Letter to an Editor: Hasta la vista, baby!

The following was a letter to the editor of the LA Times. I must say he is a little ticked off, as you can tell. He also pinpointed California’s financial problem without saying so.

Hector,

I can’t believe that a major metropolitan paper like the LA Times would publish drivel like your distortion-laden column I had the misfortune to read today. The citizens of Arizona passed a law that makes it necessary to prove you are in their state LEGALLY. They are tired of paying TWO BILLION taxpayer dollars a year in medical and educational benefits to people in their state ILLEGALLY.

Case: Is Obama anti-business or anti-free market?

A short blip in response to a posted article on whether Obama is anti-business or anti-free market. The article maintained he was pro-business (when subsidized and controlled) but anti-free market, as if either scenario is good for the country or individuals.

Cantor: White House Manure by the Mouthful

Last year’s $862 billion stimulus law has now “saved OR created” between 2.5 million and 3.6 million jobs according to a new White House report.

That is up from 2.2 million to 2.8 million jobs in the last quarterly report from the Council of Economic Advisors.

Dardick: Democrat Voter Fraud is Far More Widespread Than You Think

Last week I wrote an article titled How Obama Used an Army of Thugs to Steal the 2008 Democratic Primary, that introduced the conservative community to the movie “We Will Not Be Silenced”, made by Democrat activist Gigi Gaston two years ago. Her video documented widespread voter fraud committed by Obama supporters during the 2008 Democratic primary election to secure the nomination for Obama over the popular vote winner Hillary Clinton.

Johnson: ‘Immigrant’ List Sets Off Fears

SALT LAKE CITY — A list of 1,300 Utah residents described as illegal immigrants has sown fear among some Hispanics here, and prompted an investigation into its origins and dissemination.

News Outlets in Utah Decline to Reveal ‘Immigrant’ List (July 15, 2010)
Each page of the list is headed with the words “Illegal Immigrants” and each entry contains details about the individuals listed — from their address and telephone number to their date of birth and, in the case of pregnant women, their due dates.

O’Connell: Are Barack’s Followers Mindless Fanatics?

Obama & the Eighty-One Percent True Believers

Recent polls reveal a giant gap in Obama’s approval between parties, with 81% of Democrats approving Barack’s job performance, while only 12% of Republicans concur. Despite unprecedented failure, why do liberals strongly approve Obama’s performance? Barack’s hyper-political stance and stunningly inept decisions ought to repulse every patriotic American.

Cap-and-Trade Will Be Part of Senate Climate Change Bill

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid confirmed Tuesday that the Senate will soon debate a bill to reduce pollution and that the legislation will include a scaled back version House-passed language to reduce carbon output by charging some polluters for emissions above a certain threshold.

Reid said that the bill is still in “rough draft form,” but he gave an outline of what he plans to introduce in the Senate two weeks from now.
