Ewart: Let’s Call It What it is – Marxist Care!
“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet.” – William Shakespeare
We find it of great interest, the tactics used by the progressives when an issue gets too hot or contentious. They just change the name. Thus, man-caused global warming became “climate change”. Illegal alien has morphed into “undocumented worker”. Members of the black race are called “African-Americans”. Nationalizing the entire American Health Care industry has been dubbed “America’s Affordable Health Choices Act”, when in fact, it is the outright nationalization of the American Health Care industry by any other name.
Political correctness and name changing have gotten so out of hand, no one knows what the truth is any more. If a lie doesn’t work, just change the name. If the science doesn’t yield the “correct” answer, doctor the science. And if that doesn’t work go into full propaganda mode to “sell” the ignorant, naive and un-informed among us, as Obama is attempting to do right now with Obama Care, (at great expense mind you) even after he signed the so-called “America’s Affordable Health Choices Act” legislation into law. One might ask, if it’s law, why does he have to “sell” it? Could it be that his narcissistic disorder is surfacing again and he cannot live without a TV-Teleprompter “fix” every day?
In the case of Obama Care, as in so many other cases of legislation coming out of Washington DC and even state capitols, the name of any given Bill is purposely “sweet” and “soft” sounding, in order to confuse, obfuscate and cloud what the legislation actually does. It’s the old Motherhood, Apple Pie and Chevrolet trick. Make it sound American and from the Founding Fathers and invoke freedom and liberty. Make it sound patriotic, or make it appeal to our deepest emotions, like compassion, sympathy and empathy. Make it for the “children”. That is always good for a million votes or so.
There have been a thousand articles on what Obama Care does and doesn’t do, from both sides. We won’t attempt that here. To consolidate the issue, the progressives say what the law provides is a right for all Americans and it is the duty of all other Americans to “chip in” and pay for this right, no matter what it costs. The more you have, the more you will pay. It’s the great class warfare ploy used by all socialists, communists, Marxists and fascists.
The conservatives say that Obama Care is the death knell of freedom and liberty as we know it. The true condition is somewhere in between, but it should be no surprise that this author leans in the direction of the “death knell of freedom and liberty as we know it.”
America has survived many things from the progressives, who have essentially been in control of all three branches of government for the last 100 years. It doesn’t matter who is in the White House or the Capitol, because progressives (socialists and radical environmentalists) have infiltrated every bureaucracy, at every level of government and all of public schools and our institutions of higher learning, with few exceptions. The move towards socialism goes back even into the 18 hundreds when significant changes were made to the judiciary, taking us away from the strict interpretation of the Constitution, to interpretation by court precedent.
All these changes occurred mostly in little increments, with some larger increments coming along in times of upheaval or crises. Most Americans were totally unaware of the little changes. The term describing this movement to the left was called “Social Justice”, a buzz word for socialism and communism.
The creation of the Federal Reserve and the IRS in 1913 by President Wilson and his elitist cronies (Morgan, Rockefeller, Rothschild, etc), put the progressives in power over our money and our income. Wilson’s ”League of Nations” fiasco led us into the hopelessly corrupt United Nations, along with the UN’s attempts to put all nations under the umbrella of the one world order, with every OWO soldier, no matter from which nation, wearing a blue beret.
FDR made a huge leap into socialism using the emergency of the Great Depression, and gave us Social Security and the New Deal, each turning the constitution on its head. He would have done much more destruction, but fortunately for America, he died.
Lyndon Johnson gave us the Great Society, where a significant increase in the transferring of America’s wealth into the hands of ner-do-wells and other miscreants took place….. all done for the purpose of buying votes from the naive, ignorant and mis-informed, the unstated goal of the progressives for more than a century. Then, in the 60′s we got the Medicare and Medicaid entitlement programs, both going broke rapidly.
“What’s in a name? That which we call a skunk, by any other name would still have the foul order of the skunk ….. and for good reason, we doth keep our distance.” – Ron Ewart
The slide into socialism has been constant and persistent. Those in power discovered they could buy votes with money from the public treasury (mostly the dependent occupants of big cities) and it went down hill from there and is continuing down hill, to where we find ourselves today.
Obama Care is just more socialism, but on a much grander scale. The forth coming Cap and Trade legislation, bank regulation legislation and amnesty for illegal aliens, will seal the deal. There will be no return from Obama Care, Cap and Trade, draconian bank regulation and amnesty for illegal aliens. After that will come the registration and then confiscation of all guns in the hands of American citizens, the final coups d’état.
The “fix” will be in. The votes to perpetuate “progressivism” will have gone over the top and they know it. Virtually every segment of the American culture will have been bought off and will continue to fight amongs themselves to make sure they get their peace of “pie”. Not unlike vultures feeding on a carcas.
The influx of millions of illegal aliens, who come here as socialists anyway, will slam the door shut on any chance of restoring our Constitutional Republic. Socialism will be here to stay.
In the end, the federal government will have control of our money, our land, our food, our water, our energy and our health care. Freedom, liberty, free choice, capitalism, entrepreneurialism and the American free spirit will have been yanked out from under us without a shot being fired.
So we say to those who still cherish freedom and liberty, the gloves are off, political correctness is a fraud and name-changing to hide the truth is a sham. We will not varnish reality here. Therefore, let’s call Obama Care what it really is:
MARXIST CARE!
Let the symbol of Marxist Care in this article be the graphic representation of what the Obama administration and the Democrats who control the U. S. Congress, have become. It would be easy for millions of Americans to construe that MARXIST CARE and all the other unconstitutional legislation being promoted by those who have and now wield power in Washington DC, is treasonous and those who have or would sign these acts into law, are in fact, traitors to American freedom, liberty and sovereignty. There should be severe penalties for these actions, other than just being run out of office by the voters.
November 2010 is our first opportunity to do just that. In 2012 we need to finish the job. Then we need to hold those who have gained power in 2010 and 2012, to their solemn oath of office to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, so help them God, or they too must go.
In any event, if you would like to use the Marxist Care symbol, feel free to do so. A printable version It can be found on our website at http://www.narlo.org/mhc.html.
