The serious, and sometimes chilling, provisions of the medical care legislation that President Obama has been trying to rush through Congress are important enough for all of us to stop and think, even though his political strategy from the outset has been to prevent us from having time to stop and think about it.
September 1, 2009 – What is one to do when they have been backed into a corner? Is one to just lay down and whimper, or are they to fight their way out? Two hundred and thirty three years ago our nation faced such a predicament. The King of England had imposed so many unjust laws and taxes that our nation’s founders were left with no recourse but to take up arms and fight to regain their liberty.
It was our founders belief that we were born with certain unalienable rights, that these rights were a gift to us from our Creator, and that the purpose of government was to secure, or safeguard if you will, those rights.

How the other half lives Once again, Barack Obama, our postracial president, has unwittingly stepped into the briar patch of race. This time, however, the controversy does not involve white people. It involves a group of the president’s fellow African-Americans.
The earlier and internationally reported entanglement occurred in Cambridge, Mass., when a white police officer arrested the president’s good friend, Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. A so-called “teachable moment,” complete with beer, resulted at the White House.
This time, the scene was Oak Bluffs, where the first family vacationed. Oak Bluffs, known as the Black Hamptons, is one of six towns on Martha’s Vineyard. Beer at the White House is not in the offing. (Interestingly, Obama’s notable race problems are occurring in New England, not in race-conscious Dixieland.)
August 29, 2009 – Several weeks ago, I received a copy of a letter in the mail, which obviously was raking the Speaker of the House of Representatives, one Nancy Pelosi – over the proverbial coals. Yet Pelosi, as a member of the worlds Oldest Profession (Politician! Prostitution came along much later, as some young enterprising woman believed that if you’re going to screw someone, why not let them enjoy it for a change), continues to “Rule the Roost” with an iron fist and total arrogance.
On the matter of the “HealthCare” reform, she has made it quite clear, that the discussion is over, that the doors will be closed, and that the Democrats will push this Bill through – without compromise – without the Republicans. Understandably – the public comment sessions are over and have no relevance.

August 30, 2009 – Here’s a question that has been nagging me for months. Are Obama’s ever-growing number of “czars” constitutional? I am not a constitutional scholar, but I have read the document.
Article II. Section 2. “He (the President) shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consults, judges of the Supreme Court, and all other officers of the United States, whose appointments are not herein provided for, and which shall be established by law; but the Congress may by law vest the appointment of such inferior officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the courts of law, or in the heads of departments.”
It has supposedly finally been deep-sixed, as the chorus of objections grew ever louder, but the cash-for-clunkers program wasted billions of dollars America doesn’t have – and offers some valuable lessons for what public policies should NOT attempt to do.
Just in time, too – because the next cash-for-clunkers program may be just around the corner, courtesy of T. Boone Pickens and Ted Turner, who want to prevent global warming catastrophe, by junking “clunker” power plants, while padding their bank accounts with more consumer and taxpayer dollars.

It’s finally been euthanized (or so they say). But in the minds of politicians and rent-seekers, the cash-for-clunkers program was so successful that it deserved billions in taxpayer money.
August 29, 2009 – Pictures of the attack on the World Trade Center in New York on September 11, 2001, were taken from a thousand different angles. The picture on the left you see above, shows an airplane about to enter one of the Twin Towers and the picture on the right is from the opposite angle, showing the resulting explosion from the collision of airplane and building. The first airplane had already collided with the other tower and the smoke from that collision can be seen in the background. These pictures, that millions of people around the world saw, don’t lie. Two airplanes were purposely flown into the World Trade Center as an act of terror and an attack on America where almost 3,000 people died, by a purported foreign, radical, Islamic ideology. That two airplanes hit the Twin Towers is a fact and cannot be refuted.
It’s time for us to go to the closet, get out “the package,” tear it open and tear it down. Clean it, lubricate it and reassemble it. Gitcher kits ready, and go to your other closet and get out your brown shirts and boots.

