Ross: You Wanted My Thoughts On Burning The Koran?

It took awhile, but today someone finally asked me what I thought about the Reverend Terry Jones’ plan to burn copies of the Koran this coming Saturday. I guess it really doesn’t make that much of a difference now, as I read on CNN that he stated that he has tentatively cancelled his plans to do so. Whether or not he goes ahead with it is irrelevant, because the question got me started thinking again. And you know what happens when I start thinking, I end up writing something that invariably pisses someone off.

First off let me begin by saying that I don’t know that much about the Reverend Jones, so I can’t really speak in regards to his reasons for choosing this particular anniversary of 9/11 to burn copies of the Koran. Maybe it is because of the sudden attention being paid to the plan to build a mosque at ground zero. What I do know is that the Reverend Jones sure did a good job of getting a whole lot of people all fired up.

Although his right to burn copies of the Koran, or the Bible for that matter, is Constitutionally protected, I don’t see how his doing so is going to make that much of a difference. Sure it might make a powerful political statement, but other than that all it would do is make more Muslims pissed off at us than already are pissed off at us.

However, it is not only the Muslims across the globe that the Reverend seems to have pissed off, it is members of our government as well. On Tuesday Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called his plan a “disrespectful, disgraceful act.”

Excuse me bitch? After the disrespect your husband showed for the office of president, you call burning a copy of the Koran disrespectful and disgraceful? You’ve got to be kidding me?

Besides, where was your outrage when, in 2009, the U.S. military burned copies of the Bible at Bagram AB in Afghanistan because they were afraid that the Afghani’s might think that U.S. servicemen were evangelizing Afghan citizens?

Where was your outrage when, in 2007, Muslims fired rocket propelled grenades into a Christian Church in Gaza, then systematically broke crosses, a statue of Jesus, burnt all prayer books, before proceeding to burn the church to the ground? Hmm, where was your outrage Madam Secretary, you hypocritical bitch!

Then, on Good Morning America, our Commander in Thief said that the Reveren Jones’ plan to burn copies of the Koran “is completely contrary to our values as Americans. This country has been built on the notion of freedom and religious tolerance.” And folks, this is when I start getting mad. So if vulgar language bothers you, do not read any further.

Sometimes I think it would be in Barack Obama’s best interests if he just kept his fucking mouth shut, as sometimes I don’t think he has a damn clue as to what kind of bullshit spews out of it when he speaks.

Tolerance Mr. President? You know, tolerance works both fucking ways. We are told to be tolerant of this, be tolerant of that. When are we going to hear that people need to be tolerant for the things which we hold dear? Huh, answer me that you sack of shit!

How tolerant are we supposed to be? If people had taken the time to learn about the history of their nation they would know that our country was started because people sought religious freedom.

A long, long time ago, Patrick Henry declared, “It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.”

Our Bill of Rights guarantees us freedom of religion. Yet for many of these Muslims, that doesn’t seem to be enough. They not only want to freely practice their faith, they want to stifle anyone else’s ability to do the same. They want to create an Islamic state, complete with Sharia Law, here, within the borders of the United States. Excuse me, but over my dead body.

You know, in Saudi Arabia, Sharia Law applies equally to all people, regardless of your religious belief. Like the old saying, when in Rome, do as the Romans. Well, these Muslims are in the U.S. of A now, and they had best remember that we are entitled to religious freedom. If they do not like our beliefs, then they can take their ass, and their prayer rugs, back to whatever hell hole it is they crawled out of, because America does not need, nor want, people like that living among us. Well, maybe a few elected officials with their heads up their asses want them here, but I sure as hell don‘t!

You people might think I sound harsh. Have you been to an Islamic country? If not, shut the hell up because I have, and it ain’t no fun. Let me tell you a few things about their interpretation of tolerance.

For instance, in Saudi Arabia conversion by a Muslim to another religion is punishable by death. Bibles are illegal. Churches are illegal. Easter celebrations are illegal. It is punishable by death for a non-Muslim to enter the “holy” Muslim cities of Medina and Mecca.

How about Kuwait? You know, our friends who we liberated from Saddam? What about their feelings about tolerance? Well in Kuwait they require the registration and licensing of religious groups. Members of religions not sanctioned in the Koran may not build places of worship. Prohibits organized religious education for religions other than Islam.

