AUGUST 18, 2009 – If President Obama wants to better understand why America’s discomfort with end-of-life discussions threatens to derail his health-care reform, he might begin with his own Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). He will quickly discover how government bureaucrats are greasing the slippery slope that can start with cost containment but quickly become a systematic denial of care.

Last year, bureaucrats at the VA’s National Center for Ethics in Health Care advocated a 52-page end-of-life planning document, “Your Life, Your Choices.” It was first published in 1997 and later promoted as the VA’s preferred living will throughout its vast network of hospitals and nursing homes.

“Oh what fools we mortals be,
As we drown in our on stupidity.
Oh what dunces we have become,
In succumbing to government’s slimy dung.

For now we are deeply stuck
In our enemy’s gooey muck
And we are battered to and fro
Like a brainless hockey puck.

August 19, 2009 – It is a far better thing to die for freedom than to willingly give the chains to our enemies in cowardice ….. an enemy who will use those chains to enslave us.  For 100 years we have either willingly or unknowingly, given the chains to our enemy, who is Hell-bent on putting us in those chains.  And those chains come in the form of law, after law, after law and those laws they pass upon us have no foundation in liberty, as laid out in the Supreme Law of the Land, our Constitution.

August 19, 2009 – Word of my recent article, So Now I Am A Communist As Well finally got around to the guy whose comment inspired me to write it. As I handed him a copy to read, I made the comment, it’s nothing personal, and it was never intended to be personal.

Although it has no basis in Scripture, there is an old saying that goes, “Hate the sin but love the sinner.” That is similar to how I feel. I do not hate anyone because they disagree with what I say, or believe. I often find their views extremely ignorant, but that does not mean I hate them for having them.

Defense Attorney: FBI Had Trained NJ Blogger How To Incite Others When He Was An Informant

August 18, 2009 – (AP)  A New Jersey blogger facing charges in two states for allegedly making threats against lawmakers and judges was trained by the FBI on how to be deliberately provocative, his attorney said Tuesday.

Hal Turner worked for the FBI from 2002 to 2007 as an “agent provocateur” and was taught by the agency “what he could say that wouldn’t be crossing the line,” defense attorney Michael Orozco said.

“His job was basically to publish information which would cause other parties to act in a manner which would lead to their arrest,” Orozco said.

August 17, 2009 – As I begin this commentary, the Usurper has just flown out of Phoenix, after having given a teleprompter-guided breakfast message to the National Convention of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), wherein PROMISING, that Veterans would not lose their health care. He exclaimed that he was “honored and humbled” to speak before the Vets.

I mean, our Veterans do have some kind of health care – Government run health care – BUT – I have seen far too many wait in the hallways for hours, just waiting for basic services – let alone major-care, due to one affliction, or another – some, which were caused by the benevolence of the U.S. Military-Industrial Complex. GREED, my friends! GREED!

With all of the discussion (although rarely at Town Hall meetings) regarding the so-called ‘ObamaCare’ HellCare package currently being sold – er – uh – crammed down our – er, up the azzes  of unsuspecting Americas, it came to me that, throughout the past 100 years or so, we have had hundreds of thousands of ex-military personnel, who have suffered needlessly – not only at the hands of the greedy – but also from a government controlled/run medical system, known as the VA (Veterans Administration).

August 18, 2009 – As we approach the eighth anniversary of 9/11 consider this paradox.  In the post 9-11 years the scientific evidence for disbelieving the official government story has mounted incredibly.  And the number of highly respected and credentialed professionals challenging the official story has similarly expanded.  Yet, to the considerable disappointment of the international 9/11 truth movement, the objective fact is that there are no widespread, loud demands for a new government-backed 9/11 investigation.
