Ewart: Is America Approaching Critical Mass?

nuke_bomb_thumbNuclear fission defines a condition in nuclear physics where atoms are being split apart.  Nuclear fusion is where atoms are being fused together to make different atoms.  In our Sun, the immense gravitational pressure creates very high temperatures and ignites nuclear fusion at its core.  Nuclear fusion in the Sun is estimated to be converting 600,000,000 tons of Hydrogen nuclei into Helium nuclei every second.  This nuclear process of fusion releases huge quantities of energy in the form of neutrons, photons, neutrinos and gamma ray radiation. This energy is what heats the Sun’s core to 10,000,000 degrees and its surface to 10,000 degrees and what heats the Earth and the other planets.  If not for Earth’s magnetic field, which diverts the Sun’s deadly radiation around it, all life on Earth would be “fried” by the Sun’s radiation, that is if life ever began in the first place.

It is the gigantic pressure of gravity that ignites nuclear fusion in the Sun.  But fusion can also occur here on Earth by placing two clumps of highly radioactive material together until the radiation from one clump ignites nuclear fission or nuclear fusion in the other clump, depending on the type of material used in the clumps.  The point at which a nuclear reaction begins and can be sustained, is called critical mass.  But to reach the point of critical mass, a significant force must be applied to bring the two clumps together.  It is that force that triggers nuclear fission (atoms splitting) or nuclear fusion (atoms fusing together making different atoms).  When critical mass is reached, the sustained nuclear reaction releases massive quantities of energy, as Einstein predicted in his Theory of Relativity with his famous equation, E = MC2, where “M” equals Mass and “C2″ equals the speed of light, times itself.

critical mass

But “clumps” of people can also be brought to “critical mass”, where built up potential energy is suddenly released as kinetic energy, in a virtual instant.  In almost every case, the force needed to reach critical mass can be immense indeed, as most humans are peaceful, or intimidated by fear.  Severe hunger, starvation, disease and panic can ignite critical mass.  Cataclysmic natural disasters can also create the conditions for critical mass, as in giant earthquakes, mudslides, floods, tsunamis, hurricanes and the like, as is now happening in Haiti.  Excessive government abuse, regulation, restrictions and violations of the principles of freedom, or the usurpation of powers the government does not have, can bring on critical mass.  Taking away rights, possessions, or money from people by government, can trigger critical mass.

Critical mass in humans is where the normal peaceful order of large groups of people, suddenly breaks down into wholesale violence, chaos and anarchy and where governments are severely strained to maintain order and where people are killed or murdered by government to intimidate other people into stopping the violence, as is now happening in Iran.

The first weapon of governments, reacting to the product of “people” critical mass, is by instituting martial law and curfews, when law and order break down.  The second is calling out the national guard or the American military to quell any significant uprising and have no doubts that the American government will do so by suspending or repealing the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, which prohibits the use of our military on American soil.  And don’t think for one minute that government won’t do it.  President Lincoln suspended Habeas Corpus during the Civil War and thousands of people were imprisoned without due process of law, at Lincoln’s orders.

But alas, on November 4th, 2008, a dynamic pressure began to increase on the American people.  A kind of uneasiness settled into the American psyche.  On January 20th, 2009, rights began to be taken away as a new president was sworn into office, who promised to fundamentally transform America.  But transforming America into “what”, was never articulated.

This new president began “transforming” almost immediately.  Businesses and banks were and are being nationalized by the President, who has absolutely no constitutional authority whatsoever to do what he was doing and continues to do.  Businesses and banks were and are being bailed out by the government with billions of dollars of our tax money and winners and losers were and are being picked by powerful men in the back rooms of powerful places, every day.

Nationalizing the American Health care system was in the President’s sights early on and he and the progressive U. S. Congress set about to shove national health care down the throats of the American people, in spite of vociferous, wide-spread opposition to the government take-over plan.  Even after losing two governors in Virginia and New Jersey to conservatives and an upset senatorial win for the conservatives in Massachusetts, the President and Congress are still moving to “shove” health care down the throats of the American people, any way they can.  Government is not getting the message the people are telling them by these recent elections and the ever-growing tea party movement.  That is arrogance, born of narcissism and the lust for absolute power.

Even though the myth that is man-caused global warming has been exposed for the international fraud and wealth distribution scheme that it is, the President and the U. S. Congress under Pelosi and Reid, are still working towards the implementation of a massive cap and trade bill that will send the cost of everything in America, especially energy, skyrocketing and our standard of living virtually down the toilet.  And if the Congress doesn’t pass Cap and Trade legislation, the totally out-of-control bureaucracy, euphemistically named the Environmental Protection Agency, will implement its own version of cap and trade by fiat rule making, which nevertheless, has the force of law and the net effect will be the same, as if the Congress passed enabling legislation.

The handling of international affairs, terrorism and the bungling of trying the 9/11 conspirators in civilian courts, in New York mind you, shows the utter lack of experience and ineptitude that this community organizer really has.  Taking three months to make a decision on whether to send more troops into Afghanistan, is also suspect of this collegiate, unseasoned politician.

In two years this President will have increased the national deficit by much more than the increase of the deficit by President Bush in eight years.  Millions of Americans are reeling at the thought of what the mounting debt will do to their kids and grand kids and what it will do to our economic standing in the world and our own economy, with a debt that cannot ever be paid back without monetizing it with hyper inflation ….. or going to war.

For these reasons and more, critical mass is rapidly approaching in America.  But the critical mass does not have to end in violence, chaos and anarchy, which could ultimately trigger martial law and curfews throughout the land.  As more Americans wake up from their slumber and assess the situation, a wave of conversions to conservative principles will spread across America like a wind-driven grass fire, just as it did in 1776.

We encourage all Americans who long to preserve freedom, to find solace in the reality that all things come in their own time and the peaceful critical mass that we are all waiting for, is on the near horizon.  All it takes is just a little more negative force from an arrogant, out-of-control government, that has lost sight of its duty to constitutionally represent the Consent of the Governed.  For soon, the Consent of the Governed will “esplain” it to those in government who have lost their way and marched head-long into the devil’s bosom.

Although some Americans have given in to the siren call of socialism, a patriotic, freedom-loving heart still beats in the chests of tens of millions of free Americans, who will not let liberty die.

Happy Valentines day to all.  May this Valentines day trigger the critical mass of love and caring in all people, but also ignite the passion of freedom and the collective commitment to preserve it, by whatever means.
