Aren’t you getting a little tired of feeling like you’ve been mounted by the rabid dogs in our out of control Congress?
Albert Einstein once stated, “the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.”
No better illustration of this quote can be gleaned than from last weeks “Unity Summit,” on health care, hosted by President Obama, in Washington D.C. Obama’s Chicago Community Organizing skills were on display for his sycophant media, as he tried to extort Congressional leaders with an arrogant, and disgusting diatribe of obfuscation against the will of the people … over and over again.
One of the keystones of the Obama administration’s energy policies has been a very expensive emphasis on “clean energy”, sometimes called “renewable energy”, allocating billions to the wind and solar energy producers. Like much of the “stimulus” bill that money is a waste.
The wind power trade group, the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) has been pouring big bucks into a public relations effort to convince Americans that wind is the energy source of the future and that acres of wind turbines should be installed to replace the proven sources, primarily coal-fired, natural gas, and nuclear plants currently providing more than 80% of the nation’s electricity needs.
If a manufacturer produces sub-standard or unsafe products, as in the current Toyota debacle, you can take your sub-standard or unsafe product back for repair or a complete refund, but when a public school district produces sub-standard students, there is seemingly no recourse. You cannot send your kid back to school, even if s/he cannot read comprehensively or perform basic math. Further, there is no means to recoup the property taxes the parents paid to support the public school system their failing child attended.
Many read the Revelation and some accept it as prophetic. Others look at it and classify it as a bunch of bunk. Let’s look at it again. Specifically, let us look at Revelation chapter eighteen and rather than viewing it as a dream by some mystic, let’s look at it in light of history. Prophets, fortune tellers, and seers into the future understand and believe the axiom that history repeats its self. Perhaps, just perhaps the demise of Babylon in Revelation chapter eighteen is not speaking about historic Babylon but a modern day Babylon who is in the process of repeating the fate of the historic Babylon thousands of years ago. Further if there is indeed a modern day Babylon, America fits that profile to the tee. Join with me as we go through this chapter in Revelation and see how America could very well be the modern Babylon spoken of in the book of Revelation thousands of years ago.
A Rhode Island school board’s decision to fire the entire faculty of a poorly performing school, and President Obama’s endorsement of the action, has stirred a storm of reaction nationwide, with teachers condemning it as an insult and conservatives hailing it as a watershed moment of school accountability.
The decision by school authorities in Central Falls to fire the 93 teachers and staff members has assumed special significance because hundreds of other school districts across the nation could face similarly hard choices in coming weeks, as a $3.5 billion federal school turnaround program kicks into gear.

There has been a growing controversy — in Rhode Island and across the nation — about the firing of the teachers at Central Falls High School.
Teachers are in an uproar, the union is “outraged”, the parents are “outraged”, the students are surely “going to be traumatized” (But then, that seems easy to accomplish these days. To listen to the talking heads, one definitely comes to the conclusion that children are just not as resilient as they used to be when adults had common sense.)
To understand why these teachers were fired, one needs to understand the system…
Back in 1994, Goals 2000, the educate America Act was passed by Congress. This was under the Clinton Administration but Goals 2000 was the end product of America 2000 which went back to the George Herbert Walker Bush Administration.
It seems that the more educated we get, the dumber we become. At our own peril, we cloud, obfuscate and confuse what our common sense, instinct and intellect tell us, with unproven, esoteric education theories. Then we experiment on our kids’ brains with what boils down to psychiatric unproven and untested hogwash. Such is the case of Social Emotional Learning, or SEL.
As Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid unquestionably is one of the nation’s most powerful political figures. So, as Majority Leader, how could he be so wrong on Domestic Violence?
Arguing in favor of a jobs bill and speaking before the Senate, he uttered – even by Washington standards – some of the more unusual comments to come from a politician.

There is a classic story about how no one had been able to capture a herd of wild hogs that was rooting up crops from numerous farms. It got so bad that rewards had been posted for anyone clever enough to corral the critters. But even this resulted in only limited success.
One day a stranger (who was a wily old trapper) came into town and–entering the general store–ordered a truckload of fence posts and fencing, along with some feed. When asked what he was going to use it for, he said, “I’m going to get those wild hogs y’all are having trouble with.” Of course, everyone in the store laughed at the overconfident stranger. A few weeks later, however, the stranger rode into town with the back of his truck tightly packed with the smelly swine.
When American historian Howard Zinn passed away recently, he left behind a legacy that redefined our relationship to history altogether.
Professor Zinn dared to challenge the way history was told and written. In fact he went as far as to defy the conventional construction of historical discourses through the pen of victor or of elites who earned the right of narration though their might, power and affluence.
This kind of history might be considered accurate insofar as it reflects a self-seeking and self-righteous interpretation of the world by a very small number of people. But it is also highly inaccurate when taking into account the vast majority of peoples everywhere.
Arizona Republic – Two years after Arizona began requiring all employers to use a federal online program to ensure a legal workforce, a new study indicates that illegal workers are slipping through the system more than half of the time by using stolen identities.
Fifty-four percent of the illegal workers whose names were run through the program nationwide were wrongly found to be authorized to work, according to the report by Westat, a Maryland research company hired by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to evaluate the system, known as E-Verify.
After seven and a half hours of the Republicans trying to introduce some rationality into the discussion of Obamacare, the “reform” of Medicare that actually takes trillions out of the present system and adds millions of people into it, the ordinary American can be excused for being confused, frustrated, and angry.
That’s exactly where President Obama, the Chicago political mafia around him, Harry Reid, the Senate Majority Leader, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi want people to be. At one point in the pointless all-day meeting on Thursday, she even claimed that passing Obamacare would create four million jobs overnight! Even for Speaker Pelosi, that’s a new level of insane babble.
After more than15 years of trying to warn Americans about the dangers of Sustainable Development, finally, many in the freedom movement are beginning to understand that it is the root of most of the issues we are fighting today. But it is a vast, complicated issue that is difficult to comprehend – even for those of us who have been studying it for so long. It is critical that all freedom-loving Americans grasp the true destructive force of evil that is Sustainable Development.
