Have you ever wondered why we humans never seem to learn from our past mistakes? Throughout recorded human history, one war is followed by another war, which is followed by yet another war. The people cry, “we want an end to war!” But the wars never end. Throughout recorded human history humankind have found themselves under one form of bondage or another with only brief periods of escape from tyranny, even though they cry out, “we want to be free.” Have you ever wondered just why these things are? Why do we keep finding ourselves repeating the same mistake over and over again, with no end in sight? The simple answer is that it’s just the nature of things. Is there away out of this seeming dilemma? Is there a way to escape this nature of things? The simple answer is yes, but it takes a tiny bit of effort on our part … but it can be done. The question that will be asked at the end of this article is, “are you willing to make that little effort now to break out of this endless chain of never ending cycles of war and strife for yourself and all those who will follow you?”

“I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” (Joh 10:9 NASB) Just what is this doorway spoken of that if found will set us free from this bondage of ever repeating our same mistakes over and over, as we have done as a people, and demonstrated by our recorded history? “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. “For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.“(Mat 7:13-14 NASB) Again we are assured that there is a way, called the narrow way and further that out of the multitudes of people living upon the earth only a few seem to find the escape from our ever repeating mistakes. “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. “You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?“(Mat 7:15-16 NASB) Perhaps this is the answer, or at least part of the answer. Could there be false teachers in the world who spew out lies and deceptions in order to deceive us into taking the wrong path in our collective lives so that we continue along the broad path of the false teachers and have and continue to bring us death and destruction? If so, what can we do about it? For if a person is deceived how can he know he is deceived for he has been lead to believe the lie is the truth and he knows nothing else? Those false teachers who lie to us in order to deceive and direct us down the wrong path in life sound so right. They look like us and the almost always tell us that the lie they offer us is for our own wellbeing. And wanting the good things this world has to offer we bite their bait of deception and become snared in their crafty traps. But the escape route has been given. We need to look beyond the sweet sounding lie of the teacher and look at the fruits in the teachers own life. There the lie will be exposed and our eyes will be opened and then we become ripe good fruit ready to take the next step to free ourselves from the death and destruction found along the endless lie offerings of the broad way.

An important key to understanding can be found in a dialog the one called Jesus was having with his disciples as recorded in John 8:23 (NASB). Here he is recorded as having said, “You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world.” For those with eyes to see, the importance of this statement, which most read and gloss right over with little or no thought, to our escape from this world system of lies and deception will become obvious. The creator had two ways by which it could have created our world and the universe. One way was to just create everything and let it be to run its course. If the creator had chosen this way, the original creation would have started with a certain order of things and rather quickly would have run down as its initial energy was dissipated. This would be what we would expect to see under such circumstances in accord with the second law of thermodynamics, which says that in a closed system things will tend to seek a lower energy level, or run down. The other way, which is the way in which our world and the universe was created, was not only to create everything but to go a bit further and create an opposite or mirror image to everything that was created. In other words, there was not a single creative act but two. For everything that was created an opposite was also created. For every force of nature an opposing force was created. By creating the universe in this fashion, the creation would not run down. Instead of dissipating its energy into the vastness and have it lost, the energy being dual in nature, plus and minus or north and south, the energy would be trapped into oscillation between its two forms forever and thus our world and the universe would not run down but continue to exist forever as oscillating between two extremes or between one for of a thing and its mirror image. Now that all the technical stuff, which forms the basis of understanding, is out of the way, let’s see how this is responsible for the manner humanity has lived throughout its recorded history.

The principle, the key if you will, to understanding why humanity keeps going down the same stale road generation after generation is in grasping the concept that EVERYTHING in creation has a double, a counter part , a mirror image, call it what you will, and that everything continually cycles or oscillates between these two extremes endlessly. Understand that you and I are not exempt from this law of duality for we are flesh, we are part of creation, so we also tend to become trapped in these cycles between one extreme and the other, this includes our every thought. We are beings which were created to have an ability to create things, within limits, ourselves. Our every thought our minds create at the same time create a mirror image opposite to that thought. If we create something we consider good, automatically we will have created its bad counterpart. Think about it. Think about the language we use. The language is an expression of our thoughts, of our minds creativity and for every word we have created in our language there by necessity also exist its counterpart, its mirror image, its anonym. Think about this concept some. One day you wake up and see yourself as getting too heavy, fat is one side of the equation. So, you decide to go on a diet, the other side of the equation. After you have lost some weight, you feel better about yourself so decide to treat yourself and again you will find yourself on the fat side of the equation until you again decide it’s time to diet again. Cycles between extremes or poles is what this world and our lives are based on. There is nothing in nature which does not have its counterpart mirror image. Think about it some more. We vote for the Republicans one election then later decide it was a mistake or that we were betrayed so next election we vote for the Democrats. This cycle goes on and on to the demise of the nation. We cry out for war against some nation. We go to war. After years of war we tire of war and cry out for peace. A period of peace follows but only to be followed again by a period of war. And so has been and will continue to be in this world, we are given lives of endless duality. This concept of duality can probably not be stated any better than the one called Solomon did as recorded in the book of Ecclesiastes where it states:

“There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven– A time to give birth and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up. A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing. A time to search and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep and a time to throw away. A time to tear apart and a time to sew together; A time to be silent and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate; A time for war and a time for peace.” (Ecc 3:1-8 NASB)

Few of us have given much if any serious consideration to these important principles of life in this world and to our demise. Why to are demise, if that is the order of things? Because throughout all ages of recorded history there have been those, a few, who have considered these principles and have devised methodologies on how to use them against their neighbors for their own gain. Yes, there have been, and are today, a few who know these principles and how to used them to conspire against we the people, for their profit. They, seeing this dual nature of things, have trained themselves to stand outside this inherent duality and in this position they can manipulate the movement and activities of people to their desired end. They provide the fuel to one side to entice them into moving in the opposite direction, while at the same time they fuel the other side into moving in the direction they wish. The manipulation is usually accomplished through both the injection of ideas, ideologies, and money into a system at specific points and to specific degrees to get one side or the other moving in the direction they desire for their own selfish ends. We haven’t really understood the true nature of this scam because we look at the world around us and see all the natural inherent duality and just assume that what is transpiring, by these manipulators, is normal, is natural, and is the normal nature of things and so we have accepted and endured them.

