There is surely no nation in the world that holds “racism” in greater horror than does the United States. Compared to other kinds of offenses, it is thought to be somehow more reprehensible. The press and public have become so used to tales of murder, rape, robbery, and arson, that any but the most spectacular crimes are shrugged off as part of the inevitable texture of American life. “Racism” is never shrugged off. For example, when a white Georgetown Law School student reported earlier this year that black students are not as qualified as white students, it set off a booming, national controversy about “racism.” If the student had merely murdered someone he would have attracted far less attention and criticism.
Racism is, indeed, the national obsession. Universities are on full alert for it, newspapers and politicians denounce it, churches preach against it, America is said to be racked with it, but just what is racism?
Today, July 22, 2010, marks the 9th anniversary of the founding of the Federal Observer – or at least in it’s original inception.
This publication went on-line, just seven weeks before the modern-era ‘Day of Infamy’ of September 11, 2001. What follows, was the first column ever published on the Federal Observer, July 22, 2001.
This broadcaster is henceforth proceeding as if we are going to achieve the return of our birthright as Americans – FREEDOM. It is our belief that the global socialists’ benevolent veneer is cracking. The cracks are being caused by the shadow state and federal dupes who are losing their ability to deceive people into believing that the enslavement mechanisms of modern America are being implemented for their own good and, as a result, are having to use increasingly absurd and despotic means to keep us in ignorant obeyance.
I am getting very edgy. Things are happening in this country that are not supposed to happen. We have a genuine fasciunist pretendsident and things are getting out of hand. I have always warned that if the fasciunists got enough control of this country that a civil war could break out. This is the last thing that we should have or even want. Civil war will tear this country apart like never before. It will be harder than the War Between the States because there will be no line drawn and no uniforms.
How much more can Lady Liberty stand? She is suffering grave wounds and she’s losing lots of blood. She now lays in triage waiting for an assessment of her injuries by her doctors, to determine the best treatment to save her life. The doctors and nurses are very worried that she has lost so much blood that there will be no way to stop it, due to so much internal bleeding. Her vital organs have been breached and she is dying, unless the doctors can find a way to save her.

William Burroughs will never be an icon of the conservative movement. A proud junkie, an aggressive homosexual, a leader of both the Beat movement and the Counterculture, a man who shot his wife by “accident” while playing a party game, Burroughs was, if anything, the polar opposite of the conservative ideal.
Recently someone posted a quote to my blog that I found interesting. I don’t know who the author is, but whoever it is, they captured the essence of what is wrong in this country.
The quote is as follows, “The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” I don’t know how the author of that quote feels, but I could just as easily replace Obama’s name with either Bush or Clinton and the rest of the quote would apply as well.
Years ago, when we were buying land, income properties and businesses, our decision to buy would be based on a series of known factors. In the case of raw land, we would add the cost of the land, permits, improvements and costs of sales and then subtract the total of those expenses from the total market price of the smaller parcels we would sell from the larger one, in order to determine our profit. This is somewhat over simplified, but we’re sure you get the picture.