How about Pakistan, our so-called partners in the War on Terror? Well, in Pakistan conversion by a Muslim to another religion is punishable by death. Bans proselytizing by non-Muslims. Christians regularly put in prison for charges of blasphemy. Islam is the state religion, and in a court of law the testimony of a Christian carries less weight than that of a Muslim. Section 295(c) of the Penal Code calls for a death sentence for anyone who defiles the name of the Prophet Muhammad and requires the testimony of four Muslims for a conviction.

These are just a few examples of the Muslim interpretation of tolerance. And you think I sound harsh in my condemnation of them? Do yourself a favor and pull your fucking head out of your ass before you open your mouth.

I don’t know why we even tolerate this shit to tell you the truth. Well, I guess I do, sort of anyway. I think the only reason we tolerate it is because they have the oil that we so desperately need. Otherwise why would we even put up with their nonsense? If it weren’t for the oil, I say turn the whole fucking region into one huge parking lot.

As I stated earlier, one of the possible reasons Reverend Jones planned on burning the Korans on the anniversary of 9/11 was the building of a mosque at ground zero.

I wonder how many Americans realize what goes on in front of the existing mosques in NYC. I don’t normally include images in my articles, but this will be an exception. The image below was taken during prayer time in New York City, outside a mosque. If anyone believes that Christians could do this, and not find themselves the victim of a lawsuit by the ACLU, well, you’re an idiot.

This is what it looks like outside just one of the many mosques in NYC at prayer time.

If you look closely you can see NYC police protecting them, guaranteeing them the right to freely worship. I don’t see Christians getting that same protection. What was it Obama said about tolerance? Two faced bastard!

We are told that we are in a War against Terror. We are not in a war with terror. Terror is a tool that is used to further a belief. That tool is being used by Muslims, against any, and everyone, who holds an opposing religious view.

I have a question. Have any of you reading this ever seen the Star Trek episodes in which concerned the Borg? The Borg were a collective which either forced all who they encountered to assimilate, or be destroyed. That is Islam in a nutshell. They do not accept differing beliefs. You either convert to Islam, or become an enemy to be destroyed.

I am sick of hearing that Islam is a religion of peace. Whenever I hear that I want to scream. People who say that have not studied their history. Sure, while their numbers remain relatively small they are peaceful. But look at what is happening in Europe, particularly France, and you’ll get an idea of what’s in store for America if we don’t wake the fuck up.

The image below was from a protest by Muslims in England, and serves as a warning to those who believe Islam is a peaceful religion.

Peaceful my ass! Like I said, their numbers are still relatively small in this country, but they gaining ground on us…very quickly I might add.

Think about it this way. When you get a cold bug, or a virus, it enters your body and takes awhile before the germ multiplies and you begin to notice the symptoms. Usually two to three days after being infected you will start feeling sick. Well, these Muslims are just like a flu bug, they are already here, we haven’t begun to see the symptoms yet. Give it time, we will.

The Muslims living in America have already taken over large areas in numerous states; including California, New York, Illinois, New Jersey, Michigan, and yes, even Texas. It has been estimated that in another 10-15 years that the Muslim population in this country will be large enough that they could conceivably vote for a Muslim President, if they haven’t got one already.

So, people wanted to know what I thought about the Reverend Jones plan to burn a few Korans? I say where’s the friggin’ gasoline buddy? Who gives a shit if they get a tad bit upset.

They say that martyrdom for their cause is cause for celebration and that those who die for Allah will be rewarded with 70 virgins. I don’t know if any of that is true or not, but I am certain that there are still enough of us who are willing to accept any and all candidates for martyrdom, Between us all we should have enough ammo to rid our nation of this scourge.

The analogy between the expansion of Islam and viral infection is right on target, thank you.

I would add that sometime before 1965, America has been infected with HIV and now has a full-fledged AIDS. Our national autoimmune defense system has been crippled and all kind of ethnies, nations, and religions are in the process of conquering our nation with very little resistance from out ruling “elites” that are supposed to defend us from various invasions (or infections, using the parabole form this article).

Have you noticed that this kind of problems were not so grave before 1965, and turned potentially deadly afterwards? It’s not a co-incidence. That’s HIV that is killing us. Nothing will really improve until we neutralize that deadly virus in our political system.

Neal. I forgot to mention congratulations on a well-written article. It’s a shame that some folks just can’t handle certain adjectives and expletives and would rather nit and pick you to further apprehension than rather reading between the lines. Thank God that none of these folks ever choose Law Enforcement as a profession. For if knawty words were ever written in blood on a mirror at a murder scene they probably would be overtaken by the lint on the rug instead – oh Look… Linty objects!

