Judge Blocks Parts Of Arizona Immigration Law

PHOENIX (AP) A judge has blocked the most controversial sections of Arizona’s new immigration law from taking effect Thursday, handing a major legal victory to opponents of the crackdown.

Judge Bolton’s Order

The law will still take effect Thursday, but without many of the provisions that angered opponents including sections that required officers to check a person’s immigration status while enforcing other laws. The judge also put on hold a part of the law that required immigrants to carry their papers at all times, and made it illegal for undocumented workers to solicit employment in public places.

U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton put those controversial sections on hold until the courts resolve the issues.

All I can say is, I AM DONE. This government refuses to obey its own laws. I will not allow a criminal network, aka the gubermint, to enforce any laws upon me any longer. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. NAFTA and GATT is now the law of the land and I will not comply! International Codes are enforced in almost every city and I will not comply! The Constitution exists only in memory. Land of the free? Only if your an international corporation or a banker…

    DO NOT TREAD ON ME!
    DO NOT DO IT!

Well, the chickens have come home to roost… After 500 years of European illegal entry & American’s absconding Mexico’s land on our southern border, some of the rightful heirs to the SW are here to stay…

Well crap! Here I was looking for the “Dumbest Comment of the Year” and was afraid I would have to surf for hours on The Federal Observer finding one, when all of a sudden, I find Pauline Stephenson. Congratulations Pauline! I’m posting your comment on Shock And Awe Graphics. Please send me your picture so I can have some fun distorting your image. With my twisted humor and your stupidity you could become the laughing-stock of the nation!

I say we give the land that Mexico says we stole, back to them. Of course they will have to pay back the money we paid them when they signed the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, $15 million if I recall, (adjusted for today’s monetary value which would be around $357 million in dollars today)

Then as we leave, we can burn the states to the ground, doing away with all the improvements we have made. Let the wetbacks start from scratch.

However, next time there will be no amnesty for anyone crossing over into United States territory. Use of deadly force will not only be authorized, it will be encouraged.

      Pauline,

Until you live in the war zone of Arizona, and tolerate the murders, rapes, kidnappings (highest rate in the country – only second in the world to Mexico City), then, although you have a right to say what you wish, your opinions and sarcasm are worthless in this room.

You don’t have a clue, what you are talking about. With a name like Stephenson, I can only assume, that you are also a descendant of one of those European invaders. As long as you are pointing fingers, and seem to have this guilt issue to deal with, maybe you should invite 20 or 30 illegal invaders (from any nation) to move in with you and your family. Yeah – that’s the ticket. You can pay for their food, health care, housing and general welfare. If that’s not acceptable, then maybe you should “go home” from whence you came.

As to America “absconding Mexico’s land,” I guess that you forgot about the money, which was paid to Mexico fro that land.

As for Neal’s comments, he also lives in a land, that has been ruined, due the Federal Government’s lack of fortitude, to enforce this nation’s laws.

There’s a great book “Island at the Center of the World” by Russell Shorto, which would explain my heritage… We came as traders not invaders to the then & now most diverse place on earth…We had no surname when we arrived… The name I use is for security reasons when I post on the web…I do live in the West with many immigrants…I have never had a problem with them…

Pauline-You obviously are of the belief that illegal aliens have a right to be here, and to re conquer the lands we supposedly stole from them. Fine, everyone is entitled to their opinions. I just wonder though, do you live in a neighborhood with a preponderance of these people? Have you seen how they move in and once nice yards are turned into garbage heaps with cars, in various stages of repair, litter the yards and parties with mariachi music go late into the night? Do you have to listen to their children driving down the street with their motorized boom boxes that rattle your windows when you’re trying to sleep at 2 a.m.? Do you have to wait in line at the supermarket while a family that barely speaks any English, first pays for items using WIC coupons, then food stamps, then pulls out a wad of cash as big around as a coke can to pay for the non-covered items? These people then go out and climb into a shiny new SUV or Pickup Truck. They eat better than I do and drive nicer vehicles, and they are living off my taxes as well.

Do you honestly think that these people are as sympathetic to your needs and concerns, as you are for theirs? Do you think that when they become the majority in this nation, that they will pass laws that benefit you, and people of your skin color?

Get off your righteous high horse and face reality. Sure we may have fought a war and taken their land. We paid them handsomely for it though, which is far more than what other conquering nations have done in the past. Now they want it back?

Like I said, go ahead, give it to them, but tear down all the infrastructure we built. Leave it to them in the same condition as the hell hole they fled from.

Why do you think they come here, because the land is nicer? They come here for jobs and free benefits. They wouldn’t come if their own country provided those things for them. If we even gave it back with the infrastructure in place, they would turn it into another version of Mexico, with the drugs, and violence, and lack of jobs. Then they would flee like cockroaches into the remaining states where there were jobs.

Where are we going to draw the line and say, enough is enough? People are mighty tired of their government not enforcing its own laws. So sure, I may use the term wetback, but you can ask any of the Mexicans with whom I work, (and are legally here by the way), how I treat them. I have nothing but respect for them, they are hard working and very friendly people. But the wetbacks are criminals and deserved to be treated as such.