Another reason we have remained blind to this scam done to us by the manipulators is because we have allowed ourselves to believe the lie that we only have two choices. We either have to go to the right or the left. We have to vote for either conservatives or liberals. The lie that men are either free or in bondage and that we have to choose one or the other. We have bought into the lie there are only two choices and that we must choose between one or the other of these two. But how often do we ask ourselves the question, just where are these conspirators in all of this? Where do they reside? Recall previously it was stated that these manipulators of humanity stand outside this duality. They can’t remain within it or they themselves would become part of it. This friend is the key to understanding; forget the lie you have come to believe that you only have two ways, the something or its opposite, because there is a third way. This third way is the door. This third way is the narrow way that the one called Jesus spoke to his disciples about. This is how the manipulators of humanity for thousands of years have gained the upper hand and enslaved humanity to satisfy their greed. It is this third way, this third choice that must be learned by humanity if it is to ever free its self from the continual bondage it finds its self in by these conspirators against humanity, against true freedom and against true liberty. As long as we keep limiting ourselves to having only two choices between things and ideas while the manipulators alone are privileged to having the third choice we will remain under their bondage. But when we free ourselves from what some call the left right mentality and poise ourselves in this third way then the conspirators will no longer have the upper hand on us.

Let’s see if we can get a handle on what and or where this heretofore described third way, this door and the narrow way, is. Once we find it, we can choose to make it ours to what ever degree we are willing or capable of. There are many ways this can be modeled. Here we will just use a simple straight line. Draw a line on a paper or in your minds eye. Find the center of the line you have drawn and put a mark there so it is easy for you to see just where the center of the line is located. This line represents a model of our dualistic world, its reality. To the right of the center is one thing or one idea while to the left of the line is its opposite or mirror image. You could put the word Democrat on the left of center and the Republican on the right of center … or any other thing you desire … how about war on one side and peace on the other? We continually live our lives running around back and forth on these lines or between the extremes between things never resting and never feeling fulfilled. Now that is exactly how the natural world, the hard stuff of creation was made and for a very good reason, to give it never ending life as discussed earlier in this article. And we can have no lasting control over the natural order of things, which is fine. The problem arises when it comes to the things outside the natural order of things, that is, the things humankind has created for its self. The ideas and inventions of man’s mind. These are the things which can and have been manipulated by the conspirators against humanity to keep them in the dark about the way things really are and what is really possible for them. It is the creations, the ideas of men that we must be focused on.

Looking at the line with its center point indicated at first glance gives us the impression that things are hopeless, that there are only two ways which we really can go. That is, we can either go to the right or to the left so where is this third way found along this dualistic line? What few have heretofore failed to consider is the center point. That exact center between the two extremes is also another choice which could have been made. The center point is the other way, it is the third way, it is the door and the narrow way spoken of. By way of example, which should become clear to every reader, consider the line to represent the temperature of water. To the right of center call that hot and to the left of center call that cold. The further to the right you go the hotter the water is and the further to the left you go the colder the water is. Now as each side of the line comes closer and closer to the center of the line there will come a point where neither side can move any further. The hot and the left are so close to one another near the center of the line that if either moved the slightest bit further they would be on the other side of it. Now ask yourself, what is that center point of the line? Is it hot or is it cold? The answer is that it can neither be hot or cold. Everything else along that line is either hot or cold and is subject to where it finds its self on the line except the center point. The center point between hot and cold or between anything else is completely independent. It is outside the rules of the hot and cold duality. The center point, if you will, is the only place along the line where true freedom and liberty can be found for everything else is controlled by the hot cold duality. It is this third point where the self proclaimed ‘elite and royalty the self proclaimed rulers of this world’ reside and it is because they have perched themselves on the point of this third way that they are able to fully control what remains on each line. We work and expend a great deal of our energy running around from place to place along the line when all we need do is find the center point of each idea, of each invention, of each thing we ourselves have created and perch ourselves there and being removed from the weariness of running around endlessly along the line we can experience finally true liberty and freedom from the snare of the line, which is subject to manipulation by the conspirators bring.

So we need to finally break out of the hypnotic trance we have accepted that is our lot in life that there is only two things to choose between … either this or that. If you have eyes to see, you will now understand, that has been a lie and you have been caught in the conspirators snare. You friend have always had three choices and didn’t realize it. By way of conclusion, realize that coming to the center point of each line does not mean to negotiate a compromise. For compromise still leaves you on the line and under the control of greedy manipulators. A compromise is simply each side moving toward one another and toward the center point but never actually coming to the center point.

Think about these things as you go through your normal daily routine. Really look at things and begin to see what the counter point to each of them is. As you do this you will come to realize the truth in the statement that everything natural and created by humankind has two parts one the mirror image to the other. After you are convinced at the validity of the duality of all things by your own observations then begin considering where and what the center point of each of them are. Finally in the third and final step begin moving your mental posture to embrace center points in all things and as this is done then you will truly realize what it means to walk in the world but not be a part of the world. And now the final question is, are you willing to make that little effort now to break out of this endless chain of never ending cycles of war and strife for yourself and all those who will follow you?
