August 29, 2009 – Pictures of the attack on the World Trade Center in New York on September 11, 2001, were taken from a thousand different angles.  The picture on the left you see above, shows an airplane about to enter one of the Twin Towers and the picture on the right is from the opposite angle, showing the resulting explosion from the collision of airplane and building.  The first airplane had already collided with the other tower and the smoke from that collision can be seen in the background.   These pictures, that millions of people around the world saw, don’t lie.  Two airplanes were purposely flown into the World Trade Center as an act of terror and an attack on America where almost 3,000 people died, by a purported foreign, radical, Islamic ideology.  That two airplanes hit the Twin Towers is a fact and cannot be refuted.

But there is a group of people in the United States and abroad who have developed a Conspiracy Theory and they believe the destruction of the Twin Towers and the adjoining WTC Building 7, were not an act of terror by a foreign entity, but an act of sabotage, perpetrated by the American government, or someone inside the government.  In other words, we did it to ourselves and then used the act as justification to go to war with Afghanistan and Iraq.  Incredulous!

In fact, the current edition of the Republic Magazine in issue Number 16, devoted almost its entire content to promoting this questionable Conspiracy Theory.  One must ask, why did they publish this material and what did they hope to gain?   Unfortunately, “shock” sells magazines, newspapers, talk radio, TV shows and advertising and flashes through the Internet like a wind-driven grass fire, true or not.

The writers of the stories in the magazine purport to have amassed all kinds of irrefutable evidence that the airplanes did not bring down the Twin Towers and Building 7, but that thermite bombs were strategically placed in all three buildings to simultaneously explode, shortly after the airplanes were flown into the buildings.  They cite microscopic evidence of traces of thermite in the debris and pictures of molten metal flowing, immediately after the collapse that could have only been caused by the extreme heat of exploding thermite.  There are three possibilities to account for their alleged evidence:

1.    The government of the United States of America, or someone or some group in the government, planned the act of 9/11 right down to airplanes flying into the buildings and planting thermite bombs in each of the buildings on different floors, prior to and designed to coincide with the attack by the airplanes.  (It defies logic that a private group, inside of America, would have sufficient resources or access to the buildings, to pull this off), or

2.    A foreign government, or terrorist group, planned the act of 9/11 right down to airplanes flying into the buildings and planting thermite bombs in each of the buildings on different floors, prior to and designed to coincide with the attack by the airplanes, or

3.    The conspiracy theory promoters’ evidence is faulty, if not outright bogus and the entire photographic and heavily investigated evidence of the event, speaks for itself.

In each of the scenarios, one must ask the questions ……  WHY, and in scenarios 1 and 2, HOW?

Now certainly if the US Government perpetrated the act, the HOW would not be questioned.  If anyone could do it, the American government could.  But the bigger question is, WHY?   Could it be that the American government is so diabolical and so set on bringing dictatorial control to the people of the United States and entering into wars because of lobbying from the military industrial complex and international money changers and power brokers, that it would kill 3,000 of its own people to realize these goals?  Bear in mind, that it could have been 30,000 people.  It was only the delay in the final collapse of the buildings that allowed most of the occupants to escape.  There was no way for those above the collision points to escape and some jumped to their deaths, rather than be burned alive.

And if a foreign government, or terrorist group perpetrated the act, the HOW gets problematic.  Hijacking the airplanes and flying them into the buildings would not be that difficult, given the lack of security at our airports at the time.  But transporting high quantities of thermite into the three WTC buildings and planting it at strategic designed locations, would be virtually impossible without being detected, given the security, maintenance and the thousands of individuals who watch over and constantly inspect those buildings.

That still leaves us with three remaining possibilities.  The US Government did the deed, or those supporting the conspiracy theory are reading the evidence wrong, or manufacturing evidence and connecting dots that aren’t really there, for their own reasons.  Or finally, the act of 9/11 is what we saw and heard that fateful day, that changed all of our lives forever.  Three airplanes, commandeered by Islamic terrorists, flew those airplanes into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, as a pure act of terror and a military attack on America.  Those airplanes and the heat from the collision and the burning fuel, brought the buildings down.

To think otherwise brings us to a conclusion that the American government, arrogantly exceeding the limits on its power with a dictatorship on its mind, purposely arranged to fly airplanes into the Twin Towers and purposely set thermite bombs in those buildings that would collapse them after collision by the airplanes.  If this is true, then the American people have much more to worry about than Nationalized Health Care, Cap and Trade legislation, amnesty for illegal aliens, or the taking over by the government of our public school system and all land, water, food and energy production in the United States.

If in fact this is true, then the only solution to this unprecedented grab for absolute power by the U. S. government, is outright armed revolution by proud, freedom-loving, fearless Americans.  Since we do not believe that our government has sunk that low in their lust for power, it is still possible to save our Republic, peacefully, if millions of Americans will awake from their slumber and take the responsibility as the Consent of the Governed.

From all appearances, the American people are beginning to rub the sleep from their eyes and as they awake, their anger against the government and what it has been and is doing, grows by the hour.  It is too soon to tell where all this awakening anger will lead.  Questions are being asked of government that have never been asked before.

The American people still have the power, if they don’t wait too long before they let government know who has the power and then set about to reclaim it from those who are attempting to take it away.  We live in very perilous times and we must be forever vigilant if freedom, liberty and the American way of life under a Constitutional Republic, is to be preserved.
