Very few people have become an icon of a way of life, as did John Wayne. On or off camera, John portrayed the fierce independence, self reliance and pride that epitomized the perception of the American West, with all its faults and warts. He stood physically taller than most men and few would “crowd” him. He took no quarter and gave none. The perception was that no matter what came his way, he would walk away standing. It is the way that most of us would like to be, but very few attain. It is the image of the tall, strong and proud American, that was born out of the womb of freedom.

But the arrogant, over-educated, narcissistic whipper snapper that occupies the White House, is the antithesis of the proud, independent American who will bust his butt to make his way on his own and to take care of his own, with little or no help from anyone else, least of all the government. To call for help is the last and final alternative, that was bred into us for 233 years in liberty. But if one of our own calls for help, we are right there, ready to lend a helping hand, because that is who Americans are.

In fact, let me be brutally frank. “Obama, you offend me! I don’t want or need your brand of nanny help. I don’t want your money that comes with hand cuffs. I don’t want your dirty fingers in my kid’s school. I don’t want you taken too much of my hard-earned money so that you can give it away to someone else whom you think is more deserving than me, for their vote. I don’t want you tak’n over the banks and businesses and spendin’ America into irretrievable bankruptcy.”

“I don’t want you messin’ with my energy and I don’t want you stoppin’ real Americans from using their prowess, creativity and ingenuity to find more energy and supply all Americans with it, at a profit. Don’t even think of passing your unconstitutional “crap” and trade bill to solve a non-existent problem that liars and cheaters created, to rob America of its wealth, its resources, its sovereignty and its freedom.”

“And especially, I don’t want you tak’n over and nationalizing the American Health Care system so that you can control all of human behavior from the White House, or the Capitol. Them’s is fightin’ words Obama and fight we will. The tea parties are just the beginnin‘.”

“Further, I don’t want you joinin’ up with those socialists from Europe and the thieves, liars, despots and dictators that occupy that den of corruption, the United Nations. Kick ‘em off American soil, I say. And I don’t want you givin’ away our sovereignty to make you look like you was President of the world or somethin‘.

I don’t want you cuttin’ deals with the cut throats in the middle east that would decapitate you, if you should look at ‘em cross-eyed. As a matter of fact Obama, I want you to shake a stick at ‘em, a big stick, and I want you to back it up with real American military power, so that there is no question about the message, because a superior power is all that these savages understand. And I want you to quit messin’ with the military and take these brain-dead terrorists that would do Americans harm and try them as enemy combatants, in a military tribunal, where they belong. Quit pussy-footin’ around, Obama.”

“And one more thing. I don’t like you thumbin’ your upturned nose at our constitution, our freedom and our liberty, that millions of brave men and women shed their blood in its defense, while you trash and exploit their sacrifice.”

Obama, while your absorbing this message from one American, I strongly suggest you pass it on to the others of your ilk (Pelosi, Reid and the other progressives in your administration and Congress), who would destroy the greatest human political experiment that ever came along in 5,000 years, to lift conscious beings out of the savage jungles of eat or be eaten. No matter what you do or try to do, you will not kill the American free spirit that is now awakening, as a re-birth of 1776 and the shot heard ’round the world. You, like the Japanese, have awakened a sleeping giant. Americans fought for their freedom from a tyrannical government once before and they WILL do it again, so help them God. And you can take that to the bank.