August 29, 2009 – Sometimes, in response to my commentaries, I hear people exclaim things like, “Hell yes, let’s go kill those scumbags in D.C.” Although I would not lose a minutes sleep if my Senators and Congressman were to die, not once have I ever proposed that people just go out and kill their elected officials.
As much as I hate these people, to just go out and kill them is murder, plain and simple. On the other hand if they were tried by a court of law, and found to have committed acts of treason against the people, I would be more than willing to place the noose around their necks.

The Last of the Kennedy Die-NASTY As soon as Teddy Kennedy’s cancer was detected, one could notice the immediate attempt at the “canonization” of old Teddy Kennedy by the mainstream media. They are saying what a “great American” he is…

1. He was caught cheating at Harvard when he attended it. He was expelled twice, once for cheating on a test and once for paying a classmate to cheat for him.
2. While expelled, Kennedy enlisted in the Army, but mistakenly signed up for four years instead of two. Oops! The man can’t count to four!

August 28, 2009 – Gaza’s troubles have somehow been relegated, if not completely dropped from the mainstream media’s radar, and subsequently the world’s conscience and consciousness. Weaning the public from the sadness there conveys the false impression that things are improving and that people are starting to move on and rebuild their lives.
But nothing could be further from the truth. Since the conclusion of Israel’s war last year, the Palestinian Ministry of Health declared that 344 Gaza patients have reportedly been added to the swelling number of casualties.
I was born in one country, raised in another. My father was born in another country. I was not his only child. He fathered several children with numerous women.
I became very close to my mother, as my father showed no interest in me. My mother died at an early age from cancer.
August 24, 2009 – Anyone who has done any gardening is probably aware of the devastation that can be caused by an attack of aphids, those tiny little green insects that cling to new growth. These little bugs will suck the lifeblood out of a plant.
I wonder how many are aware that aphids are the fastest breeding insect on the planet, being able to produce thirteen generations in a single season. Once they have colonized a plant you either have the choice of letting them kill it, or find a way to get rid of them.
Many creatures on this planet have similar breeding habits. For instance, a female mouse can give birth to anywhere from 4 to 12 baby mice. But did you know that they are capable of becoming pregnant in just 12 short hours! You can imagine how fast mice could overrun your home if you did not take measures to get rid of them.
Since I am one who thinks there are no living humans in America can really remember true FREEDOM in this nation I wonder what that word – FREEDOM – really means to readers when they see it. Unless you were born before Lincoln was Pres. I don’t think you can recall what wasn’t there in reality.
Many today think they are free because they can go to a football game – buy crap food at a fast food joint - go to the local bar for a brew and game of pool – or some may think they are free to worship as they please. All are wrong as each and every thing mentioned, plus any others the reader can mention, have one or more GOVERNMENT restrictions (regulations, licenses, permits, and taxes) attached to each named. The highway/roads you travel are government owned, the airwaves are controlled, your homes aren’t yours as Government collects an annual RENT called property taxes and if you don’t pay it you are out the door even if you have paid the mortgage in full. You RENT from government forever. All our forms of communication can be or are monitored by government agents. I have asked one question for many years and have yet to get an answer: What can you do that isn’t ruled or taxed by government?
That is why I say I wonder what folks think of when they think of FREEDOM. Is a long tether on your government chains what you call FREEDOM? It isn’t what I call FREEDOM. Why do you call it FREEDOM, you are CHAINED – regardless the length of the tether.
August 23, 2009 – Only on very rare occasions do the American people rise up, as they are doing now. Today, they are grow increasingly outraged over the unconscionable spending of our money, the nationalization of health care, banks and businesses, unwarranted billion-dollar bailouts, irrational cap and trade legislation that threatens to derail our economy, the fraud that is man-caused global warming, amnesty, education, medical and safety-net benefits for illegal aliens, picking winners and losers, edging towards the one-world-order and the unprecedented take over by the federal government of the public ”indoctrination” system and the food, land, water and energy production in the United States. It may be one of the largest power grabs by our government in the entire history of America and it is triggering a massive uprising, as well it should.
