Tancredo Pulls Ahead of McInnis in Gubernatorial Race

“Tancredo Demonstrating Remarkable Strength at Outset of Campaign,” says Bay Buchanan, Campaign Manager

According to a Denver Post/News 9 poll Tom Tancredo has pulled ahead of Republican Scott McInnis in the Colorado’s Gubernatorial Race, and is in a dead heat with the Republican Dan Maes for second place.  The poll of 982 registered voters was taken over three days, July 27 to July 29.  Tancredo did not announce his candidacy until July 29.

“Tom Tancredo is demonstrating remarkable strength at the outset of this campaign”, said Bay Buchanan, Tancredo’s campaign manager.  “Considering the poll was conducted, for the most part, prior to his formal announcement, we are extremely encouraged by the results.”

Buchanan added: “It’s time for the Colorado GOP to realize that their scandal plagued candidates have no chance of securing a conservative victory in November and let Tancredo and Hickenlooper battle it out.”

Formerly a Republican congressman from Colorado’s sixth congressional district, Tom Tancredo announced his candidacy for Governor on Thursday, July 29th and will be a third party candidate on the November Ballot.
