First of all – please figure out what it is that you consider to be HEALTH CARE.
Once you have settled that in your mind then you need to determine exactly who and what is needed to provide HEALTH CARE.
Next, list all the things and people that are now involved in HEALTH CARE that aren’t needed. I have done this years and years ago and every so often I present my thoughts to readers.
I like to present mental pictures to readers and that is what this is going to be so get your popcorn and settle down in your comfy chair.
My picture of health care is whatever CARE is needed to ‘fix’ or repair something that has happened to ones body. I want to make a separation between types of things: illness as opposed to broken bones.
I think that PREVENTION is the FIRST line of defense. It is far better to build your body up to ward off any illnesses and diseases than it is to deal with them after they have entered your body and settled in for the long haul. This applies to your bones as well although accidents can be hard to prevent so I want to keep that in a separate category. Let’s just deal with illness and disease for this.
[Yeah - another EAT HEALTHY SPEECH]
I think I can speak on this because of my own PERSONAL experiences – no paid researchers – just my changing what and how I eat and drink and the result from that.
I was born with a broken back (nice way to start life) but no one knew that so I wasn’t treated as a cripple – I was just a kid who had difficulty doing some things but even that back didn’t stop me from doing what other kids did. I played games – I was in street fights – I did trick riding on our horse – rode bucking horses – hauled alfalfa bales (2 at a time) with hay hooks – had 6 pregnancies – all things that one wouldn’t think I should have been able to do. My point in telling this is that I didn’t baby a problem – I lived as if it didn’t exist…. until one day in my mid 40′s I lost the use of my legs while in my backyard – and then I knew I had a problem. At that point I called the orthopaedic surgeon and told him to set the surgery – I was ready for the fusion and laminectomy.
The point I am making in telling you the above is that I didn’t go to any insurance company or a long list of referrals with doctors – each taking a bite out of my bank account. I knew what was wrong and I called the doctor that I needed to correct it.
This brings me back to my first question – What do you consider to be HEALTH CARE? If you think it is lots of doctors, nurses, therapists, hospitals, and insurance companies then we are walking different paths here. To me HEALTH CARE is what I do each and every day – how I eat, drink, sleep, exercise, and THINK. Lots of folks seem to prefer being SICK as it is a great attention getter. I think many of them purposely eat and drink that garbage they call food in order to remain sick.
I challenge all of you to keep a diary of what you eat and drink for one month. I mean EVERYTHING!! Also note the time you eat what as well as how much of it you consume. Then sit down with that record and compare it to what is HEALTHY food and drink. (See the Alkaline foods list http://www.thewolfeclinic.com/acidalkfoods.html )
One thing I have learned over time is that folks are really too lazy to be responsible for their HEALTH CARE. They prefer to eat and drink all the junk – get sick – go to some doctor which their *insurance plan* will cover – get some chemical poisons that are supposed to *cure* the problem when all it does is mask the problem while creating new health’ problems (SIDE EFFECTS). Then on the way from the doctor’s office and the drug store they stop at some fast food joint and get something that adds to their problems. Or, they go home and pop some frozen processed food item into the microwave.
I admit I used to do all those things, that is why I can talk about it – I lived it – unknowingly. I made a list of my major health problems as it got too hard to remember them when I would go to a new doctor for some problem. That list was a full 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of paper – single spaced. In my 20′s I had pneumonia every year in Feb or March like clockwork. After 7 years in a row I said THAT’s IT! no more. For some reason that was the last time it hit me. Not sure if that was a mental statement or what as at that point in time I still had NO idea that the food I was eating was the real underlying problem. I was diagnosed with SLE (systemic Lupus) -and the list of other illnesses and disease is more than most would even believe.
Because I had 4 kids to raise I couldn’t afford to be down in bed sick so I never was one who slowed down regardless of what my body was telling me. I have had a few friends tell me it was my pure determination and bull headedness that kept me going. I think it was God holding me up until I discovered the SOURCE of my illnesses and dealt with them.
In the late 80′s I had had my fill of doctors, prescription meds, surgeries, etc. I stopped taking the pills and determined I was going to find a better way to be free of those chemicals and be healthy in doing so. That was before the internet and trying to find information and learn how to make use of alternative (natural) health care was work to say the least.
Let’s face it. Doctors are not trained to tell patients that what they are eating is killing them and that the pills they prescribe have so many side effects that you are literally taking your life in your hands to swallow them. In all those years of sitting in doctors offices not once did any of them tell me that my diet (acidic food and drink) was the SOURCE of my health problems. And I want to say that I saw several naturopathic doctors and osteopaths.