Actually, when I moved into my home 32 yrs ago it was a predomently black neighborhood… have heard many a boom box in my day… My roommate is Mexican American and if I were to profile any of the 40 + years of Hispanic friendships I’ve had it would be that I’ve never seen anyone who were as ultra clean or had the best senses of humor across the board…Yes, I’m stereotyping, but that has been my experience…

The Federal Government’s position that only they have jurisdiction in this case is disingenuous at best. The Fed’s have had 40 or 50 years to solve this problem. If they had done ANYTHING to fix this, Arizona wouldn’t have HAD to pass this Law. Arizona is sued for trying to protect themselves, New Black Panthers case dropped even tho they intimidated voters. Is there any doubt where the priorities of this Federal REGIME are placed. This is a great Country, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, they are NOT entitled to their own FACTS.

This is the biggest issue this country is facing. It’s a demographic invasion led by Mexico, illegitimate illegally elected to office politicians, and racist organizations such as the National Council of La Raza to reclaim mythical territories and to advance the Hispanic agenda. It has to be dealt with at all costs.

In order to protect the future of this country, we must make certain our nation:
    -Upholds the law
-preserves the rights of our citizens
-stop illegal immigration – as it is the most important issue with the highest stake in our lifetimes.

Losing this issue will be like losing war where the invading army stays here. We’ve never had that feeling in America, and that’s what is at stake, and as such, we must choose.

There is no in-between on this issue. No wiggle room for politicians.

I will work against anyone who supports amnesty, citizenship, and the vote for illegal aliens. It will be the first question I ask of anyone, and the one that matters most.
There is no party loyalty, no friendship, no excuses, no exceptions.
Anyone supporting immigration reform, instead of security is against me and my family, and yours…

After millions of illegal aliens protested against Arizona’s decision, and now are celebrating as they did when the US was attacked on Sept. 11, 2001, the majority of American citizens are angry at the treasonous action of another liberal judge.
Arizona law mirrors federal law — making the (In)Justice Department’s preemption argument a slap in our faces. The department can only win if it can show a conflict with federal law. But there is no federal statute that Arizona’s law conflicts with. The department’s legal filings don’t, and can’t offer any answer to this fundamental problem.

The majority of Americans of all races have expressed their disapproval for the tsunami of illegal aliens running rampant throughout our country, and the upcoming Amnesty pushed by the racist Illinois Congressman and Mexican loyalist, Luis Gutierrez. After all, Democrats have to pay the Hispanic community back for allowing illegal immigrants to vote in our elections (an offense that would get you a prison sentence in Mexico).

What Americans are fed up with are the millions upon millions of people who come here illegally, do not want to assimilate or learn the language. People who send their earnings? “home” to another country. People who are turning 2 bedroom apartments and single family homes into illegal camps housing up to 100. People who are stealing I.Ds and Social Security numbers from American taxpayers.

People who are turning entire neighborhoods and city sections into Tijuana’s, where half the store signs advertise “llanteras usadas.” People who are killing American citizens at the rate of 27 per day through murder, drunk driving, etc. People who expect and demand their kids to be taught in Spanish, and don’t care what we Americans think. People who since 2000 have desecrated our National border parks with 65 million tons of trash.

People who drive illegally without licenses or auto insurance or set enough aside to cover their? liabilities. People who use our expensive hospital emergency rooms as their cold and sniffle clinics. The real complaint here is that those “lazy Americans” who “follow the laws” find themselves increasingly squeezed and taxed, fingerprinted and regulated and licensed and strip-searched, while the illegals and their ilk thumb their noses, disregard our wishes, and give the finger to our laws.

Why would they want “reform” of laws they’ve shown no intention of obeying? What they really want is “belly up immigration surrender” – free instant citizenship rights to all government welfare benefits for any of their people who can get here. Why is it dangerous that we can’t discuss these? things frankly in the open, without crippling euphemisms that disguise what this is really about?

Every 3 months, a population three times the size of Tallahassee, FL pours across our southern border. They are not “undocumented,” or “immigrants.” They are illegal aliens. Period.

In 1997, pres Zedillioo proclaimed “I have proudly affirmed that the Mexican nation extends beyond the territory enclosed by its borders.” MALDEF founder Mario Obledo stated, “California is going to be a Hispanic state. Anyone who doesn’t like it should leave. Every constitutional office in California is going to be held by Hispanics in the next 20 years.” People who don’t like such demographic changes “should go back to Europe.” They see the US as lands they claim is theirs.

Why do American public officials (or the liberal media) value so little what thousands have fought and died to protect?

A foreign power has stated its plans to conquer this nation by demographic warfare.

    They call it Reconquista.

Why is the Hispanic/Latino agenda taking precedence over the future and direction of our country, and constantly being forced down our throats?

It’s because the most dispicable, worthless, obnoxious, immoral, indignant, corrupt, greedy, wreckless, parasitic and underlying ideologically maligned? country and it’s people insist we do so for their benefit alone…