It has been said that Marxism is the Opiate of the Asses, but I say that Asses on Opiates have finally revealed their hidden genetic structure – Freemasonry, the B’nai Birch of the two party sham with their offspring – Elephants on Steroids in Masonic Burka’s that consecrate Habeep Sheepinspanker’s efforts to erect another Dome of Dung in a city that has morphed it’s principals into a cosmopolitan cesspool. No matter if its porkspeak, newspeak, doublespeak, or tweekinspeak it will all end up splashed upon the pages of Newsweek and the Tyrannicalsaurus Hex in office with his Succubi concubine will pave the way to a brave new world.

Yes, Islam is the religion of peace. it says so right in the Koran. it ALSO says that this peace is extended only to Muslims. All others are infidels, to be converted or killed.

My note to Sean Hannity yesterday (10/11)

    Sean,
Remember the woman on the news shown after 9/11 from a Muslim country celebrating with glee? I’m MOST interested to see how Muslims act tomorrow; Especially those in the U.S. but also from around the world. We’re constantly told the world’s terrorist events (with the exception of Somali pirates) are acts by RADICAL Muslims. However, we also know the guiding book used by ALL Muslims is filled with violent rules of behavior toward all others.
It appears that any behaviors from other cultures that don’t have Muslim approval are subject to attract bloody actions against the people of that culture. Even if they are the HOST culture to their immigrants. The mosque location is a typical point.
I, for one, do not feel it in our interest to bow to these threats from our own country. They are already pushing their disrespect for our laws in New York by closing streets illegally. With such show of disrespect and intolerance the backlash cannot be too far away. How surprised the leaders who have tolerated and enabled this disrespect will be when the backlash begins.
No one likes to be discriminated against. Look at the actions AGAINST Christians and our founding principles by the ACLU, our non violent domestic terrorist organization, judges and administration and actions FOR our Muslim guests. Our non Muslim society is being held hostage to violent Muslim reaction if we do not comply or please their wishes. Any questions on why this is the biggest gun purchase period in American history? Once again, if the federal government will not protect it’s citizens (rolling over at the feet of Muslim state leaders does not fit the definition of protection), WE THE PEOPLE will act on our own to do their job. Yes, like Arizona and the 23 like states. Of course, electing true Americans to Congress and the White House would restore the American culture. Hopefully in time.

To all who read this. I have gotten a few comments now regarding my choice of language to express my views. If you wish to forward this article to someone, but are hesitant to do so due to the language, you have my permission to edit out the words you find offensive, or just XXXXX them out.

The important point is that people read it.

    Very well written piece, Neal.

One only has to read about the Muslim expansion into Europe in the 11th and 12th centuries to understand what they seek. Their supposed Religion of peace is based on the ramblings of an Epileptic child molester and is a superstitious Moon(sic)Religion. The favourite practice of the Potentates and Caliphs at the time was Crucifying Christian men, women and children in the countries they took over to mock my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

In this country we have Religious freedom, we also have freedom from Religion. If they try to convert me to their filthy heathen Religion, I will use my God given right to convert them to plant food; using my God given right to Bear Arms!

I am a tolerant person, but only to a certain extent. Don’t push it, Ahab! hb

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers my old friend – but I am out and kicking ass-ets. I had the Doctors and Nurses in stitches with my Jerry Moraineisms, and before it was over, they were asking for web-sites and broadcast information.

The Dr. was a hot little Italian number from Chicaga, so we hit it off quite well. Blood pressure was too low, as I had not eaten all day, other than a cold cheese-Danish (which still aren’t as good as a hot-blooded Italian), and much less water than I should have had. Plain English??? I was flat out dehydrated.

I will remain somewhat quiet for the weekend, be back to work on this site, as well as others, by Sunday night. Monday, I am going to Court to vouch for, and testify before a (deportation) Judge, on behalf of a friend (from North of the border), who has been here for over 30 years – LEGALLY.

There is no rest for the wicked. HEY! Where is the Doctah???

  10. Louis Turner says:

Ladies and gentlemen please take time out for a small break and say a Prayer for Jeffrey Bennett today. Last night I spoke with him on the phone around seven PM from an emergency room in Arizona. He seemed to be in good spirits and was eating a hospital dinner at the time but earlier was admitted into the Hospital with undetermined symptoms and light-headedness. May he have a quick recovery in Jesus Name and may the Hand of God work through the doctors to bring about positive results that Jeff may be reunited with his family soon.