I learned along my GET BETTER PATH about many things – most of it dealing with how to GET well (colloidal silver, Oil of Oreganol, SAMBUCOL) but it wasn’t until about 2 years ago that I stumbled across the pH balance way of eating and drinking that my health took a sharp turn for the better. I had to live 67 years – most of it dealing with some serious health issues – before I stumbled across the SOLUTION. Eat and drink Alkaline foods and watch the improvements take place right before your eyes. I didn’t buy any pH balance products to do this – all I did was print off the list of acid/alkaline foods – put it on the side of the frig – and reduce the amount of acidic foods while increasing the alkaline items. I have to eat and that means spending money for the food and drink so why not use that money to buy food that is HEALTHY and in doing so I reduce visits to any doctor and don’t sit here worrying about can I pay for HEALTH INSURANCE as I don’t carry any (exception is the mandated Medicare coverage that I have to pay for but don’t use as the health care I utilize isn’t covered by the GOVERNMENT MEDICARE policy). The chiropractor I use right now does accept that coverage and bills Medicare for any adjustments I need but that is the only use I get from it and that is not used unless I can’t deal with the glitch in my git-a-long myself.
I realize there are many who are in situations that they need a lot of medical attention due to their bodies deteriorating to a point that they have no choice but to make use of the pills and such. To those folks I say, you can still IMPROVE your situation if you really make the effort to change what you eat. The first step is to acknowledge that you and you alone are in charge of your health – not Obama or any government health program.
If we could return to real HEALTH CARE – meaning that folks eat and drink healthy foods – learning what your body is allergic to by following the old fashioned way of paying attention to how your body reacts to things. Thanks to government we have forgotten what real HEALTH CARE is all about. Most now think of HEALTH CARE as INSURANCE – DOCTORS – NURSES – PILLS – HOSPITALS – AMBULANCES ….. and funeral homes.
Each person reading this can take control, as I did, and become PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE for your health and that of your family by refusing to eat those processed foods and the acidic foods that most fill their freezers, refrigerators, cupboards with.
If we could convince folks to do that one simple thing we wouldn’t have any need for the INSURANCE PROGRAMS (beyond life insurance) – the LOBBYISTS – The AMA – Big PHARMA – or all those blood sucking parasites who live off of keeping Americans in a state of poor health.
If you removed all those blood sucking parasites and got back to HEALTH CARE – you and your family doctor – the COSTS would be reduced by trillions. There would be NO NEED for this AKA HEALTH FRAUD. Remove the money grubbers and then everyone could afford real health care as the real costs of health care is to pay for all those who do NOTHING to help or improve your health – they just bleed your bank accounts.
Having had many hospital bills in my life and going over the bills to see what they were charging me for taught me that there is a huge money making game that goes on. When I found the items that weren’t provided but billed and informed my insurance carrier, telling them to not pay those items – I was told they weren’t going to do that as it cost too much for them to check the bills – it was *cheaper* to pay as billed than to not do so.
When anyone tells me that the costs of health care have increased and are the cause of so many personal bankruptcies – I wonder if they ever think of the fraudulent charges that are routinely paid because it costs too much to not pay them.
When the bill is reviewed by the patient and the bill is paid to the doctor/hospital by the patient then there is a lot closer look at each and every charge made. With insurance companies and billing clerks in charge the costs increase beyond belief.
So, I encourage readers to become FREE PEOPLE – free your self of the government health care – and at the same time improve your own health (and your family) while SAVING MONEY. Find a local farmer and buy your food from them. Stop drinking those soft drinks as they are liquid poison and get your kids off that junk. We have obesity, diabetes, and all the other diseases that are based upon the consumption of acidic food and drink.
Each person has to make that personal decision – so you want to eat to live or eat to die?
Oh, did I mention that my vision prescription turned around for the first time? I credit this directly to my change in eating Alkaline foods as the reversal took place between the last exam and this one – which is when I made the food changes. And let us not forget my hair returning to BLONDE among other improvements in my skin and overall health. I have not had a sniffle or sick day since I got my pH to stay at 7.0 or higher. And I have been exposed to people who were sick but I didn’t catch what they had as my body was PREPARED to fight off any invading bugs. I prevented being sick – having to spend money for chemical poisons, doctor bills, insurance premiums – all because I made a decision to eat and drink responsibly.
The decision is up to the reader – you can take control of your life and health or you can let government control you. You can be a FREE person or a SLAVE.
Repeat: I RESOLVE TO BE FREE AND HEALTHY AND NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THE DELINQUENCY OF GOVERNMENT. If I refuse to be responsible I won’t ever mention to others that I am sick as that will let them know I am a government slave.
