FOFO: Graduate Level Doom and Gloom
This appears to me to be a pretty accurate analysis.
It should be noted that this essay was written before the announcement today that the government - in its infinite wisdom - is raising the debt limit to 1.9 trillion dollars. I guess we didn’t have enough debt. And that’s just to insure that the government doesn’t face “shutting down government services” to non-producers before the November elections. The vote was opposed pretty much strictly across party lines - 60 Democraps voting in favor, and 39 Republicraps in opposition.
Another matter that’s noteworthy is the fact that whenever there’s a debt problem at the federal level, the first thing they do is to close down national parks, etc - anything that twists the knife in the taxpayer’s backs. It’s just a ploy to screw over the taxpayers. For instance, they still have to pay National Park rangers to close down the parks, evict vacationers and guard the gates. They want to hurt people wherever they can.
What’s wrong with letting people visit that parks and simply close amenities - people can carry their own toilet paper and food with them, if they have prior notice of the problems. And many parks are set up so that the visitors put money into an envelope and drop it into a slot and place a permit on the windshield showing that they’ve paid their fees. It wouldn’t take a lot of manpower to insure that no fires get out of hand. Those people will be there anyway. Besides, when travelling on airplanes these days, unarmed passengers are the ones who stop potential terrorists from setting their skivvies on fire - not federal agents. The people are a hell of a lot more resourceful in many cases than given credit for.
The National Parks could also be operated by private enterprise. Have actual working folks perform the jobs that useless government union wastrels now do. Hell, the government couldn’t even make a profit running a whorehouse.
Some of us know how bad the money system is. Elected officials knew and know that the operation of government couldn’t continue in the same way forever. Pushing debt farther and farther into the future worked 20 years ago, but I’m convinced that one of the major reasons that so many incumbents aren’t seeking reelection is because they know that the fit’s gonna hit the shan within the next several years. And they know by experience how short the memories of the majority of the sheeple are. The likely believe that when the country implodes, they will be forgotten when the rioting begins. They’re probably correct. But our dear Reader, Barack Obama - who continues solely with the blame game - (some of it righteous, but mostly not) knew, or should have known, about the problems he was going to encounter when assuming the reigns of the Presidency. He told us all, ad nauseaum, about how he was going to fix all the country’s problems. I’m confident that there’s no campaign promises made by Dear Reader that he’s kept. And of course he’s doing little about what he’s paid to do - properly manage foreign affairs.
We’re in deep shit. A friend of mine, whose a CPA and an economist in her own right, explained that if people can’t see the kind of trouble we’re in, with umpteen bank failures and some of the largest manufacturers in America going bankrupt, they pretty much deserve the hell that’s headed their way. She’s written much on the subject, both on her Blog page and in articles published in online and print magazines. Other websites bang the drum of truth every day. Hopefully someone’s listening.
It looks to me like we’re headed for another major scale version of Hurricane Katrina, where people will be sitting around, changing thumbs waiting for “the government” to bail them out - and it just won’t happen. We all read about how doctors treat people with 300 dollar sneakers, high tech cell phones, hundreds, or maybe thousands of dollars worth of tattoos adorning their flabby skin, and still manage to obtain “free” health care, reproduce like lemmings - and bitch about service.
I concur - we are racing towards gloom and doom. And it’s not gonna be pretty.

Any statistician worth their salt knows that the most valuable asset of any nation is their youngsters.
Is it any wonder that the miscreants are doing their accursed (properly used) “best” to destroy them in any manner available.
Those who survive will be slaves to those who own everything around them.
There is no “innocence” in those who seek to turn this nation into another of their Hell holes around the world.
My thoughts go to one of one of those turd world countries where a “man” told me “if you don’t have at least ten children, your not a man”. I told him that he “was a piker and that the rat can out produce him any day of the week”. Then I told him “If you breed like rats, you will live like rats”.
Can you imagine hanging on a rope on the side of a mountain to grow a little garden on a narrow ledge so you can try to feed your “manly” husbands production, but that is EXACTLY what some of the women were doing while their “husbands” were busy sitting on their rears or were brewing up the next batch of booze.. WHAT am MAN he was. Nah, he was just a rat in heat.
