FoFO: Thoughts After a Walk

Do You Ever Feel You Are The Alien?

opinion_blogSome months ago I took up walking daily. I found it refreshing to get out of the car and let my body carry me where I wanted to go. When driving, so much is missed because your attention must be on the road. But walking, being an automatic function, allowed my attention to be drawn to all the things large and small all around me, which were missed when driving. A couple things I have noticed which I thought were quite odd though I share with you now…

First I noticed that virtually everyone you pass by while walking does not make eye contact with anyone else. I was intrigued by this observation and made it a point to attempt to make eye contact with everyone I passed by but it would rarely happen. People will go out of their way not to make any eye contact with anyone. They will look down as you pass, they will start fiddling with a book, dog, purse, note book as you pass saying in effective I am busy with this or that so I am too busy to make eye contact or acknowledge your existence. I began thinking about this and remembered a lesson taught to me when I was young, that the eyes are the doorway to the soul. With all the perversion and evil going on in the world today, I wonder that if most people feel guilty about themselves and how they live and what they think that they knowing about the eyes being the gateway to the soul go out of their way to hide their eyes in fear that someone may see those hidden things about themselves they try so hard to hide from the world?

The only thing I thought was quite odd was almost everyone I see, whether they are just walking, pushing their babies around, jogging or what have you were connected to some device which continually was feeding them their never ending needed dose of programming. The cell phone is by far the largest intruder into their minds. I hardly see anyone walking around who is not playing around with their cell phone. Don’t they know that there is strong evidence they cause cancer and other brain abnormalities with long term use I wonder? Just the other day, and this is the truth, I saw a lady who was jogging. She had a baby cart with baby in front of her she was pushing along with one hand as she jogged and with the other hand she was holding the cell phone up to her head. Are people so addicted to this technology they can’t be without it a few minuets while they take their baby out for a morning stroll? Apparently so. I guess some of these cell phones do more than make calls. They may connect to the internet or play games or something because I see a whole lot of people walking alone staring at the little screen of the cell phone they are playing with.

If it’s not cell phones it’s something else. Almost everyone I see walking around has something stuck in one or both of their ears. They are listening to radios, I-pods, CD players and a host of other adult toys. It is truly rare to see someone out and about who either doesn’t have a cell phone pressed up against their heads or some type of headset on their heads so as to be continually fed their needed dose of propaganda. I have seen two people walking together side by side one actively chatting away to some unseen person on the damn cell phone and completely ignoring the real flesh and blood person they are with. What is that all about anyway?

I don’t watch TV, I have no need for I-pods nor do I own or want a cell phone so I don’t understand how people can get so attached to these things they can’t leave the house without them and even ignore others over using their toys. The powers that be use incrementalism to acclimate people to the changes in the direction they want them to take. First it was transistor radios, then eight track tape players. These were followed by the smaller cassette players and later by the compact disc players. Now there are cell phones and I-pods. The trend has been to get into the hands of the people audio media, which can be filled with their propaganda around where ever you go. The trend has been to get smaller and smaller. I can’t help suspect that the goal is working up to an implant which they want the public so badly to have. They train the people to become addicted to all this stuff, make them smaller and smaller and with more features so when they introduce the implant device it will just seem like a natural thing to do for most who have fallen for this plot.

I confess, I don’t understand this stuff at all. I don’t understand what it is about most people that they feel they have to have programming fed to the 24/7. Some might say, well I don’t listen to propaganda but music. But don’t you know friend that the powers that be control the music industry and they fill them with their propaganda which includes subliminals? I can see where all this is going, toward acceptance of the implant and wonder why people don’t see how they are allowing themselves to become manipulated. All this seems so strange to me and is so wide spread I feel very alone at times because few people haven’t fallen into the snare. At times I feel like a space alien who came to a strange planet where everyone was and did things exactly the opposite as myself. Our creativity and most significant thoughts take place in those quiet times. But if we are wired up with gadgets and all manner of things bombarding our attention all the time, we are never going to be all we could be as people. We stifle our creativity and can’t hear that innate wisdom within us which could help us and the ones we love if we would just give them equal time with the cell phone or other devices we wire ourselves up with.

I agree. Here in IL it is now illegal to use one when you drive without hands free; that is unless you are a Cop(read thug.)

Being an Ham radio operator, i like to talk to people, but this hobby serves a useful purpose.
As for TV(read Zionist Enemy in the living room)the Weather Channel is informative and serves a purpose. hb AARP 3 %er!

That’s because everyone’s scared of everyone else. Television has people programmed that their neighbor is a psycho and the best thing to do is avoid them. And of course, they need protection from the government against the bad guys.

And people wonder why the divorce rate is so high.

Very well written rant. I agree with this. I do have a television however but since it’s not hooked up to anything, it’s only for DVDs. I have a theory that commercials play to people’s insecurities so much that long-term, the more commercials you watch, the more insecure you’ll be.

I hate cell phones. My wife and son have them, but I refuse to use them. When I go out my wife tells me to take hers in case of emergency. I throw it in the glove compartment and leave it there.

When I am on break at work I am bombarded with the incessant ringtones of cell phones that are stashed away in purses while people are out doing their jobs. As soon as they come in for break they dig them out and, up to their ears they go. I have even seen people talking to other people in the cafeteria who are sitting at another table. What’s up with that? Are they too lazy to walk 20 feet to talk to someone?

I would love to see what would happen if all cell phone service were disrupted for 24 hours. People would panic! I can go for a week without using a regular phone, these people can’t go two hours without using a cell phone. I wonder, do they sleep with the damn things?

I must agree on what’s written here, mostly about cell phones. Each and every time I go grocery shopping, people are pushing their carts with one hand while holding their cell phone with the other and blabbing on them. As much time as these people spend on these phones, it’s a wonder that they haven’t taken root in their ears (have they?) I get so tired of having to listen to these people’s conversations no matter where I go. Common courtesy has gone the way of the horse and buggy obviously. I no longer watch TV (why bother as it’s filled with propaganda and non-important “news”), I don’t have all the latest adult toys and don’t even miss not having them. All I have is a cell phone which is for emergency purposes, only. In addition to feeling anger towards these cell phone blabbing people, I also feel sorry for them. To my way of thinking, they cannot even stand some peace and quiet. They have to “always” be on their little cell phones. I just wonder how in the world did people survive without them?