    Alex

You say I don’t have a point? I don’t get yours. I don’t know what country you live in, but it does not appear that you are an American by your usage of pronouns.

My article was not written to discuss terrorism, it was written to discuss the threat that Islam itself poses for America.

America was founded upon religious freedom. I don’t care is a person is Christian, Buddhist, Taoist, or atheist, as long as they do not force their belief upon me.

Muslims do not preach the same tolerance for others beliefs as I do. They proselyte at the end of a gun, or sword if you care to be specific. You either convert, or die. That has nothing to do with who cast the first stone, it is their belief. They are of the opinion that they are right, and everybody else is wrong, and if you don’t like it, you die.

That is hardly my definition of tolerance. I would have no problem with the followers of Islam if they would not be so ‘in your face’ with their belief. Live and let live is a good way to express how I feel.

You seem to think that America is at fault. For what I cannot fathom. Sure our countries foreign affairs policies may suck, but that gives no one the right to force their religious beliefs upon anyone. That is the point I was trying to get across.

So, if they want to live here, then they should be a bit more tolerant of our beliefs, and not try to force feed Islam upon those who do not care to change their beliefs.

A lot of us do not take kindly to that type behavior and would rather that they return to their homeland and leave us alone.

As for burning the Koran, they burnt enough copies of the bible. Two wrongs do not make a right, but if they can burn Bibles with impunity, then they need to get off their damn high horse and tolerate the same treatment in return.

I wonder, how Muslims would feel if Christians beheaded anyone who converted from Christianity to Islam? They want us to treat them the same way they treat us? Fine, let me sharpen my sword.

  12. odysseus1959 says:

I am with you buddy, Kill them all, let GOD sort them out. Talk has done zero and I have 10,000 years of history to back me up. Only when your foes are on the end of your spear will they listen. Hey Alex go to Mecca with a Bible, pusscake, see how fast your turned into a colander.

  13. Pam Long says:

Maybe instead of tolerant, folks should be referred to as ‘touchy-feely’ and ‘open-minded’.I’m just positive we’ll all be patting ourselves on the back in congratulation of our ‘open-minds’ when the wind is blowing over the stump of our neck without a head instead of into our ears and through our empty heads. And, Alex, if you’re going to give us our comeuppance, get your quotes right. It’s ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.’ Hummmm. Wonder what’s wrong with the others?

  14. Dr Russ Fine says:

    Dear Mr. Ross:

You’ve written an interesting and well-reasoned piece. Thanks for having done so.

I am no stranger to the daily / regular use of expletives as colorful adjectives, nouns and pronouns in my own speech. I simply try to be conscious of those with whom I might be speaking with and choose my language accordingly. Thus, I think that in this instance, I am sorry you chose to use them because (IMO) their use detracted from the significance and importance of your points … and will, as a practical matter, restrict my ability to re-distribute your editorial to others who could really benefit from your perspective, insight and wisdom. IOW, you’re a very bright, articulate observer / writer. You have an excellent memory (unlike most of us mortals, this writer included) but I am fearful you may demean the importance of your message by your choice of words … not that they are without meaning … because I really understand where you are coming from … but rather, because the are simply unnecessary in this instance. Why give your critics powder to use on the messenger? We need your passionate reminders without enabling those who do not agree with the message to use the ad hominem technique to discredit that which you have written.
    Respectfully,

  15. Alex says:

I got bored before I finished (as you didn’t have much of a point, sorry).
“Tolerance Mr. President? You know, tolerance works both fucking ways. We are told to be tolerant of this, be tolerant of that. When are we going to hear that people need to be tolerant for the things which we hold dear? Huh, answer me that you sack of shit!”
Your bible teaches “do unto others what they would do unto you,” right?
“Do to no one what you yourself dislike.”
    —Tobit 4:15
“Recognize that your neighbor feels as you do, and keep in mind your own dislikes.”
    —Sirach 31:15

Perhaps by America showing tolerance towards others they would in turn show tolerance to you. Granted “they” did attack American soil, however its pretty unclear who threw the first stone. That said, not showing tolerance is what got us in to this mess in the first place.
I am glad to see you don’t actively support burning the Koran (remember I didn’t read the whole thing so maybe you changed your mind). However I wouldn’t say it is a strong political statement. Its a strong statement of racism and radicalism, the same irrational radicalism that leads to…
Anyways, tolerance needs to be practiced on your (America’s) part as much as on the Muslim part and a strong leader leads by example.
