A Line In The Sand

biesada_thumb_newAmerican’s are too easy lately. We have gone from an old warrior spirit, to passive victims of prey by unscrupulous public servants. These predators of greed, have little concern for you, or for me, or for our well being, or security.

They are running a game on us through the art of manipulation and illusion. If you don’t want to lose your country, or your liberty, it’s time to draw a line in the sand, and hold your elected officials accountable for their tyrannical actions.

The latest farce perpetuated on the American people, besides breaching our national security, was the hyperbolic gesture of awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to President, Barack Hussein Obama, a political neophyte, with no record of accomplishment, not even as a community organizer.

Our Goose Is Cooked

ross_authr_thumbIn my last article I commented that I thought I may have subconsciously known the cause of all our nation’s problems all along. Allow me to expand upon that for a few moments.

As I would read through the various blogs and articles the general consensus was that all our nation’s problems can be attributed to our elected officials in Washington D.C.

I got the impression that people felt that if we could just get those crooks out of office, that things would be just fine in America again. It’s a nice dream, but that’s all it is, a dream.

Ewart: Is That the Sweet Odor of Rebellion We Smell?

ewart_blogGod love Americans, with all their faults.  Most just want to live out their lives under the flag of freedom, without undue influence from their government ….. a government whose solemn duty it is to preserve, protect and defend the unalienable and God-given rights of the people to pursue their lives, their liberty and their perception of happiness.

“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

Metcalf: Lessons Learned…Lessons Ignored

“There are three kinds of men. Those that learn by reading. Those that learn by observation. And the rest of them who have to pee on the electric fence for themselves.” – Will Rogers

metcalf_thumbPredator drones have been successful in killing over a dozen al Qaeda and or Taliban honchos. That is a good thing. Drones are working…however, one person reportedly is standing in the way of expanded missile strikes and it is none other than President Obama.

According to NEWSWEEK, five administration officials report “the president has sided with political and diplomatic advisers who argue that widening the scope of the drone attacks would be risky and unwise” (in other words…successful). This is the same kind of counter-intuitive politically correct brain flatulence that set the stage for the Fort Hood disaster.

Alexander: Job Creation for Dummies

“Were we directed from Washington when to sow, and when to reap, we should soon want bread.” - Thomas Jefferson

opinion_blogBarack Obama outlined his Recovery.gov version 2.0 on Tuesday of this week, saying, “My economic team has been considering a full range of additional ideas to help accelerate the pace of private sector hiring. We held a jobs forum at the White House…”

Indeed, Obama held a much-publicized “jobs” confab last week, ostensibly to obtain ideas about how to create (and save?) more of them. This exercise in futility was fodder so he could feign having sought advice from some people who actually create jobs.

Guttman: Obama for World President?

obamapoleon_thumbRookie Democratic congressmen are reportedly afraid that Obama will stubbornly press ahead with his unpopular plans for Health Reform, even if they, his unwilling Kamikazes, get voted out of office in 2010 as a result. As a dedicated Obama watcher, I for one am not surprised by this development. In fact, I am now betting even money that our president is not particularly concerned about his own re-election in 2012, and that he will enact as many of his programs in health reform, energy conservation, arms reduction and income redistribution as he can before his current term expires, and then try for higher goals. My hunch is that he is already getting restless in his present job, and that he seeks a promotion to an even greater status.

Three Black Marks on America

kingfish_thumbFor far too many years, this nation has been held hostage by the two biggest race-baiters in the world – both of whom claim the title of “Reverend” – Jesse and Al. I don’t know about you, but in today’s society, we could add a third – Jeremiah Wrght, and could start a new chain of Three Stooges shorts (movies), with an all Black Cast….

Bring back Amos and Andy…..

Boldin: The Growing Movement to Nullify National Health Care

eye_on_america_newIn response to what some opponents see as a Congress that doesn’t represent their interests, State Legislators are looking to the nearly forgotten American political tradition of nullification as a way to reject any potential national health care program that may be coming from Washington.

In 2010, residents of Arizona will be voting on a State Constitutional Amendment that would let them effectively opt out of any proposed national health care plan.  Legislatures in Florida, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania are also considering similar State Constitutional Amendments.

Why Drug Companies are Working to Control Natural Supplements

health_watch__thumbAs the battle over government-controlled health care continues, many Americans simply want out of the whole mess. They instead seek a plan of wellness based on healthy eating and natural supplements.

That approach, however, is the opposite of the health care agenda of the American Medical Association and the Pharmaceutical industry. Those forces, which literally control America’s health industry, are based on sickness. The sicker you are, the more drugs you will buy.
