What Do Americans Really Want?
July 6, 2009 - Good Lord! Just how dumb can we be? Government has been playing the American people like a bunch of marionettes for the last 100 years, pulling the strings one way and then pulling them another, to fit some particular power-grabbing agenda. And boy have they been successful. Just about every special-interest group in America has been bought off by government with money from the public treasury, or outright favors from the U. S. Congress. The states, cities and counties have been bought off. The poor have been bought off. The blacks have been bought off. The Latinos have been bought off. The farmers have been bought off. The seniors have been bought off. Business has been bought off. Unions have been bought off and finally, homeowners have been bought off. Bought off with your hard earned money that government steals from you by the force of law and invokes severe penalties and even jail time, if you don’t comply.
They’ve got us fighting amongst ourselves as we jockey for a position to get our share of the “pie” before the other guy gets his share ….. not unlike pigs lined up a pig trough, or birds at a bird feeder. Americans are in a tug-of-war against each other and it was orchestrated by our own government with malice aforethought. Meanwhile, our keepers are laughing all the way to the banks they now own. They chuckle to themselves over what fools we are. And fools we have been and fools are we still!
Talk about clever! Have we ever played into their hands. Like a beheaded turkey, scheduled for a thanksgiving dinner, our feathers have been plucked, our giblets are being boiled right now for the gravy, our insides have been stuffed with dressing and we are going into the oven right now. But even worse, the temperature of the oven has been set very high. They don’t plan to eat us, they plan to “burn” us. Just how long are we going to go on ….. being dumb?
So what do Americans really want? It depends on who you ask, but in reality they want everything and they want government to give it to them, because they have convinced themselves, with the government’s help of course, that it is their “right” to get it, no matter who has to pay. The word “blind” and “dumb” come to mind.
Every time a politician says, “this is what Americans really want”, he or she is lying, because that politician has no idea whatsoever, what ALL Americans want. It depends wholly on which Americans are asked and what are their political, ethnic and economic biases.
Now that most Americans have been bought off, government is free to pound the last stake in the ground of dictatorial control, with energy, climate, food, water, land, environment, social, gun, the one-world-order and national health care legislation. They are well on their way to doing it and they are doing it right in your face, open and notorious ….. the constitution be damned. To seal their grip on power, they will be granting amnesty to 20 million illegal aliens whom they know will return the favor with a socialist (make that “liberal”) vote. For the truth be known, it is perpetual power they seek. Perpetual power over you and everything you do.
If you are one of those Americans who have been “bought off”, you had better start weaning yourself off the government pretty damn quick. The irrevocable axiom is, if you “owe” someone, they “own” you until the debt is paid. Right now, the debt is s-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o high, it could be pondered, can the debt ever be paid? Many wise ones think not.
Nevertheless, we have a choice. We can go on being dumb and let government pull the ”noose” tighter, or we can break the chains that bind us and declare freedom, even if the consequences and the price we must pay for that decision, is high. Only when most Americans “want” the right things, based on the foundation of liberty, can we ever be free. If it is true that we are nothing but lemmings, we must realize that the “cliff” is getting very close and time is running out. Either the brave ones stand up and fight, or we go over the cliff with the rest of the lemmings.
Look in the mirror and ask yourself, are you a pig lined up at a pig trough, a bird at a bird feeder, a lemming in a herd of lemmings headed for the cliff, or are you a stuffed turkey about to be thrust into the oven? Or ….. are you a free man (or woman) who will commit right now, this very minute, to preserving, protecting and defending liberty. The choice is yours. One decision will earn you slavery, the other will earn you freedom. If you choose freedom, you will earn the gratitude of your children, your grand children and all future generations. If you choose slavery, you condemn them to perpetual servitude.
