give away quite a lot.

We build their nations, they build mosques (with the dollars that we pay at the pump) on our soil to commemorate killings of thousands on the innocent by devoted Muslims. When they follow, literally, the teaching of Islam and kill and destruct in the name of their God, it’s just a “fringe group of extremist” and not the Muslim as a group, who are guilty of wrongdoing. But when a Christian pastor and a handful of his followers are treating with returning some of the “favors” (burning the symbols of admiration, that is) then the entire American nation becomes all the sudden responsible for “attacking” Islam. To make things worse, due to idiotic doctrine (a mind is to precious thing to waste) of our own cognitive elite that insist on teaching the world how to compete with the U.S. in science and technology, the fiercest of them have or are going to have nuclear capability to threaten us with mass destruction if we don’t yield to their demands.

Egoistic, self-centered, assertive, and aggressive political movement, that’s what they are. It’s not quite what the framers of the Bill of Rights understood under the term of “religion” when they drafted First Amendment. Perhaps, we need to tell our elected officials and the justices that they appoint to clarify that.

The notion that we, Americans, should abandon exercising our free speech right in order to not endanger the troops in their peace-keeping and nation-building mission in the Middle East is an oxymoron. Isn’t the main purpose of having military protecting our unconditional freedoms and liberties and not to yield to intimidation of those who disapprove of what we do inside of our own country? Is it our duty to keep our military safe from attacks from religious fanatics or it is the duty of our military to stand up and defend us with decisive force when our nation’s sovereignty is being threaten?

There is so much of blatant double standard here that it begs the question: does our ruling “elite”, many of which are increasingly hostile to this nation, think that we are so stupid that we don’t see their transparent duplicity?

When one burns the American flag, in the U.S. or elsewhere, desecrates subjects of Christian worship, or publishes sensitive military information on a “leaking” website, it’s his God-given First Amendment-confirmed right. But koran burning? No, no, you really cannot do that, and all the Muslims around the world have the right to harm you, never mind burning your flag even before you burned a single koran book, and instruct your government to tell you what to do and what not to in your ostensibly sovereign country, although you have absolutely no right to expect any kind of reciprocity here. And the government does tell you what the Muslims want, urging you to yield to their demands as if it owed allegiance to the Middle East and not to the American nation.

But above all, it’s a failure of the U.S. immigration policy that has been imposed on us in the 1960ties by those hostile to America as we knew her then. We were told, by notorious liars, that the new laws that were passed would not turn upside down our national identity. Something quite opposite happened: many of the most populated parts of the U.S. turned into colonies of unassimilating aliens and resemble more some worst corrupt Third-World countries than America. Now, we are being told that this “demographic change”, although an “unintended consequence” of the mid-1960ties legislation is the best thing that ever happened to America, while our federal government openly refuses to enforce the border and the immigration law. What a Nirvana for all those who can’t wait to expand their nations, religions, and political systems at the expense of ours. And so they do while those who are supposed to defend us are almost ready for a surrender.

Today, hostility of some of our ruling “elite” is visible with a naked eye. The President will side with our assailants, while denying us de facto similar rights that he generously bestows on the rest of the world. The “mainstream” (read: “elite”-controlled) media are on the same bandwidth with the President. Even the so-called “right-wing” media once again show that when it comes to really fundamental issues, they are just a part of Plan B of the social engineers that are stealing our country form us and our posterity. (Plan A is in execution, now.)

In a sense, it’s good that it all happened right in the front of our eyes. Our enemies once again came out of the closet and showed their true colors. Wake up, Americans. We need to make sure that the hostile “elites” that pose as the defenders of the Constitution and freedoms it stands for are removed from their positions of influence and power and, whenever practical, sent to where they or their ancestors came from. We are still the majority in our great country. Tomorrow, we may be no more.
